This tutorial is, by far, the easiest one i have found. Thank you for posting this video. Sewing machines and I do not get along with each other. So i sew everything by hand. It takes longer, but i find it very therapeutic. I will be making some of your beautiful drawstring bags without getting confused. THANKS 😊

Could u plz give sizes for three different bags. Yours is the easiest video for making these brackets. I’m going to put cardboard in the bottom covered with matching fabric. Thanks

You can figure the size because she did to use 2 fat quarters which are usually 18 x 22
You don’t need measurements. Make it any size you want. Usually should be a rectangle. Hope that helps.
Great tutorial. This would make a great project for my granddaughter 9 who wants to sew and has been practicing straight sewing. This is the best tutorial on how to put a drawstring bag together. Thank you so much.

I'm a beginner when it comes to sewing, but I can't believe that no one has come up with a better way to thread twill tape, etc, like you're doing here instead of using a safety pin. The Sew Tites are cool.
I've seen a tool called the Clover Clip n Glide.

Great video. I love the way you insert the ribbon on both sides of the bag so that you can pull on both ends of ribbon and it closes the bag up beautifully in a pinch - brilliant!

So cute! Thank you, ChicnScratch, for sharing! But I was disappointed, after cutting my front piece, that the pattern wasn't lined up correctly to finish top and bottom, but it was positioned side to side. Wish you had addressed that important step, before I had to cut another piece to accommodate the direction of the fabric. Oh well, live and learn. Still loving it, though!

Very cute. I always hunt for different ways to make these! Your way seems very easy to me. Have not used my sew tiles( they are heavy) very clever of you to use that way!
