    If corbyn could acheive anything it would be to finally put into law
    criminal liability for all civil servants for negligence and abuse of
    the vulnerable,blind,and elderley in our society. Its been too long that
    those working in the public domain who have escaped criminal liability,
    not be held accountable for Hillsbough grenfell tower, abuse of the
    blind children and adults of UK citizens.

    It is a sad disgrace how trolls still leap to this and other such pages to blame fans. Those in positions of power have been getting away with murder - literally - for time immemorial. Well done all the brave and courageous families who refused to be screwed over by the establishment/system.

    Police or stewards who block the tunnel access to pens 3 and 4 when full were not there to redirect fans to the half empty pens. If they were there nobody would have died.
    The question is why were they NOT there? They are normally always there.
    Was it a misunderstanding and some police went for a break but were not relieved?
    Was it a deliberate action to abandon that post? Was it an order to abandon that tunnel or did individual police do it by choice ? Nobody has ever answered those questions.

      So all those hundreds of Liverpool fans at the gate aren't guilty for pouring in? please bare in mind the innocent fans that died were already inside the stand, who caused the crush wasn't the police they were greatly out numbered by Liverpool fans.
      Also why was the stand caged off in the first place?

    Those innocent fans were already in the stand ready to watch the match, yet no blame is ever placed on the hordes of hundreds of Liverpool fan pouring in and causing the crush.
    CCTV proves it, once those gates were opened they poured in without a single care in the world or the intelligences to understand the area was full and causing pressure in the stands.
    Blame the police all you want which is fine they played their part too,
    However the Liverpool fans at those gates are just as guilty for causing the crush.

      General Pepe Rightwinger
      Well said but you know it's written in law that you are not allowed to blame anyone from Liverpool for anything, Juventus fans are aware of that.
      As for the thousands of ticketless fans outside they weren't doing their upmost to get into the ground, they were just politely standing around and those vile police officers were whipping them forward, what choice did they have but to rush the gates?
      Incidentally how many of the opposing fans did the police manage to injure that day? I've heard that there weren't any, why?
      Factual side of things aside the conduct of some of the command elements that day was questionable, (however looking at the hooligan problem at that time understandable), but they never went out that day to instigate this, ticketless Liverpool fans did however turn up to that ground with every intention of getting in, (as they were well known for doing in grounds around the country). Police made a tragic mistake and it was the genuine supporters who suffered.
      I'll no doubt get many outraged comments for daring to state what the silent majority thinks but my comeback to them is that having zero blame placed on the ticketless fans outside is simply disgusting.

      Yes I agree genuine fans died at the hands of other fans,
      the police were grossly out numbered and weren't equipped to deal with such massive numbers.

    • @Apocalypse21187
      @Apocalypse21187 Před 7 lety +4

      5888max wrong, the police's couldn't care less approach to crowd safty caused the disaster, and the 6 who have been charged deserve to be held accountable for their role in the disaster or the cover up that followed. It's sad that even after all the evidence that's come out over the last few years people still think the police are innocent and the fans were to blame.

    • @5888max
      @5888max Před 7 lety +1

      Nope - The police may not have there finest hour , but the killers were the people who pushed and nobody will face up to that hence this endless whining and attempt's to shift the blame , as I say a court of law deals in facts rather than political correctness so maybe there is chance her to redress the balance

    • @Apocalypse21187
      @Apocalypse21187 Před 7 lety +5

      5888max the facts: violence in the 80s meant football fans were classed as hooligans, and on the day the cops were in the mind set of dealing with hooligans not people, more Liverpool fans had tickets then forest fans but the 10,000+ liverpool fans with standing tickets were assigned to leppings lane - which only had 7 turnstiles and 1 entrance tunnel. this created bottle necks at the turnstiles and tunnel. instead of delaying kick off to sort the problem duckenfield simply ordered the exit gate be opened to let fans in - which made the bottle neck in the tunnel worse and the surge of fans meant by the time anyone in the tunnel realised something was wrong they couldnt stop, people outside had no way of knowing how badly wrong things were going. the police made no effort to direct fans into the near empty side pens. when people were trying to escape and others tried to save lives the polices 1st response was "its a riot", before finally getting their act together and trying to help save lives. it doesn't matter how many times anti-lfc people try to blame the fans what happened was because police didn't do their job properly and people died. the reason this has gone on for so long is because the families of the 96 and many others knew the police lied about what happened and got away with it - put yourself in their place and tell me you would just let it go...

    • @5888max
      @5888max Před 7 lety +2

      Indeed ,and this happened in the '80's - the people that caused the deaths were the Liverpool hooligans ( they had killed a bunch of Italian's only months earlier ) Sadly the people who died were well behaved mostly younger fans who turned up on time with tickets , but they were killed by the drunken late arrivals . Sure the police did not handle it well but they were not trying to hurt people . The fact that everyone since has tried to shift the blame is sick , as I say hopefully when this people are acquitted maybe we can return to a more realistic narrative here

    • @Apocalypse21187
      @Apocalypse21187 Před 7 lety +4

      firstly Heysel was years before not months, and is a shameful part of LFCs history, but the idiots who were responsible for the worst of it got arrested. It's been proven that there was not an unusually high number of drunk ticket-less fans like the police claimed (not to say there weren't any - just no more then normal for the 80s) - like the police also claimed fans forced the gate instead of admitting they opened it. Plus Leppings Lane couldn't even hold 10,000 people, but the cops decided to put the 10,000+ standing ticket Liverpool fans in that stand - are you still going to try and claim the police's p*ss poor actions on the day was not as bad as Liverpool fans actions that day? and what of the cover up? some of the 6 are charged with perverting the course of justice - with evidence to back it up. But I guess you think all the evidence thats emerged of the last 5 years is BS?
