We lived in a double wide trailer with 9 kids and two parents. We had 10 acres and built a couple tree/shed houses for kids to escape to and had a swimming pool and with all the outdoor space, the small house was for meals and sleeping. You could totally live there!
My folks bought 80 acres with a very small house in early 60's. $9,500 dollars was the cost and we had a pond a creek, a few tillable fields and woods. I was 10 and those were wonderful years I will never forget. I am glad you all are experiencing the magic of a farm!

I’ve lived on a farm most of my life. After my parents passed we sold the farm but have our house and 5 acres attached to the farm. I can’t imagine living any other lifestyle. Seeing your children having all that land to run, makes my heart happy. Also, the dog is living his best life!! With all those trees, imagine how it will be when the snow falls. ♥️

Living in Vermont for the past 20 years we have seen a lot of amazing views, sunrises, sunsets, and beautiful starry nights. But hands down the sunrises and sunsets in Illinois (born and raised ) and the regions of the Midwest are far more amazing than anything we have ever experienced in Vermont. But the foliage season in New England is pretty awesome the likes of which the Midwest pales in comparison.
I love all the peace and quiet that comes with living in the country. Please keep watch on your sweet puppy. I nearly lost my 4 lb dog to a hawk she was white too. Dont underestimate the predators out there. Love you all :)
Very true. We have to keep our mini wire haired dachshund in a covered pen or on a leash. Even with our big 70 pound setters the hawks start circling when they see her outside. We live way out in the country as well. Lots of predators

I have 4 small dogs myself & have had a few close calls in a neighborhood w lots of large Oaks & Maples, so an expanse of property like this, I'd definitely be careful w her. Maybe it's time for a LARGE dog with this new house & he/she could help protect little Nessa when they're out & about.

I loved my grandmothers house in the country. I would wear one of her worn soft cotton nightgowns and sleep with the windows open. Listening to the owls was the best! She cooked the big country breakfast. It’s the best memory to have.

Rick recently got a griddle fir our grill. He loves it! He does chicken fried rice and it is fantastic. Burgers are great,fried potatoes...bacon. He wants to do pancakes next! I love your property. It truly is peaceful and a place to retreat for rest.......enjoy
I can tell you all are so happy with this property. I'm loving it also! So much room for the kids to run and play, fish and just have fun. It would be awesome to have that much property. No one around you and you can do whatever you want. You don't have to worry about the neighbors if your kids get to loud. I am so happy for all of you. That griddle is super nice!

Often times such large expansions can cost more and be really wasteful. They need a bigger kitcken so that means ripping out the new one thats is perfectly good to add on. I would also assume the extra house will be nice with the amount of guest, family coming from another country to vist, family states away and with the amount of kiddos they will have people visiting non stop

Yes!! They can easily pick up a 10 pd dog! They have killed many of dogs here in sw Florida! I have six yorkies and cannot let them in the yard but have to keep them on the lanai. Big birds can see up to two miles!!

Rick recently got a griddle fir our grill. He loves it! He does chicken fried rice and it is fantastic. Burgers are great,fried potatoes...bacon. He wants to do pancakes next! I love your property. It truly is peaceful and a place to retreat for rest.......enjoy
I can tell you all are so happy with this property. I'm loving it also! So much room for the kids to run and play, fish and just have fun. It would be awesome to have that much property. No one around you and you can do whatever you want. You don't have to worry about the neighbors if your kids get to loud. I am so happy for all of you. That griddle is super nice!
I’ve seen big families live in smaller spaces and living very happily.
It’s such a beautiful place, have you thought about extending the current house rather than building a new one?, the bacon looked amazing, so happy for you all and a belated happy birthday to Micah 🎂🎂
Often times such large expansions can cost more and be really wasteful. They need a bigger kitcken so that means ripping out the new one thats is perfectly good to add on. I would also assume the extra house will be nice with the amount of guest, family coming from another country to vist, family states away and with the amount of kiddos they will have people visiting non stop

Love seeing yall out in the country! Please keep Nessa close by. Hawks and Coyotes are out during the day in the deep South where we live. The hawks actually seem to prefer white chickens, maybe they are easier to see?

Yes!! They can easily pick up a 10 pd dog! They have killed many of dogs here in sw Florida! I have six yorkies and cannot let them in the yard but have to keep them on the lanai. Big birds can see up to two miles!!
The property must be so happy to be full of children and of course momma, daddy and the cute little dog.

Happy anniversary, Sarah and family!!! I have been watching almost that long, and I have fallen in love with you guys completely! I love the joy you project while living a Godly life. I know all Christians should be that way, but, you know..... I love the farm. I feel like God has blessed you for all you do...mostly your outward living, in my opinion(which amounts to nothing in His eyes, I am sure!). I cannot wait for you guys to build, or make additions to your little house. Since I believe we are in the last days, you are in a much better place too....your own water and food supply....fruit trees...and the garden you will eventually have (knowing you guys), and room for the family to stay, if need be. It is just a true, huge blessing.....as all of you are!! The older your children get the more I want to hear their opinions and thoughts....they are brilliant, you know.
Some of my best memories as a kid growing up in the country playing hide and seek in the cornfields etc etc

The place looks so peaceful..The kids are having a blast..Just awesome..Watch Nessa . The Hawks are vicious and they can pick Nessa up quick and be gone with her..She is white and they can see her from a long way off...I had a neighbor that lost a chihuahua to a Hawk..... They grab with their claws on the back and take off... God bless from East Texas..

So this home not having tv and all the distraction’s that happened in the day to day..well you will find your kids will connect and grow even closer together. This is a big thing as I’m sure you know. Now then they are adults you will see the biggest difference. When my own were all little..I raised 5, and after we had our country home, Omgoodness…the change was amazing! I think it even saves us as a family.
