I love this foundation. It’s amazing. I have never tried anything like this before and I have tried almost everyone on the market. The perfume scent fades away and it’s not as disturbing to me like it was for you.
I swear she doesn’t even need to wear ANY makeup at all and she’s still FLAWLESS💖 love you lots girl!
So far , a handful of youtubers haven’t praised this foundation and gave a review for what it was. I finally bought it and it’s heavy , cracks and that clear skin effect disappears after one hour. It’s good but not the best. I think this video, shwetavj7 and shaaleena gave the most insightful review ever .
I have oily skin, used the recommended one pump yesterday and spread it out, set with rcma no colour powder and it was literally perfect all day, no touch ups. best foundation I've ever used! I guess it works differently for everyone x

Stephanie I agree with you! I recently bought it and I'm IN LOVE with this foundation! It covered all the discoloration on my skin, and stayed put ALL DAY! I also used a loose powder to set my face and used 1.5 pumps for my ENTIRE face..

FINALLY an honest review!!! I got soo sick of those people who are too scared to tell the truth so they don’t get featured on huda’s page on instagram!!!!!! This is one of the worst and the cakeiest foundation I used in my life. I have extremely oily skin and this foundation didn’t sit properly on my face. It didn’t blend out. Showed every single texture on my face and made my pores look super huge. Overall very disappointed. Not worth the hype at allllllllllll. Not to mention, After couple of hours of wear it looks soo patchy and muddy. The next day I broke out like crazy maybe because of the perfume or something in the ingredients and honestly I haven’t broke out in a very long time.

You girl should try the fenty beauty foundation. It’s beautiful on oily skin, doesn’t clog pores, doesn’t cause acne, even when you get oily, you can easily touch up without disturbing the foundation. The only down side is that it dries a shade darker, so I recommend going 1 shade down.
i don’t know what happened with you but I loved this foundation and I have oily skin , and a lot of hyperpigmentation. It gave me bomb coverage and stayed tightly put. Maybe try learning how to do your makeup better

I’m so glad you mentioned the transfer. So many you tubers are giving glowing reviews when it clearly has issues. The separating, the excessive transfer and gathering.

It works better with other primers...i used it with farsali unicorn essence and porefessional on tzone and it worked amazingly n lasted for hours 😊

Surprised that this foundation didnt turn out so well for her. I have it and its now one of my favorites, the only one that tops it is probably the diorskin. I've gotten many compliments with the Huda Beauty foundation, but like she said it may work different for everyone.

I feel like this foundation goes on so well..and it matched my skin perfectly...until two hours later..my mom said never wear this foundation again..it oxidized so orange on me..I was so upset. I don’t like the smell (being that I am sensitive to fragrances)..🤷🏻♀️
Same situation happened with me ,but the foundation was MAC mineralise skin finish NC 44 ....sooo sooo red🙄🙄but exactly opposite when i was in the store lights🥴😵
I would say try the foundation with the smashbox primer and it's way better I feel as though it's the huda beauty primer that makes it feel tight and heavy as I've tested it with and without the primer
Lighter shade given for brightening the areas which needed .. And I have finally come to the right shade, I was very doubtful between Amaretti , Tres Leches and Latte but that Thank God , I have found the right decision..

Hey khausal the falls on this video was porbsbaly as u put like 3 pumps on your whole face hence made u felt uncomfortable like heavy and making your pores visible . According to Huda Beauty one pump is enough to get that flawless feeling look without feeling heavy or cons you mentioned . Personally , after I tried one pump it felt and and looked get even at the end of the day :)
Maybe you should give one more go with Huda Beauty faux filter foundation with one pump for the whole face 💕

I think the reason it feels so heavy is because you went way overboard with the primer & you should use 1 pump of foundation for the entire face. I think it looks good tho IMO.
People who already bought it and think its heavy mix in a drop of beauty oil it becomes fantastic. I'm sad naushad didn't like it though loads of other youtubes recommend it including jlos makeup artist.

Maybe try it again with a different primer? to help the hold up of it lol i'm not a foundation wearer only for special occasions otherwise i just powder and go because where i live it's way too hot for foundation my face usually melts.I find even tho i have normal skin when i put any foundation on i tend to get oily.

I wore it with a beauty blender on my channel. I agree the finish isn’t great with the brush but I loved it with the beauty blender. I found it didn’t break up or wear away at all. I also found that it make my pores look flawless! So strange

I ve had a very similar experience with this foundation. It cracks up around the smile lines or any wrinkles, accentuates the pores.
Whats going for this product is the fact that its non greasy.
I use this foundation in the color Latte.
The foundation by itself is thick. A bit sticky too with the heavy perfume scent you mentioned. However, when I mix 2 pumps of the Hudda Foundation with a bit of Estée Lauder Double Wear foundation in the color Dawn, it doesn’t crease, blends smooth and dries very nice.

Also what people expect from a foundation varies with coverage to skin type to finish ECT. So what she wants in a foundation will only be in a few
This is supposed to be full coverage you don't go to someone with barely any blemishes and ask if it's good. they're not used to a heavier feel or coverage you watch someone with hyper pigmentation or acne because they actually have something to cover and you will truly know full coverage, for someone like her medium coverage will be like full coverage

@3:22 Right Toasted Coconut 240N Left Amaretti 310G, she swatches Toasted Coconut 240N but then wipes it off and starts over and applies "Amaretti 310G" to the full face.
This review surprises me. First, you went from mentioning how Huda warns about how heavy the foundation is and to use 1 pump, and you end up using 2.5 pumps at least on your entire face. Second, you didn't set your face at all (except for your undereye mainly)... almost every foundation out there moves without some powder to set it, especially after 6 hours of use! Maybe it is different from skin to skin, but I'm thankful for this foundation as it covers all my discoloration and my acne marks very well! It stays put as well! Current favorite!
The first pump I did was a "new" pump so to speak, so it was around less than half a pump on my hand, and because of the size of the buffing brush, it wouldn't have applied well to my face - which is why I did another pump. I don't like makeup brushes to apply my foundation as the product for me gets lost in the bristles. I don't generally set my whole face with any foundation. If you watch my other videos, you will see this. Foundations don't tend to slip and slide on my face as my skin is relatively normal and not oily. I just get oily on my forehead and sides of my nose, which I did set with powder (I do this when I'm setting my concealer - like in all my other videos). You comment is EXACTLY why everyone should test out foundations for themselves, because for me personally it's not something I'll gravitate towards when I need something to last me all day :) But for the first 3ish hours, it looked nice - apart from the strong scent! However, I'm glad you found your current favourite!
Watched your review with the Rihanna Fenty foundation, and you were all excited and hyped about that one even before applying the foundation (I loved Fenty foundation as well for everyday use)... In this video, you didnt have the same energy as you did in that other video.
But I respect your view, and I agree with you different products work for people differently & everyone is entitled of their own opinion :)

I had the same problems!!! I have normal to dry skin and I tend to have dry skin on my face in the same places you had issues with the foundation moving around the mouth & nose. I’m wondering if it’s not that good on some skin types because I’ve seen other artists rave about it but I’m with you on this one. Also sweating in this foundation is an immediate game over. It pulls up the foundation almost immediately and then makes your pours visible. Not a good look in the summer heat🥵
I hated this foundation, it felt so thick, heavy and dry on my super oily skin.
It was settling into my pores and emphasizing texture I didn't even know I had, it was also settling into lines on my face and was cracking.

Thank you for your honest review. I feel like so many people in the beauty community are just scared of putting down any of hudabeauty products just because all of Instagram is crazy over them. I only open some of her liquid matte lipsticks and definitely see a major difference in the formula between the lip contour kit and the mini editions ... I was excited about this foundation but now I know that I will not just purchase it online until I try it on in store myself

have you ever thought about shaving your face? I always had problems with makeup looking cakey and obvious around my mouth and i started shaving every couple weeks with a facial razor and the problem instantly went away. Super smooth application everywhere

Obviously the sweat and oil on the face are completely different from water.. I don't think any foundation would come off if you apply it on your hand and place it under running water..

Texas.Bella There are no rules when it comes to makeup ma . Some don’t set for different reasons . Like dry skin for example. Just because a company says to do something doesn’t mean it’s correct for everyone 😂

I agree.. Everyone and their moms love this foundation, but it also feels sticky/heavy/uncomfortable to me. It also accentuated my pores on the same area too and also rubs off long wear and it even gets oily. I bought the shade Dulce de leche. I WILL say though that I used to use Tres Leches sample for quite a bit, which was a bit too light (but oxidized to my color), and I never had issues with that one..
Hey Kaushal! I love your videos! I think my skin tone is prettyy similar to yours, but since you like to wear slightly warmer foundation shades, I'd like to know what shade matches your skin EXACTLY. Maybe in in maybelline, estee lauder and fenty?
Great review. I actually love this foundation but found that for me it worked best when I added a little face oil to it prior to application. I think the primer is tacky and that causes it to also feel heavy, but for me the primer works well as I have dry skin.

The foundation is crap, idk why u are very hesitant to say it. Basically you stated all the bad things foundations can do (cracks, settles into fine lines, not long lasting g) , and then backpadling by saying that its good????!!! I'm confused. 🤷🏻♀️

D B the foundation is the best thing to happen to foundation HOWEVER it’s important to have a good base !! And maintaining your skin care routine should make it work for you better .... such as hydrated/pimple free/ black head free !! But definitely less is more
