When you truly focus on your health, your own finances, your purpose in life without distractions and trying to please other people, you'll ultimately be happier.
Friends ultimately come and go and the only person you can ultimately count on is yourself.

When I have let friends into my life they ultimate flake and/or let me down. So maintaining those types of acquaintances just adds stress more than anything else.
It's funny though. I've always done very well with women my whole life. But what weirds them out is that I don't care about having friends in my life. Always the same thing. Hit the 2-3 month mark, they ask about meeting my friends, I say I don't keep friends in my life, and they ghost. Many women consider a guy with no friends as a red flag apparently.
In the end though I am happy to be a very successful financially independent guy that is also hot and athletic. Who needs friends when you have money, date a lot, and are close with your family?
Yes, if you have friends you'll make less risks, but honestly wouldn't you want to take risks anyways rather than playing safe and trying to fit in or whatever? That's the prime example of living someone else's life. Sadly, people come and go, and what you've made for yourself doesn't make sense anymore. The fitting in thing doesn't last forever and people end up finding their own thing. You don't want to be that guy who's lost after everyone has left, and the party is over. Now you are "lonely" lonely.

By growing up i realized that most of the time friendship is not like what is depicted on TV shows and anime, where they trust and care for each other deeply.

Kushothe I have few close friends, and just a bit more aquaintences, but I don't interact, hangout, or even talk to them sometimes for months or more - but I get along fine. As a timid, awkward, social outcast growing up, I learned to cope with not having close friends; it took a while lot of failed attempts at friendships, and a ton of soul searching. I am happy just doing my own things, I don't need the approval or appreciation from others. Granted I'm married now, but she's very much like me in this regard, so we're two peas in a pod. We're happy, kind, loving, and always friendly to everyone else. So, I think the need of having friends is dependent on your personality.

I lost all my friends years ago. I have a son with nonverbal autism, and have to put all my time with him. People just stopped calling and texting and being around. Been about 7 years. Some people just suck.

I always sit by myself on the bench at school and listen to music during breaks. I've only once had someone ask me, "Do you have friends?" to which I immediately replied, "Does it matter?" I'm doing fine by myself and i've accomplished a lot that way. I've had 'friends' before I went completely solo but all they did was gossip, drink almost every weekend, vape, smoke and use edibles. I know because I was like an observer with them and that was before I felt ashamed to be alone. There have been 1 or 2 good people that I came across but i'm just not invested in maintaining a friendship as I once was. Overall, in my opinion, it's ok to not have any friends. Trust yourself because you will need to depend on yourself when no one else can help you.

My allergy to dogs has kept me from hanging out with a bunch of my friends, multiple times. My ‘friend’ group recently went home to one of their homes to watch movies and hang out (they did it everyday for a week, and then in some weekends after) and I didn’t get invited, because the person who’s hosting has a big dog. Ever since that, I’ve been really hesitant to socialize, and haven’t been together with them after school. A new classmate even got invited, but they never even said a word to me about it.

Yes, but CZcams is unlike most forms of social media in that your videos can easily viewed by anyone, whereas many other sites make it so you simply post something and all your friends see it. Yes, you can still find other people's profile, but you have to search it up; it won't just pop up as a recommended video.

I have lived my entire life having not a single friend to rely on, to cry on, i wake up to 0 Dm’s, 167 yt notifications and spend my days watching youtube alone and at night also watch youtube, no one has ever been interested in a relationship with me, i am a genuenly good person because i never want to hurt people ans only have been bullied, but people refuse to accept me and i really don’t like being me, i don’t like this life but gaming, memes and yt keep me going, i post this story only sometimes because i don’t want to end up like those stupid attention seeking “depressed” people, i think not talking to anyone for long periods of time ans genuen un happieness is more depressing than telling everyone that you are depressed on your instagram acc every day but who am i tk judge, i also post this here since no one here knows me/ knows who i am so i don’t get attention, just lift a tiny wieght, on my instagram i never talk about this because then people would see that it would be me, and not “the bearded baby”

I m more happier when I m alone and by myself because I can be the real me. It's the best feeling to embrace one's solitude and find comfort in that. With friends I always have to pretend to be someone I m not just to fit in. So I try my best to be alone and enjoy my time with myself 💜💜
My old "friends" betrayed me without any reason, I was never mean to them, I even invited them to hangout, watch a movie together and spend money with them. So one of my so called "friend" used my other friends and I ended up being betrayed and left me. Now a decade has past and I still have no friends, because I can't trust people anymore.

I'm just gonna say. _Lonely_ and _alone_ are two different things.
Actually you don't need any friends. The one thing in life you learn is that "friends" come and go. People grow, people have families and children and other lives. That's why for all many of those childhood or high school friends fade away. It just happens sadly. They got their own lives and sadly the memory of you fades away. The once daily or texts you got from a "best" friend becomes infrequent until it disappears. It just happens and it's a way of life. The only thing you can do is focus on yourself. Don't get too involved with anyone because eventually that work "friend" finds another job, gets transferred, and then forgets you in 6 months. Just focus on yourself and what makes you happy.

It's been nearly 4 years since i stopped having 'friends' (friends is stretch since it was just classmates, nothing more) and i'm legit serene without them. I can do as i please, think what i want and chill without having to constantly talk on the phone with someone, pretending to be interested in whatever nonsense they be talking about or hang out doing literally NOTHING worthwhile that truly makes me happy.
