Dragoneer's Aria is an RPG for the PlayStation Portable, developed by Hit Maker and published by Nippon Ichi Software. It was released in North America on August 21, 2007, and was released as Dragoneer's Aria: Ryū ga Nemuru Made (ドラグナーズアリア 竜が眠るまで, lit. "Dragoneer's Aria: Until the Dragon Sleeps") in Japan on August 23, 2007.

God i miss this game but i have to give it credit for how utterly broken the levelling system is.
Surprisingly its possible to get semi stuck in late game if you're not careful due to levelling system being broken. (Enemy exp scales inversely proportional to the strongest party member, whether they are active or not). The irony is this is done to prevent you from overlevelling your party too early. Basically if you overlevel one party member, the rest will receive scraps until they level up to the appropriate level...which you cant do because the game actively prevents you from farming exp.
This is only the tip though because behold how the system proceeds to dock you balls deep...any new party members you receive are now underlevelled and cannot level up not only due to the strongest party member but because they cannot even defend themselves without him.
But wait...theres more, since you are forced to use the overlevelled character he hogs all the exp meant to help the underlevelled characters, further growing the gap.
For most of the game...this isnt an issue. Your character is likely strong enough to solo most monsters.
Except the final boss. Yes...you do not realise you are stuck until you reach the final boss, incresible. Because he will one shot your underlevelled party members and then focus all his attacks on you.
He cant one shot you but he will hit hard. So now you have to juggle attacking, healing, defending and items. This now becomes an uphill battle of attrition, you can heal to stay alive after every attack but you cant retaliate because if he attacks twice...you're not getting that health back.
You cannot win and you cannot go back and grind because exp is now miniscule to the point of being useless.

I know that this game is not very good or noteworthy but it was the single PSP RPG game that I was most interested to play leading up to buying the system! I found the difficulty fun and thought the graphics were amazing especially when you think about other portable RPGs at the time

Yo soy muy bueno en los rpg tanto asi que los souls 🥱 , pero este juego tiene un fallo y es que en cierto punto no se puede avanzar por que no hay modo de subir de nivel y te matan o al menos a mi me aburrio bastante

This is the worst rpg game that ever came out on the psp, probably in any other handheld or console too, it's that bad, you have to try it to really know how bad it is
This game was so bad i bought it in 2007 and only played it in 2013.
Strangely though, I still love it
@@krimsonk-9478 it's broken in so many ways, and none in a good way, even rpgs from the super Nintendo have better systems
But yeah kid me liked the way UI looked but the field monsters were infinitely annoying, and the way I have to grind at least 5 levels to every single monster just to barely handle the next one was ridiculous
