    Wow! First, let me say that I think you are so generous with you talent and skill. AND energy. I don’t know how you get so much done in a day that you are able to prep and share all of this, and of course, your Stampin’ Up projects. And lastly, let me say that after watching your step by step creation of this bag that there’s a glimmer of a spark of a thought that I might consider sewing again. Oh! I forgot to say that I LOVE your fabric choices. AND that I might consider ironing again if I had that cute fabric on my ironing board. Ok. That’s it. ♥️

    I just made the tall bag and I love it! I am making them for Easter instead of baskets and filling them with goodies. Easier to send in the mail and much cuter.

    Thank you for making this amazing incredibly easy to understand step-by-step tutorial!! Experienced sewers often teach beginners at a very fast pace because they already know what they're doing, but you made this process very beginner friendly and it's appreciated. Thank you!!

    Lovely bags, just about to make. Thanks for the link with size details. In the video you say interfacing for the fronts but in the chart it indicates fusible fleece. I’m fairly new to sewing hence the confusion.

    • @chicnscratch

    Thanks so much for sharing! Totes/shopper bags are a beginner project that I feel comfortable with, I enjoy making different variations, esp when there’s interfacing! Not much experience with it yet! So many questions though! What fabric is this? I’d love to buy if it’s a current design! What about your Bernina? Which model do you own? I’m thinking of one, but there are so many I’m not sure where to start! I’ll stop there, for now! Enjoyed and subscribed!

    • @chicnscratch
      @chicnscratch  Před rokem

      I'm happy to help!! The fabric line is Beautiful Day by Corey Yoder. It's still current but the gingham design is harder to find. You can't go wrong with any Bernina sewing machine!! I have four of them, 350, 475, 570 and 790. My favorite is the 790 but I use the 475 most often because it stays in our dining room. I would encourage you to go to your local Bernina store and give them a test drive. And you can ask me questions after you visit the store and I'd be happy to answer any questions you may have. Thanks!
