- Alright, this one has been in the works for a while. On this installment of Fancy Gun Spinning Tricks we will be learning the Border Shift. This one is daunting to be frank, but not unachievable. So that’s precisely what we will be doing today. We will take it step by step and by the end, you’ll have a new trick in your arsenal. Side Note there’s a Missy Elliott bit in here. Funny Anecdote. Yesterday, I was at my nephew's house just down the road, where we were doing some shooting, as we often do. I was shooting my Colt Richard-Mason conversion 38Spl. And after shooting, I'd simply holster it. My nephew asked why I never spin my revolver as I go to holster it. I replied in a deep voice like Danny Trejo; "Ranger don't spin. Ranger shoots.". Which got a chuckle outta him. I didn't have the heart to tell him that I spin pistols about as well as a bull moose can fly!😅

Why thank you, Wade! To be frank, I reckon a bit of both is in order! Haha! Was the idea of throwing steel intelligent? Not particularly. But was it pretty? It sure was! So amazement and a some scolding will do!
And if you have to shot, no need for the theatre! Hit your mark and the flamboyance of the spin into the holster isn’t even needed! I guarantee that if you’re quick and accurate, you’ll always be a better guy who wasn’t nearly as quick nor accurate!

@@SaintAndrewTVThanks I'll need all the luck l can get, I'm developing arthritis in my left hand mostly round the thumb joint and I'm left handed, it's not too bad at the moment, but erm down the line l will have to train my right hand more, which as I'm 66 is going to need that luck l😂
@@biggusdickus5986 I’m sorry to hear that friend. But I sure you can do it! It took me a few hours to get it down! Just compartmentalize the two motions then combine them. That’s the easiest way to learn in my opinion!
@@SaintAndrewTV Thanks, l have taken the advice on board, actually looking forward to it, using mattresses as well as pillows, in a smallish room, the worst that could happen if l drop one is it bouncing up somersaulting and hitting me in the nose lol, highly unlikely.
