- Sun Lakes Dry Falls State Park is located in Coulee City, Washington. Thats 3 hours east of Seattle. In this video we give you a complete overview of the park and what there is to do here. Located in the unique yet beautiful Scablands of Washington.
(scab·lands /ˈskablandz/ noun: GEOLOGY
flat elevated land deeply scarred by channels of glacial or fluvioglacial origin and with poor soil and little vegetation, especially in the Columbia Plateau of Washington State.)

This was day 8 of our road trip from FL to Vancouver, Canada where we get on a cruise ship and sail the inside passage of Alaska.
Day 8: 217miles/349km Total drive time 4 hours
Started our day in Spokane Valley, Washington, drove 2 hours to Sun Lakes Dry Falls State Park, then drove 2 hours to Winthrop, Wa.
Total Trip miles so far: 2,409m/3,876km

Yes, your terrane really changed. What a great state park and I learned a new geographical term- Cooley (sp) 😂. Sounds like lots to do. We haven’t spent much time in Washington. Hopefully someday, and we will keep this park in mind. Geocaching is fun. Nice trails.

Nice dirt devil catch. The coulee is a pretty area. Wow! that's a pretty steep day use fee price for a state park. Ah nice that they have a campground! Fudge shop? I'd definitely be hitting that 😆 I bet it's for sure packed in the summer time. Never done the geo cache thing. I do like an easy trail. I'd probably hike that one. Looks like it would be great for photo opps. Well I'm not a fan of stairs, but that sure is a great view from the caves. So I'd probably go ahead and take the hike. Sure is a great trip!
Thanks friends, yeah Montana and Washington have steep State park prices, I like the free ones haha but everything out west is usually more expensive... I think yall would love this place, the fudge shop does sound so good :)
