- Sorry @TUCOtheratt, but you were the selection for the bounty poster. Hopefully you’re not convicted for the crimes alleged against you.
With the apology out of the way, some explanation is in order. On today’s episode, we will be making the iconic, yet infamous, bounty poster. This is my own recipe to make them look authentic and period correct. Not to mention the spaghetti western twist I put on mine! Hopefully this gives you a good idea of how to format, age, and finally, accent your final product. Oh yeah, and happy hunting.

You'll NEVER take me alive!😃
Didn’t plan on it, pard!
🤣 a mistake turns into a happy error! 😂LOL
You know he's just gonna glue some facial hair to Lil Buddy and haul him to Arizona.
Funny, I thought it would be great to have some "pre-aged" paper ready to go so I could just shoot them through a printer. Note: crinkled paper really pisses off printers. Jam city, baby.
Great info, Andrew.
I take that knowledge is gained through some personal experiences? lol! Thank you, Santee!
@@SaintAndrewTV Oh yeah!
TUCO is now...
"The sketchiest gun in the west" 😂
That’s awesome!
Takes me back to my old CW reenacting days. When you needed to make your shelter-half look like you weren't a "new recruit," coffee & tea were your best friends. (Plus a tasty way to pass the time while you waited for it to dry)
Fun video today.
Absolutely! Thanks for stopping by, friend!
Nice job very nice indeed be seeing you down the trail 🐴🐴🐎👍👍🤠🤠
Thanks for stopping by, Jack!
@@SaintAndrewTV any time pard
Love this Old west-Art attack thing.
I'm working on an old west miniature of a storefront and needed to stain paper for tiny newspapers. I used black tea and that works so good. It's also a great way to stain white textile and give it an aged or even dirty look. And after that, it smells wonderful :P
Hi, you are really my "time machine". Great channel.
I’m not sure! You should stick around and gather more information! And thank you!
I love the Ramones "Armados y peligrosos" wanted poster.
Soak paper in Tea for tannin. Save the wet tea bags and dab on edges for edging for weathering & blotching.
Use a Heat Gun to scorch, slower, but safer than direct flame. If you do ignite the paper have a spray bottle of water to extinguish and bleach area for added effect.
Maybe make some whiskey bottle labels for vintage bottles. Or, just sit down, "and drank Brandy".
Thank's a lot for this idea and greetings from Germany! 😉
I appreciate you for stopping by! Danke!
A Heat gun might work for the last enhancement ,better than a light.
Very good point. Next time, maybe I’ll think about not setting my home on fire! lol!
So I need to send all my old coffee grains to you? 🤣 😂 😉
That would be lovely!
@@SaintAndrewTV you all heard him! He wants all subscribers to send him the used coffee grains! 🤣😂🤣😂🤣
@@johnledford6285I’m sure they’ll be one box that shows up unannounced! I blame you, Scoot… JOHN!
One time I did something like this, I used tea
Yep it ages paper well
Cool job St. Andrew
Appreciate it, David!
Man o man your content is like a breath of fresh air. True Americana. Keep it up amigo.
I’m glad you enjoy! Thanks for stopping by!
I just discovered your channel but damn what a great and interesting channel thanks for upload your videos
I appreciate it! Thanks for coming around!
This makes a great indoor project for tropical storm-y days. I just wonder what property Tuco destroyed.
That’s a great question! Probably Old Tucson studios!
Only you can prevent poster fires! 🔥😅
I'm going to make a wanted poster on Andrew the Arsonist!😃😅🤣
Seriously, cool stuff. 👍
The hurricane has made landfall here in Texas, and we're getting some hard rain in E. Texas. 6" to 8" is predicted. There goes my range time out back. 😒
Arson is right! I still can’t believe I did that! lol!
Be careful down there, Wade. Hopefully nothing too crazy, but keep yourself and your family safe! Hurricanes are no joke!
@@SaintAndrewTV Well, the rotation is spreading out and dissipating. But we're going to have flooding in areas. Good thing I live on the highest part in my area. 😉 But 25 miles west is a town called Trinidad, in a low area just off the Trinity River. It floods bad when the river rises. They have a great little restaurant with good old Texas cooking, and a gunstore to boot. Stakes and shootin' irons under one roof. Now if that ain't Texan, I don't know what is! 🤠
@@anangryranger lol, I was going to say, the most Texan establishment in the Lone Star! Hopefully it doesn’t flood at all and if it does, not too badly. Never dealt with hurricanes, but I got to grow up with their dryer siblings, the tornado. But I’m sure Texas gets those too!
Have you tried a spray bottle full of coffee?
I have not. I don’t feel like it would stain the paper evenly! I could be wrong!
I actually have an old cloth one from when I was a kid....professionally made too lol. Back when I was growing up in the late 80s and 90s there was a theme park about...oh 2 and a half to 3 hours from where I lived, it was called "Ghost Town in the Sky" it was an Wild West theme park built on top of a mesa looking mountain ridge, you had to ride a tram or a ski lift up to the park. I have some old home vids on beta max camcorder tapes of my time there. Sadly it closed down back some 2 decades ago in 2002 and it's under an ongoing lawsuit so while there is a desire to bring it back under the name "Ghost Town Village"....nothing is currently being done since the last attempted reopening in 2016. The closest Wild West theme park now is still about 3 hours away but it's a much more...family oriented park focused more for kids BUT...I still wanna go cause odds are I'll never see Ghost Town Village open up in my life time and if I do I'll be too old to go and walk around.
I wasn’t aware there were such things as Wild West theme parks! Anyway, that Billy the kid bounty poster sounds really cool! I wouldn’t know the first place to look to get one professionally done!
@@SaintAndrewTV Wild West theme parks are VERY rare, the one I mentioned that's close to me (as close as 3 hours can be) is called "Tweetsie Railroad" it has two old steam trains that you can ride and they do Christmas and Halloween themed rides. Again it's much more focused around entertaining families and kids so there isn't gonna be a shootout in the street show like they had back at Ghost Town in the Sky...but it's better than nothing for this soon to be 40 year old as of next year lol.
They used to have 45s to shoot blanks, they robbed the train, shot the Indians, etc
@@ShinKyuubi if I can find an active one, I would certainly be going to it! Thanks for the heads up!
DEAD or ......... BURNT ?? 🤔😁
I left that part in for everyone to enjoy. Not the brightest moment in my life! Lol
@@SaintAndrewTV Glad you left it in. Proves you are human and not an AI - bot 😁
@@oregonoutback7779 unless I’m a robot programmed with pyromania! Haha!
@@SaintAndrewTV Ok, a pyromaniacal robot is acceptable to the internet. Carry on 😳
@oregonoutback7779 what part of Oregon outback? I'm outside of Christmas valley
