- Long overdue, but it’s finally here. The double Road Agent’s Spin performed by Clint Eastwood in the movie The Outlaw Josey Wales. We’ve briefly covered the spin on the channel, but this is trying to replicate the scene in the film to the best of our abilities. Plus it’s always great to do anything regarding Clint Eastwood. Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery after all!
Enjoy!

One of the most iconic gun tricks in the Old West. Well done, amigo.
I hope I did it well! Thank you, Santee!
@@SaintAndrewTV Yep. It's one of those tricks that you basically have to re-learn with different gun models. Based on the weight and that momentum-maneuver.
@@ArizonaGhostriders right! Still don’t know how Clint Eastwood rolled 2 Colt Walkers. I’m not strong enough for that! Haha!
@@SaintAndrewTV I think a gun coach actually did that part, but not certain.
@ArizonaGhostriders well then that person is stronger than me as well!
Yeah, when this movie was released on TV I could not believe how fast that scene was.
No kidding. And with Colt Walkers no less.
It appears as though the footage is actually sped up in the film.
It’s a shame, because even as an amateur I was able to do a two handed road agent spin with cocking the hammer in less than 1 second.
I have a pair of 1873 Colt SingleAction Army Revolvers (Dennix) non firing replicas . Working on learning trick gun spinning and the like... The Road Agent spin is one of many I hope to notch on my gun 😉 Thanks, SaintAndrew for sharing ! ✌🏼
Appreciate you for watching!
Awesome to hear that buddy. Denix is a great brand. I’ve been spinning my SAA’s from them for a few years now and they’ve been awesome!
@@Rodgerwilco91 Yes, I'm certainly enjoying mine ... 😉.
Whenever people think of the road agent spin they always say you cant do it with a modern semi auto pistol and they're right to a degree. In my experience the best pistol to do this trick with is a Taurus G2C they're heavy enough and practical to do this with though you do a alternate spin by flipping the pistol forward with the grip as the means to do so
I’m sure that you can spin them! I have before! Just make sure it’s unloaded!
Absolutly magic. Great Performance. Please more...
Thank you, friend!
You da man Brother,,,,another classic show....
Thank you kindly, friend!
I've learned lot from your guns spin videos partner using my 1911, colt single action is not available in our country🇵🇭 hats off partner 🐎🐴🤠🐄 eeehaaa 👍
Appreciate it my friend!
Wow! You just wow!!
One of my favorite movies and scenes!
Both fantastic!
You should do try it with a pair of Walkers.
I don’t think I possess enough muscle in my arms! Lol
Great video man. I’ve been gun spinning for a couple years now, but I’m trying to build up my overall confidence to start making videos.
Do it my friend! We all have to start somewhere! Wasn’t that long ago that I was in your shoes!
@@SaintAndrewTV thank you for your words of encouragement. I truly appreciate it.
@@Rodgerwilco91 anytime my friend, anytime!
Josey Wales (Clint Eastwood) didn't have his guns in the Calvary position. They were in the classic TV Cowboy position
Not to be “that guy” but the word you’re looking for is “Cavalry”… Calvary is something completely different.
Not to be that OTHER guy but he stated in the video before hand he was wearing his in the Cavalry position to make the start of the trick easier for demonstration. He acknowledges in the movie they were not in that position in Clint's holster. It helps when you pay attention...
Nice job parf
Thank you friend!
Did Josey Wales spin his walker colts?
Yes he did! Very impressive means those guns are heavy!
Wait, did you get dressed in the dark?
lol maybe with my fashion choices!
@SaintAndrewTV if there's anywhere you can get away with dressing eclectic, it was the 1800's.
Which reminds me, have you watched the Kurt Russell video with I think it was GQ where he talks about the effort that went into making Tombstone, including the accents and costumes?
@@christiankirkenes5922 What about the moustaches, where did they hire them from lol 😂
First 😁
Big W!
I'd give my right arm too be ambidextrous. 😂
That’s a good one!
