This was my wedding song in 2001. The original sang by Garth Brooks as Chris Gaines. When people would ask “What song are you walking down the aisle to?” I would say, oh it’s a Garth Brooks’ song. I got crazy looks. When they heard it, the reactions were totally different!

This man is an example of a person who enjoys life but still alert of what's going on.
As a country fan, I view this as nothing short of a beautiful show of respect respect towards perhaps the biggest star the genre has ever produced. While Chris Gaines wasn’t well received, especially by die hard fans of country, its speaks volumes that Donald is able to see that there are legitimately great works within that particular experiment. Bravo Mr. Glover.

Bari Naadueba He looks perfectly like a goth rock guy, like insanely so. It’s amazing how different people can make themselves look. Sort of like a white Prince look, particularly the hair. And then wrote great songs plus sung them really well in a genre he’s not at all known for, like the exact opposite pitch he normally sings in. People make fun of him and stuff but he really nailed it style, sound, and writing wise.
