What I love about John Mayer is that this dude has such a passion for music that, as big a star as he is in his own right, he doesn't mind playing backup on guitar/vocals to people like Frank Ocean, Ed Sheeran, Post Malone or any number of artists.
Flea and Chad from RHCP is the same. Flea played trumpet as part of a giant orchestra for Ms. Lauryn Hill, camera showed him only a couple of times, very humble move.

He did not play with rhythm and tone as much in the booth as he did here. I liked the more monotonous singing in the studio version with the minimalistic beat more, but to each their own. Still a very cool rearrangement of his own song :D

They’re just caught up in his stardom.. He’s just a guy. With a team. You can be just as awesome as him. (No disrespect to Frank’s dedication/art)
When your natural good at something and practice and are ready for the moment its really easy. You just get in a zone... you been doing this your whole life with people telling you you sound good your whole life... no pressure
