- Mount Spokane State Park is located in Mead, Washington. Thats about 45 minutes northeast of Spokane. In this video we give you a great visitors guide and all the things there are to do in this beautiful over 12,000-acre state park. This was day 7 of our road trip from Florida to Vancouver Canada where we get on a cruise ship and sail the inside passage of Alaska.
Day miles were 385 mi/619km
7.5 miles of drive time.
1st stop was here at Milltown State Park
2nd stop was a Mt. Spokane State Park in Washington (next video)
Total trip miles so far 3,022mi/4,863km

I bet you can't. Thats crazy to us that your still experiencing winter storms :( We have been swimming in our pool since March! We hardly get a winter, wish we did, maybe not a long winter, but I would like a change in temperature, this is why like traveling in the fall, so we can escape the heat...

Morning Melissa this place is gorgeous and the views all around are stunning. Interesting to hear some history around here of the men who liv3d in tents and shelters and built the trails here. Would be great to ski there and see some wildlife . Great tour 👏~ Anna

Hi Melissa! That really is a gorgeous state park and pretty cool that it turns into a ski area during the winter months. The camping season there is really short however, but the campground looked nice. Loved seeing all of the views from the top of Mount Spokane. ~ Anita 😊👍

We haven’t spent much time in Washington. Looking forward to visiting. Sounds like they have a ton of trails. Loved the views. They were amazing. The prairie dogs were so cute.
We haven't either, this is my husband and I 2nd time, first time with the kiddos though and we really enjoyed it. Such a beautiful state, especially when you stay out of the cities ;)
We haven't visited Washington state, yet. That's one of the few states left that we need to visit. Sure is some pretty scenery there. It's a bit of a long drive. Really wish we would have stopped there when we went to Oregon. Was silly not to. Oh well. Gives us another trip to take. This does look like a great state park. Thanks for sharing.

That is very close to where I grew up. Go straight north, and it is just across the Canada border. We pass through Spokane all the time on our way to Canada. It’s pronounced Spo-KAN, not Kane. Nice video and great view from the mountain top.
