Awesome
Very cool video Scott, the .500 S/W is ok,but I'm much more partial towards the .460 Smith & Wesson because it's a much more flexible aall around caliber,it'll shoot all the heavy stuff up to 400 grains, but yet you can load it with .45 Long Colt, then if you want to go hunting or you're doing long-range silhouette shooting, you can load it up with .454 Casulls. It's a much more flexible to shoot and it's cheaper to shoot.
That's a bad booger right there.
Damn thatâs crazy u shoot somebody and they evaporate and 3 generations of ancestors disappear from the family tree

Sort of like a JJ Abrams Star Trek reboot of the franchise. Random. LOL

The most impressive thing about this video, is not the power of the 500 magnum, it's your ability to shoot the snub nose accurately, very accurately! Great shooting!
Thats truth. Scott is able to withstand an atomic bomb in his hands with smile and jokes :D
Well thank you!
The thing making it work is that he clearly has a solid grasp on the basic principles of marksmanship. Those apply if you're shooting a .22LR, a .177 pellet gun, a .50BMG, a 9mm, a 12-gauge or a 5.56mm.
God knows, I wish I could shoot like that!
@@ChrisB.C. the most powerfull handcanon i have ever tried till now was DE 50AE and i loved it :) but 500 mag must be like a dream. I hope sometimes...

Hmmm... I think the .460 S&W snubby would provide faster follow-up shots inside the market. 0_o However out in the parking lot the .500 S&W snubby is the go to gun for those mutant T-Rex muggings. >_
Definitely a good gun for taking out Deathclaws around the Commonwealth wasteland.
Hold on to your Pip Bpy.
I remember being in the gun shop, staring at that gun, falling in love with it. I had no experience with firearms and thankfully my friend who was experienced, talked me out of it. Still, it gives me the warm and fuzzies to see it in action. Thank you for the vid đ
If you had no prior experience with guns but liked revolvers, a 38 special wouldâve been up your alley
@@bloopy6166 I'm not partial to anything just yet, but I've heard revolvers are quite reliable. That same friend who took me to the shop had me check out his handguns before we went. He had a Beretta and a Glock. I love the feel of a Beretta. It has a nice weight and it feels solid. The Glock felt like it could break. Then shortly thereafter I went shooting at the police range and they gave me a Glock to use since that's what they carry here. When shooting theirs it felt more reliable than when I was checking out my friend's. I think when I'm ready to make my first purchase, I will end up buying an assortment. I'm fickle. Watching Herrera, Kentucky and others has only piqued my interest in even more. But as far as the .500 goes, yeah, I'll wait for someone else to buy it, then offer to buy the ammo to go shooting with them. Lol.
@@eyeiess I couldnât really tell you much about semi auto pistols, but definitely check out the rock island armory model 200, itâs not expensive and youâll have a heck of a time shooting it :)

Just had a guy nailing a 4â grouping at a basement gun range with only four ranges. I was right next to the guy and it vibrated my dang bones and shoot the room. Kinda considered him a menace but his skill was inspiring
There's something about Kentucky that breeds handcannon use, I had a 4 1/2" 500 and loved it, I thought it was perfectly balanced, sold it and bought a 6 1/2" 460 ( because it shot 454 and 45 long colt), I love it and will never part with it, I shot it once next to a 500 gal propane tank, ( off to the side) , and the concussion rapped that tank let I hit it with a sledgehammer!
