I feel like tres leches will work better for you. Maybe try it on your full face? Baklava looks toooo warm for your skin tone. ❤️
I agree I use tres leches too, I usually buy the shades Anchal uses and suggests and they match perfectly!
Even I think tres leches looked a close match to old baklava.
@@Shaily.kapadia it was defo going to be too pale compared to my neck! It might have matched my actual face which is lighter but not my neck which is how I usually like to shade match. I’ve actually ordered another shade so will keep you posted if it changes xxx
@@AnchalMUA please let us know about this. In stick foundation video, the same thing happened. Baklava was way too warm and tres leches looked good on your neck.
@@AnchalMUA what shade did you order? i bought the foundation stick in baklava, and it went a little too warm + deep, i'm wondering if amaretti would be a better option. ugh, so hard with online-orders

I think you would like 330N Butter Pecan. Its lighter than Baklava and its not overly yellow, orange or pink or olive. Beautiful shade. Though you look more pink on camera, so maybe you could go for thise pinker shades. Love this foundation!

I love 400g Machiatto. Its not too warm not too green. I use baklava too sometimes.
Hi 👋, I was in the shade Baklava old formula, so I was sent samples and I tried 320G Tres Leches and omg it looked amazing, my perfect shade, we are the same shade, I think you look to yellow, the foundation oxidises 💜

I think maybe try butter pecan as it’s between tres leches and baklava. You’re literally exact same shade as me in everything and I think butter pecan would be the most ideal x
Ok, you sold me Anchal! Agree with you, that the original formula is great but the Fragrance was so hard to get around, especially since I have sensitive/eczema-prone skin. On my way to Sephora to pick this bad boy up! Hope all is well and thank you for always sharing your talent with us!

Gorgeous as always! I have both baklava and tres leches..I felt like baklava was a tad warm but tres leches washed me out. Lol. I stuck with baklava and it worked with concealer, contour, blush lol.
Hi Anchal I was in the same shade baklava in the OG formula and with this formula I was literally in Sephora like 3 times back and forth to try color Match the right shade🤦🏻♀️ yesterday finally I got butter Pecan 330N and it’s closest match 😅
I had the same issue. In the old one I was butter pecan and in this new one I had to go Up like 3 shades because butter pecan was too dark in the new formula

How would you say this compares to the Estée Lauder Doublewear Foundation?
Estee lauder has natural finish whereas huda faux filter looks like a foundation. You can make no make makeup look with estee lauder, whereas huda faux filter is like you're going to a wedding vibe.
I tried the butter pecan thinking it'd be the closest to the old baklava but it's wayyy too peachy pink. Returning. Ugh.
The swatches are not accurate, took awhile to find ok match. The G is weirdly based. Overall pleased that huda removed all fragrances and added to my collection.

In earlier formula my shade was butter pecan....and now in Luminous matte its way too darker.....how to know my perfect shade??
Would i still buy the same shade like the previous one?
This foundation is overhyped, I bought the original it oxidized so badly even with primer 1 hour latter the color would turn a muddy orange Grey color! The original color chart was not accurate at all and it does not seem the new one is, how is Huda herself the shade Machiatto, it is really dark?! This new foundation will never hold with the Corona mask we are being forced to wear.
Fun-ish Spanish knowledge: The s in tres leches is supposed to be pronounced (Tres means three in Spanish - leches means milks). As for dulce de leche, dulce is pronounced dool-seh.

Love your makeup look Anchal but after how bad of a reaction my skin had to their original foundation, I wouldn’t even risk trying their new one.

On me it was a luminous finish; maybe you are in a colder drier climate. Here its humid and warm, and it never set matte matte
