Generals is alright, but It's hardly a Command & Conquer game. The best Command & Conquer game that is bound to the original mechanics of C&C is in my opinion, Tiberian Sun.
Call me anything whatever you want but I like the idea of Crawler. CnC 4 might have been a good game if EA did not rush it and give a decent story and better graphics
I bought the entire C&C game bundle for cheap and just finished kanes wrath and C&C RA3. So while installing C&C 4 I thought lets check out the gameplay, I hope this is not actual gameplay footage, it looks terrible.
Because the old C&C gameplay was ALOT better, EA turned the whole game's legacy and concept into shit. Anyway, i'm sure you went and bought the game by now. So i'll ask this: have you even looked into the older C&C games and maybe played them? If so, which game(s) feel(s) better? C&C Tiberian Dawn/Sun/Wars or this... empty shell of a C&C game?
Music was alright some times Unit design was stupid Gameplay design, stupid Balance, so stupid Maps, very stupid Graphics, horribly stupid Campaign, unbearably stupid Worst game I have ever played

After all these years, it actually looks worse than i remember. Hard to imagine they went from C&C3 (visually stunny with a greate story) to this.
