dear all, this is YOSE POWER rear motor with cassette freewheel instalaltion video, hope this video can help you to install your e-bike more effective and smooth.
I have a 350watt 36v yose power kit i fitted to my roadbike. Its great! Ive done 5300 miles in the past 12 months commuting to work and back. Its saved me over £1300 in fuel 👍
@@YOSEPOWER I know, I'm trying to calculate the fuel and the energy, like how much does a fuel cost that you can ride 50 km, and how much does the electricity cost to charge the battery for you to ride the same 50 km. From my calculations, maybe I'm wrong, I sae that it's more cheaper to go with electric. I really love the electric bikes, I'm go a buy a wheel 1500w 48v after my birthday, I hope o will get to 65 km/h, even tho I will only ride with 25 km/h in the city, and when going far from city I will ride faster. I love this technology, and the power it has. Imagine if "we" build an electric airplane. Imagine the speed of it. And better for the environment.
Just installed rear wheel 350w yose power kit bought from eBay on my mountain bike. I looked at buying a ready made ebike but they were £800+ and I already have a nice bike that I like... Hence buying the yose power kit for £340. It's a lot of money to invest in a kit for me but I tested it on the road/trail yesterday and I LOVE IT. It makes riding so easy with the pedal assist even on eco level so would be perfect for commuting/general travelling. Just using the throttle without peddling it can get up to speed easily! 15-20mph is easily enough for me. In terms of installation I'm an amateur and still managed it quite easily. Great how yose also supply tools with the kit for removing the cassette/pedal arm and the chain. You will need some torx bits for removing the brake discs however. Connecting the battery holder to the frame is the only issue as the holes didn't line up with my frame bolts and I didn't want to drill my alloy frame. As others have mentioned the clip for the LCD display is weak at best and also not big enough to wrap around my thick handlebar. (Cable ties helped again!) If yose power could improve on these two things in future the kit would be perfect. I've used one bolt and heavy duty cable ties to secure it. As my frame is small (16") the battery and triangle wire bag just fit exactly into the frame space meaning I won't be removing the battery for charging anyway so I'll charge while on the bike. No problem. I haven't used the brake levers supplied because I have hydraulic brakes... I wonder if there is a motor cutoff sensor that could be added to existing levers in future... That would be great. Overall I'm really happy with the kit so far and I've read good things about longevity of these systems so I hope it continues to operate well for years to come!
Already Installed 4 Kits. Performence and Handling are really great. By far the best Buy I know. 250Watt Front Motor is great for Cargo Bikes and Cruiser. 350Watt Rear is great for Speed Bikes. Only wish from my side: I could not find a shop were I can by the KT 4 Display mounting bracket. The bracket is not very solid and can break very easily - which is pretty bad because I would by 10 if I could. Thank you!
I thought the controller was part of the battery in a Yose Power conversion kit, one of the main reasons to purchase Yose simplicity installs? Is this an early version or a change?
Hi if you not use the motor it can feel if you just pedaling harder to pedal? In the box send a pair of break if i have oil break can i use the system without the sended pair break? And whiteout the pedal assist also work the motor if i don't want to add the bike?
Hello, You can't get boost if you don't use a motor. if you are using the oil brake, you need to buy the oil brake sensor separately. I'm not sure where you're going to use the motor, we still recommend it on the bike
Would be good to get the instruction manual detailing the settings required for the P settings and the C settings for your 350 watt rear hubs Just a link would do 🙂
I've just installed this kit, and as shown in the video above, it was very straightforward... Except the motor hub does not fit into the dropouts! The diagram on Amazon shows the width of the motor hub as 135 mm. My dropouts are 135 too. But I discovered that the hub has two protruding nuts, plus the lugged washer, which take the width closer to 145. I managed to insert the hub in the end, but the washers are outside the forks! What can I do? Also, the bike shows some resistance when you walk beside it and push. Is that normal? Apart from that, it works well and is very fast.
@@andrewgardner6860 An update: A German customer, in a review on Yose Power’s website, said he had to pay the local bike shop 40 euros to widen his forks so the motor hub would fit. I tried to do the same thing using a car jack but the forks just snapped back into place. I watched as many youtube videos as I could find which showed the rear motor hub heing inserted into the forks. Most of them put the washers on the outside, not the inside. Some advised strongly to do it this way. See for example the video czcams.com/video/dh65XAgvrkU/video.html, from about 6:30 onwards. Anyway, in the end I put the washers outside the forks. Yose Power were very responsive when I contacted them through their website, but made the point that there would be many more complaints if other customers had the same problem as I. In the end, they suggested putting slimmer washers in. Lots of people who were doing conversions advise using a torque bar, which is what I am going to do. It’s on order, and should provide the extra safety which the kit needs.
I also had the same problem with the width of the hub. If you have an aluminum frame you can't widen them, they will break, you can cold forge steel. I had new spacers made at a machine shop, fits snug now and working well.
Just try to install diskbrake on a 350w rear hub motor but orginal 6 bolt disk brake does not match with yose power hub. No disk brake to be found that will fit the wheel

But how much did you pay for the electricy? You needed to charged with something, right?

Hello, there is a controller in this kit. If you buy a battery separately, then the controller needs to be purchased additionally.

Hi, Im looking to buy 28 inch rear wheel with 350 watts Motor, my question is what are dimensions of the Rim I mean especially what width and height?
Is there any drag from the motor when the electric system is switched off, i.e. riding under your own effort only?
Yes, you can ride under your own power if the motor is off.
Just unboxed mine. No chain wrench , spanner or screwdriver . Great.
Hello, you can contact our after-sales customer service, they will help you solve this problem
Can I use this set without the Thumb Throttle only using the PAS sensor?
Yes, you can use this set without the Thumb Throttle.
Did anyone install this on a trek dual sport 1?
I have that peddle sensor but it’s to small to fit the crank, do you do a larger one?
We have different sensors on our website, you can find it if there is what you need.
