What's going on with the vacant Jimmy's Family Restaurant building in Chula Vista?

- The old Jimmy’s Family Restaurant on Third Avenue and Oxford Street in Chula Vista has been vacant for years now, creating an eyesore for the community.
Viewers have been reaching out to CBS 8 wanting to know if there are any plans for a new tenant or what the owner plans to do with the building.

I miss that restaurant. They should have got footage of the prices for breakfast, lunch, and dinner on the east side of the building. The veterinarian in that parking lot is the best!
I remember a fish store then. Used to buy my lion fish fresh krill, shrimp, scallops.

Same for old Albertsons building in Eastlake
My then wife an i enjoyed eating there in the 80's.. Breakfast was da bomb.
