The ONE time where we went to JHS and beat an Auburn team like we should have. No clock mistakes, no ref calls on every critical play, no funny bouncing balls, no obscure Auburn player looking like a heisman winner. No Jordan Hare voodoo....Just a great Bama team beating a bad/average Auburn team like they should have.
Yeah, I don't know what it is about JHS, but the place has been a nightmare even when Bama wins.
@@johnmclain8437 I quit going down there after 3 trips & asked before the 2021 game HOW MANY VIRGINS MUST BE SACRIFICED FOR THE TIDE TO WIN AT THAT PLACE? This one was as solid as we ever got there.
RTR
I agree - even that 2015 game got kind of close at one point (until Derrick Henry started running that clock out and running over their defense) - I have been in that stadium a few times (none of those times ended well) - in 2017 I saw every Ghost of former Auburn players on the field in the 2nd while we started rolling the ball to the quarter back instead of snapping it to him in the shotgun - attempted field goals end with out kicker running for his life while trying to throw the ball to God knows who - there is now way Auburn should have won that game in 2017 - then 2019 one defensive back for Auburn has 2 interceptions for TDs with about 180 yards total on the returns - Mack throwing the ball at the back of Najie Harris jersey - I swear Auburn fans were burning candles and doing voo doo that night - once again we can't kick a field goal inside that stadium to save our lives - I will tell anybody, there is something strange that happens inside that stadium during Iron Bowl games - 2013 😯😯😯😯😯smh
@@barneshomestead1240 this is a kind of win I’m hoping for this year hope Alabama and Auburn are 11-0 and we beat them this soundly at Auburn that would be the ultimate justice of 2013. I hope Alabama ends regular season 12-0 Auburn 11-1.
At 50:15: Smelley running over Auburn defenders like they were little boys is a thing of beauty to watch!

That's wonderful
Danielson sure has a way with words 😆😆😆
For 7..... For 7 points...
Remembering of course that Auburn just won the natty the previous year.
Auburn also went on to win their bowl game(Chick-fil-a) vs Virginia. So this was not a bad Auburn football team and to go into their house and blow them out was an accomplishment.
Auburn got blown out by all the top SEC teams that year. Arkansas beat them 38-14, LSU beat them 45-10, Georgia beat them 45-7, and Alabama beat them 42-14. We were fired up to defeat them after the heartbreaking 28-27 loss the previous year, plus we knew we had to win this one for a rematch with LSU in the national championship game.
When you buy a QB that can happen. They got caught with that too. I had the pdf from ‘the fire on the plains.’ A bank got closed down. Been a long time since I read all that. I knew some inside people who dug that deal out.
This was a great revenge win after the Scamback in 2010. Interesting observation: Gary compares Trent's run @ 2:11:32 to Cam Newton's TD run vs LSU in 2010. He would go on to compare the Derrick Henry 69 yard TD run vs Miss St in 2015 to that same Cam Newton run. He also has the same reaction to Derrick's stiff arm as he does with Trent's in this video. "Oh my GOODNESS!" Unfortunately, Trent was the only one of the 3 that didn't get the Heisman, though he was a finalist.
As one famous Finebaum show caller said...WE MADE A NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP SANDWICH OUT OF THEM! BAMA 2009 AU 2010 BAMA 2011 & 2012.
Yes, and I was very, very happy about this one.
I don't know how Trent Richardson didn't win the Heisman
Roll tide
This game was 5 years ago and Vern's senility is already evident. He can't find the ball as play develops. He should have left broadcasting a long time ago.
nothing is funner than watching auburn get beat
Then u must be laughing a lot because I’m just saying
Especially by Bama at Jordan-Hare Stadium.
Loved Saban boohooing when Gus Mahlzhan tricked him by putting his kicker on the field in another position. Realizing this too late Sabans team was penalized for having the wrong men on the field. Auburn wins.
Loved Sabans crying when Chris Davis last second run wins the game for Auburn
Yep lol 😂😂😂😂
Next time we play there, we need to just say "we're not going to let the noise of the crowd get to us, and we will not be intimidated. We will block at the line of scrimmage and keep AU's defense off balance. We will get the crowd out of it."
Cool win for the Tide. rTr
It must have been demoralizing to th barners, you win a fluke ironbowl in 2010 by 1 point against Alabamas worst team of the decade. And in 2011 and 2012 you get drilled by 2 of Alabamas best teams.Roll Tide, how you like us now.
This past Saturday wasn't the first time Auburn had their QB punt it.
Ahhhh... The sweet smell of beating The Tigers at Auburn :D
Richardson was near unstoppable. Even if you hit him, he'd keep going and would just drag guys. Sadly, he was really only able to do that against college defenses. Once he hit the NFL, you need vision to avoid those defenders entirely as you can't just bulldoze grown men.
Auburn didn't even score an offensive touchdown in this game. They scored a defensive touchdown and a special teams touchdown.
pretty cool seeing game updates from guys now in the league, like Russ at 1:05:59
Men beating the hell out of boy's
@1:20:19 which is 14:45 in the 3rd Auburn had 1 first down with 14 points... what an odd stat
these last ten years have been utterly hell for auburn and while the alabama crimson tide got to sit on the throne like gods and its not fair, lets go back to the 2010 college football season. well cam newton and company were running the table and then that years ironbowl came and at halftime alabama had a 20 point something lead and after halftime cam newton lead a comeback a camback if you will and auburn wins 28 to 27 over alabama and after that years ironbowl i go to bed and i have the most awesomest dream ever that the year was 2020 and alabama had not beat auburn since 2010 and alabama loses the 2020 ironbowl and a year later 2021 the state of alabama took a vote and auburn wins the vote and all of the alabama fans are forced to say war eagle and anything alabama crimson tide related is buried, burned and forgotten and tuscaloosca became a north auburn and auburn became a south auburn and the ironbowl ceased to exist and we even changed the name of the state of alabama to the state of auburn all you heard was war eagle up and down the state we even replaced the red x on a white background flag with the orange and blue a.u logo flag and we all lived happily in a newly reformed state and that was my dream and none of you alabama fans couldn't stop it from happening or so it seemed because the very next morning i woke up from my most awesomest dream ever to the worst possible news that a evil demon from hell basically tuscaloosca named harvey updyke had poisoned toomers corner and that was the day that my dream died because the next thing i know auburn is suffering in the firey pits of hell and while the alabama crimson tide is sitting on the throne like gods. wtf? wtf did auburn ever do to deserve this punishment? tell me? loss after loss after loss. and while alabama gets the championship gold. this isn't fair, this is complete and utter nightmare, its gotten so bad for me that i have been throwing things at my wall and flipping over my table and people ask me if i'm ok,no i am not ok,i'm not feeling well not mentally nor physically,i can't take it anymore the alabama crimson tide can kiss my auburn tiger a**, to hell with you cheaters who are paid to cheat and so are the refs and its all harvey updykes fault because cheaters never win and when harvey updyke passed away in 2021 it was the best day ever,i partied and cheered that he died because i will never forgive him for causing the downfall of the auburn tigers because he himself said he wasn't sorry nor did he care when he went to the paul finebaum show and admitted that he did it so yeah i'm glad that harvey updyke died back in 2021 and when he died the curse should have died with him and letting the auburn tigers rise and become the national champions and letting my dream come true in the 2020's along with my dream coming true as well but no the curse still persists to this day and i am so sick and tired of it. wtf did auburn ever do to deserve this punishment?
You see Dreams show you to be wrong cause from 2010 -2022 Auburn won I think 3 of 13 so as always you suck hind teat .
@@snuffysmith6842 f*** the alabam crimson tide,f*** tuscaloosca,f*** nick satan(saban) and most of all f*** harvey updyke for putting this curse on the auburn tigers even death f*** harvey updyke i will never forgive him because what he did was heartless and cruel.
This Alabama win was so sweet, because of the scam newton bs the year before.
I’m an auburn fan and they won that national title fair and square even though they found Cecil Newton guilty the NCAA still let Cam play
Why are auburn's ironbowl wins flukes.I mean every time they win it's by miracle, when Alabama usually wins by astronomical scores blowouts mmmmm.
Sometimes it be by the benefits that the referees offer
Sometimes it’s just auburn outplays Alabama
@@jakebuchsbaum3348 Only when a fluke play occurs.
@@cherylcopes04 Homecooking! Last year, they tackled Jamison Williams while he was trying to catch the ball, clear-cut pass interference. But they called us for a pass interference the next series. It was still sweet to show up out of nowhere and carry them to 4 overtimes and beat them, especially when some were already on their way to Toomers Corner with TP.
@@jakebuchsbaum3348 In 2017, that was the only time.
Like this year, Georgia had one lone loss to South Carolina.
Team light, light it up!
The 2010 football season was "a very good year" for Cam Newton and AU. I had always really liked football; but; experiencing Cam Newton's game, made me love it. Now that Cam took his game to an even higher level in the NFL, I crave football all spring and summer--just waiting for the start of the season for Cam & Company. Cam's QB-game is magnetic!
Scam Newton you mean lol...
Scam Newton also studied the Alabama Crimson Tide's play book's on the the laptop he stolen before the halftime started in the 2010 iron bowl game.
@@Fultonfalcons86 The claim of a loser.
@@cherylcopes04 Cam had fun in that game.
Auburn PAYED for scam Newton 😂😂
Trent Richardson got robbed for the Heisman Trophy - RG3 lost 3 games and did not come close to taking his team to the Natty - I also believe that Amari Cooper was most unstoppable player in the 2014 season - plus he played in the tuffest conference and the kid from Oregon played against (nobody) in the Pac12 - and Tua should have won the Heisman in 2018 - Murray was good player but Tua was on a different planet throwing that ball around (and he won the head to head matchup against Murray) - the NCAA needs to send those 3 trophies to Tuscaloosa ASAP
You are wrong about Marcus Mariota. Oregon beat 5 ranked opponents that year including a blow out win vs Florida state in the playoffs.
Mariota did not have one WR that year who was ever drafted by an NFL team. Tua played with 4 first rd draft picks.
@@joeblow2069 you comparing (a quarterback playing in the PAC 12 that plays defense like a Pee Wee League) to (playing in the SEC) - obviously you don't know anything about College Football - do you realize that Florida State struggled the entire regular season in 2014 but were able to win in a weak ACC - do you remember Florida State being ranked under Alabama even though they were undefeated - the playoffs committee didn't even want Florida State in the playoffs that year and they were undefeated 🤔🤔 - Florida State was weak as hell in 2014 so don't mention anything that Marcus did against Florida State (that doesn't help your case at all buddy) - now put Amari Cooper in the PAC 12 in 2014 😲 he would have doubled his stats, especially if he had a true quarterback - Blake Sims was a running back at Bama and played quarterback in 2014 - this guy was throwing the ball to one receiver all year - the opponents defense already knew where the ball was going and still could not stop Amari Cooper in 2014 - so you definitely did not pay attention to what was going on in the weak ass PAC 12 or the weak ass ACC or in the SEC in 2014 - I can't believe that you even mentioned Florida State 🤣🤣🤣 2014 Florida State football is the worst team to ever go undefeated through a regular season (but don't believe me, go back and do your research) - and I am a die hard Bama fan but I love college football, so I pay attention to what is going on in the ACC, PAC12, Big12, Big10, and whatever schools tries to pop their head out of the group of 5 - (Marcus and PAC12 vs Amari and SEC) 🤔 I think I know who had to deal with going up against the more elite defenses - Amari had to go into Death Valley that year , he dropped about 200 yards in Knoxville before halftime 😲 dude had over 210 yards in Iron Bowl - Marcus did not have to face the competition that Amari faced (no where close to the same level of competition)
We gonna ignore the fact that Arkansas was number 3?
Yes.
Yes we are
Games over and the cow college still sucks
Cam the Scam can't save helpless Awwburn anymore lol.......That was easier than my first GF and that is saying something lol
