Blade Dancer: Lineage of Light, released in Japan as Blade Dancer: Thousand-year Promise (ブレイドダンサー 千年の約束 Bureido Dansā Sennen no Yakusoku?), is a video game made exclusively for the PlayStation Portable. It is a turn-based role-playing video game in which players take on the role of the boy Lance who must save the world with the help of his friends.
Enhanced graphics with emulator PPSSPP.For recording I used a Live Gamer HD Capture Card (no FPS Drops).

@@ahlbiurgaid61 there's no way you jist commented 2 hours ago xD. Anyways it gets really good after you defeat the dark knight, the skulls at the start turn blue and they run towards each other and unite as one creating new bosses and evolved creatures to fight

What filter settings are you using to get this?
I remember I farmed a lot of levels, making strong weapons, until I could almost oneshot even the stronger enemies. Then I changed region in the story mode and even the weakest enemies could oneshot me. At some point I couldn’t go on and I couldn’t even go back, so I stopped playing.

The gane is an RPG but kinda like Pokemon with the evolution mechanics. the only pain that everyone including me experience is the running mechanism, since you will be running from town to town and he moves quite slow. Unless you download it from a Hacked PSP and you have the blessing of "Turbo mode" that makes the game go faster.
anyways, so in the game the more stronger you get, the Skulls/ enemies run from you. once you get more stronger than the skulls in one area the skulls will turn blue 🔵, they will see you and run towards other skulls to evolve into the boss of that "Area" the boss can be evolved 3 times into a bigger and stronger difficulty. the bigger the evolution the bigger the rewards and XP. but that only starts happening after you defeat the dark night in the great tower. he is really though to beat. now there is a Money glitch in the game that can help you buy everything you want and always be prepared for strong enemies and bosses. here is the glitch. 👇

*At about level 10 after Gozen joins your group and you defeat the demon wolf, go to the crafting store in the Jade City. Buy Hardbone Hilts and Steel Blades and make some Sabers. You do not need the recipe, as the ingredients are as mentioned. Combine the Hardbone Hilts (150 gold) with the Steel Blades (300 gold). The created Saber can be sold for 1,000 gold, giving your a 550 gold profit. If you do it on a large scale, you can make a large amount of gold quickly. Save the game often. If it fails to craft, you will only lose the cheaper Hardbone Hilt. Also, once you make one Saber, the recipe is automatically added and do not have to select the ingredients constantly.*

Now, without that glitch or fighting bosses every now and then it takes quite long to get to the end since the game is designed to make you level up since you will feel you hit a wall every now and then with really OP bosses. and by the end of the game i remember i almost always have my characters with 500+ HP and a ton of *LUNA* wich is what the magic bar is called. you fill that magic bar doing missions to MPCs in the cities. some are delivering food or items others are fighting very tough bosses or traitors.
you can get the game for Android easy with a PSP emulator.
Or you can buy it on a PSP3000, or PS Vita wich is where i have it now. it costs 10$
Thanks for the info. Was just checking given ps plus premium which yeah buy for a year if there are 3 games you like given stealth releases are crazy let alone now it has day 1 stuff like tchia and humanity while costing less than Xbox game pass that only has monthly.
@@MrVariant this is why i buy ps plus premuim a year. its only $119 a year so once a new year starts you should have enough to renew again. i do understand some people cant afford this.

I already got 3 games within a couple of months added lol sackboy, kena, and horizon forbidden west, and I feel only sackboy with plushy was the only one worth full price. They added ratchet and clank rift apart as well. Will compare a lot below with PS Plus, and thanks for your commentary.
But yes $120 premium is better (demos, cloud and psp/ps1 games though I don't mind buying 1 or 2 when on sale) than $100 extra, which is useless at $40 more than $60 essentials (which was crazy how sackboy was a monthly game that moved up to extra, and they bumped up the ps plus collection to extra except call of duty they fight xbox on). Rewards/PS Plus sale exclusive discounts are the same at each tier as well. I'll probably upgrade to premium on the last month of my annual subscriptions as a discount, like I did when I tried it out for a month.
Funny how one could say PS Plus Premium = Essential > Plus > two $70 games. Glad PS credit card help pays for it with cashback but it takes forever to get their promotion ($125 boring credit over rewards games in $75 though the $50 gift card was a pointless add on as it is not done at the same time at $75 where I got rtype final 3 and spongebob cosmic chaos, though paying $5 for shipping sucks though at least you can add your money to purchase, as I did $25 there, and could also get merch, Sony t-shirt is cool or instant digital gift cards if i dont want to pay shipping).

the overall design is just bad, even for a PSP game. just look at those bland landscapes... there's not much creativity here, woulda been much better if they styled it in a 2d format like the older FF games.
The battle system and multiplayer were pretty cool though.

God I hated this game. Look how lazy they were with the visuals, they honestly couldn't have a low frame animation for enemies and partymembers running across the field at eachother?

Also, you can use one very simple and affordable cable to output PSP video and audio to a modern TV, which I do, to an awesome 50-inch HDTV, and the results are glorious. Fuck your emulators. They can "emulate" all you want, but never imitate console magic. Asshole.
