Hi, just a little nugget of experience. We use a larger version of the blue light big zapper. We noticed when we put it by a window it actually attracts bugs to the window! If you want to get the bugs from inside your van, place it someplace that is dark away from windows. That way it will attract the ones inside not bring more to the window. Hope that helps!

Your gray water tank smells because you drained broccoli water in it and that can make it really ripe smelling- in the future, just save the water to a bottle and pour it in the grass somewhere another time- it's good for the grass and good for no gray water odor. Really enjoy your channel and keep up the fun!

I just wanted to share my secret for keeping tank oder under control. I put a good amount of dishwasher liquid and water (10 gallons or more). I then drive around a good bit (which shouldn’t be a problem for you). Then dump immediately after a drive. The amount of grease and gunk that comes out will surprise you!!! Safe travels!! Use the tablets between treatment to maintain order control, but they do little to get rid of the source - grease. I use in black tank as well.
Look up the Geo method works great for black & grey tanks it’s 1 cup dawn 1 cup Calgon softener found at Walmart 5/10 gal mix. I would also consider this prior to winterizing. Xoxo ❤❤❤
If you don’t mind some advice, I wouldn’t place the bug zapper over your head when you’re sleeping. As you stated, the bugs are drawn to the light, so place it away from where you are. Maybe in the cockpit or on the floor near the sliding door, but NOT in your kitchen or bedroom. This is the same methodology used with backyard bug zappers, place it away from you and the bugs will be drawn away. Good luck!
I must admit, your rug is perfect for your van! I love it. You keep such an orderly, clean home and that’s very inspiring. That little bug zapper is the bomb! I’ve never seen one before. It’s perfect for your space. Don’t worry about not filming each step of your cooking, you were tired and needed some rest. And you made it clear to us how you did it. Rest well.
Happy Camper is the best tank treatment I have used. I use it every time I dump my tank. Another thing you can do is pour a bottle of Pine-sol in the tank. Please let us know how the tablets work for you. Another great video.
We used those same tabs for the drains in our travel trailer and they worked great! We also used the Fresh Cab along with Bounce dryer sheets when we closed it up for the winter and never had a rodent problem in our camper.
The best tank deodorizer I have found is called Happy Camper. I get it on Amazon. I've tried several things, but have now been using this for the last three years without an odor issue. We use it in both our gray and black tanks - no odor and no chemical smell!

I started watching these videos because I've been interested in van/rv travel and wanted to see everyone's different experiences. I think if you're considering a campground membership but aren't sure when or where you'll be venturing off next, it would probably be better to look at KOA or other nationwide options rather than I private campground, unless they have other locations that won't limit using your membership. Have you ever tried Dale's steak marinade? It's delicious. I love when you share your recipes because even though I do eat meat I also love meat free recipes too. I have very bad digestive issues and sometimes digesting meat is impossible for me and I use your recipes so I can still have delicious food. Thank you for sharing ❤️

You might consider creating a bigger P-trap in your sink… If the smell is coming up through it means that there is not enough “retained” water blocking the smells coming up

It’s a great way to get in some living foods for ex: plant based milk, sprinkle of oats, cashew or walnuts, banana, some of that honey & hemp seeds you bought and blend it up. It gives your digestive system a bit of a break. I dunno what I’d do without it I make everything in it. Thanks for such a generously long video xoxo💐

For me, I use tomato paste in the tube, throw in my veggie choices (zucchini, tomatoes, onions, garlic whatever) add water like 1/2 cup at a time cuz it thickens and wallah you’ve made your own sauce…great for controlling salt intake from processed food.
I'm still catching up on videos so I'm watching on Martin Luther King's holiday. I worked today and we all had to do a deep cleaning afterwards of the place. I'm sore now, tomorrow we're all going to moving slow. It was a good day though, felt pride we all pulled together and buffed the place up. Again the food looks yummy.

💐 Aren’t we the luckiest subscribers y’all ☺️. I too love making dishes with walnuts & lentils too. It makes a grrrreat spaghetti!!! Ever thought of getting a NUTRIBULLET to blend up some shakes? It’s a great way to get in some living foods for ex: plant based milk, sprinkle of oats, cashew or walnuts, banana, some of that honey & hemp seeds you bought and blend it up. It gives your digestive system a bit of a break. I dunno what I’d do without it I make everything in it. Thanks for such a generously long video xoxo💐

@@tarabentley1704 yep same process just add sauce. For me, I use tomato paste in the tube, throw in my veggie choices (zucchini, tomatoes, onions, garlic whatever) add water like 1/2 cup at a time cuz it thickens and wallah you’ve made your own sauce…great for controlling salt intake from processed food.
I'm still catching up on videos so I'm watching on Martin Luther King's holiday. I worked today and we all had to do a deep cleaning afterwards of the place. I'm sore now, tomorrow we're all going to moving slow. It was a good day though, felt pride we all pulled together and buffed the place up. Again the food looks yummy.
It’s so crazy that I came across your videos this morning and has been binging on them all day. But the whole time kept wondering where your are from because you remind me greatly of my good friend Ruby. It’s uncanny how physically you both look. When you stated you were going to the camp ground here in Michigan I almost tripped out.
The best gray tank treatment we’ve found is Happy Camper. Works way better than the lemon scented deodorizer pods from the rv store.

Another van life channel I watch are members of Harvest Host and a few others (names escape me). There’s also a website to purchase memberships that people don’t want any longer. You buy the time left on their commitment. Could be cheaper and for shorter time. Good luck!
