Jason Kidd definitely loved his family especially when he beat his wife.
Doc Rivers and Dennis Johnson had interesting free throw shooting rituals.
Doc would do a knee bend squat right before shooting and DJ would bounce the ball with his left hand while wiping his forehead with his right wrist band. Then rotate the ball several times before shooting.
5:00 Isn't that 4 strokes?
exacly I thin either nba insider fucked up or jeff did it wrong or he is hiding 1 kid from his wife
Ikr
He has 4 kids????? (Illuminate)
One for his girlfirend...
Maybe one for his wife
You forgot about Adrian Dantley he use to make love towards the basketball before shooting up a free throw 😄.
Steve Nash's face is so scary....
🤣
Why was there a random Westbrook pic at 9:05
Michael Dwight
Because it’s a picture of someone laughing and he mentioned laughing.
Oh wow. NBA Insider is still alive.
TLB 2K no he's not.. This was a repost
The Black Mamba No it's not. Ur getting it mixed up with the weirdest pre game rituals.
Harold Miner. That guy had some insane free throw rituals

Samuel Andoh was gucci
HOW CAN YOU FORGET CHUCK HAYES????
ricky Hayes is by far the weirdest free throw shooter.
Lol
You forgot Hal Greer of the Sixers who, whenever taking a foul shot, would shoot it like a jump shot!
5:47
'...aside from keeping his family in line...'
WHAT!??! *goes back 5 seconds
'...aside from keeping his family in mind...'
OH!
(True story lol)
Great vid NBA Insider
at the Start of Wilts basketball career was an ok ft shooter, you can tell he didnt practice it much, he changed his routine up quite a few times. Classic case of over-thinking
Rolando Blackmon feet in line one foot in front of the other, Dennis Johnson 1 dribble for every year that he's in the league, Cornbread Maxwell - make believe, practice free throw, Adrian Dantley massage the ball.
How about Mark Jackson / Bill Cartwright / Chuck Hayes / Anthony Mason /Kevin Durant / Brook Lopez / Michael Adams / Steph Curry / Markelle Fultz / Shaquille & jermaine O'Neal ?
the first guy jumped
Hold Up, Don Nelson...That’s A Jump Shot!! 😂😂
I have Rick Barry's free throw on 2k
Cool
I have his free throw as a jumpshot in real life, its animation is broken but the release is pretty weird and its easy to block so idk if its that good.
How can you jump at the free throw line 😐
Bend your knees and then push off the floor with your legs
@@dalekelly7639 bruh lmao
@@dalekelly7639 hahaha
Shark Boy Jr. yes
You're allowed to. You just can't pass the line.
Hornacek apparently had an extra kid out there somewhere. That looked like 4 WIPES.
😂😂😂
You forgot Adrian Dantley's grip before shooting the ball.
You did not include the unforgettable free throw of Jamaal Wilkes of the LA Lakers...
Bill carwright had a weird one
@NBA Insider
Wilt Chamberlain actually never attempted dunking his free-throws in a game situation.
Wilt Chamberlain stated himself and, furthermore, Tex Winters described how Wilt Chamberlain was doing it in practice... just like Ralph Sampson did it in the all-star game a few years ago. The video is available on CZcams.
Great video as usual.
That's a real insider video there.
I'm about to blow a first comment lead
Can I get a ticket to my life because that’s a comedy show... XD
dope channel
I really love the intro after "welcome to NBA Insider"
Michael Jordan in the first season or two seasons of his career shot about a foot behind the free-throw line. Not because he was super confident, but because he felt more comfortable in that spot than he did at the line.
Hornacek face is epic bruh 😂😂😂
Patrick Ewing used to up- fake his free throw to try to get the opponents to cross the line early. Then it just became ritual and everyone knew it was coming. Another player, back in the eighties or early nineties, used to pinch his fingers on his shooting hand and point them at the basket. Like trying to pinpoint his shot. Quite odd. If anyone knows his name, let me know.
Mark Jackson
I saw that game where Hank Gathers passed away. Truly sad.......
you should make a vid on how abdul-rauf is ballin in the big 3
"Gregory" Kimble and Hank "Gaithers"? C'mon man...
Been here since 500 subs

No Mark Jackson...WTF!!!
1 month without a new video from you and it's felt like a year to be honest. Please come back.
I miss the old NBA insider intro, the old NBA, and the old 🐍
Where do u get these videos
Rip Jason Kidd man, no more coaching job, no more wife, paying shit ton of child support 🙏
Damn I had no idea that man died in the middle of a tournament
9:30 what kind of games of horse do u play
Bro.. That 1st Nelson guy looks like a younger version of coach Nelson that coached the Warriors
I subbed
10:32 man clearly misses the sport
What? No Mark Jackson? Check out his free throws.
Hal Greer of the Philly 76ers shot a jump shot at the FT line.
You posted this a while ago, or I saw someone else's video on this
9:30. This guy is the real life Jackie Moon.
you should have included Anthony Mason, he balanced the ball on his left hand, kinda like Don Nelson.
Hi dude love ur vids what do u think about the Avery Bradley trade
2:07😂😂😂
No Wilt. We cannot let it slide. You needed to make the free throws when it counted.
Dang if i went back in time and played for the nba i would be moving and playing like Kobe and Jordan
I just watched a video about Free Throws. Definitive proof that I have no life
Rick Barry is pretty chill
Jumpshot Free Throw master Don Nelson
I feel dirty i was laughing at jason kid
these are really weird...really
Do a video on the NBA lockout in 2011
Bro where you at?! We miss your content!!
What's the opening song\ instrumental? I love it, 2pac?? Is it even a song lol
What beat is it from the intro? Whats it called
My ritual when I shoot free throws is miss every single shot.
Who here since 1k ???
I bet nba insider won't answer this comment
your right, he probably wont
NBA Insider !!!!!!!
Ischmael Brown hahaha you're wrong, he did reply!
Holy shit it's NBA Insider!!
When you reach 200k subs can u do a face reveal
Jason Kidd had the weirdest free throw ritual of all time😀😉
DENNIS RODMAN the throw it up half a 1/10th of a second after the ref handed it to him I could care less about free throws free throw shot. It's not really a routine but if your gonna have nick van axle on there for standing 3 feet from the free throw line then you gotta have the worm. thank you
How about a rule for bad free throw shooters, namely the bigs. Instead of 2 shots you get 1 but you can cross the line, must stay in the top of the key semicircle, and no rebound. The opposing team just inbounds after the try.
jonnybaze why?
Logan Noonan to prevent excessive fouling of big men that can't shoot i.e. Hack a shaq.
Yes
add Deandre Jordan's new ritual which made him a 70+% freethrow shooter
He is saying oh baby oh baby
Jerry Stackhouse would almost sit down before his free throw.
Wow, makes you wonder why hack-a-Wilt wasn't a thing.
Dirk shot like 90% from the line and you put in a rare miss.
Is it just me or does Jason kidd look like a less buff and more skinny version of stone cold Steve Austin
Don Nelson looks hella sus shooting those free throws.
At 5:00 I counted four swipes
Hornacek would incur a free throw violation if he had 10 children instead of 3 😆😲🤔
karl malone.. cmon baby.. cmon boy..
Wow I got here within 1 minute.
What is so weird about Richard Hamilton’s free throws routine?
What happened to James Hardy III? May he R.I.P. with justice.
Everybody hated Rick Barry. He was one of those pieces of trash who genuinely did not give a crap what anybody thought of him. That allowed him to shoot granny style and not care.
I think Wilt's arms were just TOO LONG. He always shot at an awkward angle.
Bo outlaw? Anthony Mason?
Missed Adrian Dantley routine
Kidd actually shoots 79% from the free throw line in his career
