I truly enjoy watching these old games. It still aggravates me how the commentators overstep their mandate. Who cares what they disagree with. That's not what they there for. They are there to call the game. Today they are even worse about telling us what should happen. Like they know more than the coaches or the players. Ridiculous. RTR

@@grahamfam03 in both of Bowden's NC years, he beat Miami and FL teams with 9 or more wins. Saban does not have ONE number 1 ranking and a win against a nine win Auburn team in the same year. 0-8 lifetime.
Please name another, cough, great coach with such a dubious record.
@@grahamfam03 Historically, AL's biggest threats year in and and year out have come while playing either TN and/or LSU and/or AU.
Saban never faced the quality of those 3 opponents combined in ANY one year that Shula faced all four of his years. NEVER.

@@grahamfam03 In short, history will have it, the 2023 CFP bumped FSU from the 4 team playoff because the CFP did not think an FSU team with a 2nd or 3rd string (at the time it was unknown which would play in the playoffs) would be good football. Every football fan, except FSU fans, thought that was a good decision.

2009 will always be a questioned NC, as it should be. All of Saban's NC should be questioned, except 2015.
