I just wanna see my boy Demyx again, he's now one of the characters we know least about now that luxord is getting the spotlight
We really deserve to learn why it seems like Demyx and Larxene have a past. I mean am I one of the few who notice they act a lot like siblings? I know we didn’t get any mention by Elrena or the other character of the Age of Fairytales mentioning a sibling of hers but they certainly have a past. Why else would Nomura have that sibling like bickering showcased between Larxene and Demyx?

Nomura already said that the Subject X plot would be explored in KH4, meaning Lea & Isa as well as Skuld (whose all but confirmed to be Subject X herself at this point) should make an appearance.
More expanded development for the (now) Somebodies will make me a happy camper. Lauriam especially and Luxord too, though I'd be giddy at the thought of Demyx coming in again and being a direct hero, rather than the one behind the scenes with Even & Ienzo.
We need to see Skuld in KH4. And the missing Keyblade Wielders from the past.
She's virtually confirmed to be Subject X, which is a story Nomura said will be explored in KH4.

@@angelbaby3342. I think it's less of a developer confirmation and more like an easy ass jigsaw puzzle going by the Subject X Secret Reports in Kingdom Hearts 3.

But when there were a lot more people talking about the theory back then during the time of KH3, a lot of people were actually trying to debunk the whole shebang that Skuld is Subject X. Especially with the continuation of the mobile game stories, I forgot what exactly it was but people started to not believe it. So I thought people dropped that theory.
@@angelbaby3342 I think the main issue is a lack of new information as those reports are basically the whole theory right now with nothing else to truly support it.
I know in the video you said that it doesn't include Final Fantasy and Disney characters returning for Kingdom Hearts 4 (maybe it will be saved for a future video?), but if I have to go with at least one Final Fantasy character that I know will 100% show up, it has to be Noctis. And he makes sense, mainly because of the connections around Yozora, Quadratum/Insomnia, and what basically happened to Noctis's body/soul the last time we saw him in FF XV. Plus, Yozora did say that it's not his true form, confirming us that Yozora is a nobody. Which means Noctis would be on Yozora's heart, so my guess would also be that Stella would be under The Nameless heart as well. And if Noctis is coming back in Kingdom Hearts 4, you might as well add in Gladiolus, Prompto, and Ignis as well. It just makes sense to have the whole gang together and be the main focus of the game too.
Also, in terms of the Disney characters, the trailer confirmed that Donald, Goofy, and Hades are gonna be in that game, so that's good. In terms of King Mickey though? Who knows.
I'm also going to add Ventus.
His story is left unfinished, and his past needs to be explored as he receives his old memories. Makes sense is Lauriem and Elrena are returning. I just want the UX gang back
Fun fact we now have 11 KH original characters who either have Keyblades or have potential to gain them.
Sora, Kairi, Riku
Roxas, Xion, Lea
Ventus, Aqua, Terra
Namine and Isa.
Out of these 11, 10 have ties to darkness. We also happen to have a missing Foreteller.
If we add Larium, and Elena to our group then we are at 13 members 12 of which have ties to darkness.
We also have maybe 1 confirmed location of a true darkness (Vanitas) and he might be part of Ventus again. For some reason I have a feeling we might not be defending light in this saga.
Regardless of which characters will feature the most in the story, I hope we get more opportunities to play as other characters.
I’m pretty sure the entire Wayfinder Trio and Skuld are going to be in Kingdom Hearts IV in some way. Just imagine if Skuld succeeds Kairi as one of the New Seven Hearts.
As for Yozora’s playability in KH4, it’s almost certain. Kairi is as well, but near the end of the game. This is by using the player character swap mechanic used in FFVII Remake.

Demyx is gonna be the Prompto of Yozora’s group, I’m telling ya. Also my guess for Luxord’s and Demyx’s real names are Uldor and Ymde.
I personally think roxas will also come back. Why would Nomura bring him back in kingdom hearts 3 if he wasn’t going to have him in future games. Some of your theories I agree with while others I don’t agree with.
I definitely agree with you on that one, and the same could be said for Xion. I sure hope that we get to see all the characters again. Except for most of the Xeanorts, that was just too much of one person.
I think the Characters that would most likely to return in Kongdo, Hearst 4 Sora, Sterlesia , Riku, Xigbar/ Luxu, Master of Masters, Yozora, Magia and Edgas being a mix of the Turks and like this Universe version of Donald and Goofy who could acompany Sora, Xigfraid, Luxord, Demyx since we still don’t know we’re he is from, The missing Star, Laurium since his sister is back Elrena the fire tellers maybe Kairi, Young Xehanort and Vanitas since he is a true Darkness.
I do like the idea of Larium being in 4 and providing some saving for Donald and Goofy

Sora will be really confused to see Xehanort yet again and always assumes that he is plotting something.
Let's just assume Young Xehanort will explain himself and say he's there to help...kind of like the others who heel face turned the MoM's current plan. (Or got turned back into whole people through being reconstructed by having their nobody and heartless defeated or being put into a replica body [Namine, Roxas, and Xion for the latter])

Remember that Sora's been fighting this guy for multiple years, and witnessed Xehanort doing a bunch of terrible things including killing Kairi; Chances are that, should the two cross paths again, the results would be anything BUT peaceful.

Yeah but didn't Nomura say that Final Fantasy doesn't belong in Kingdom Hearts anymore or some crap like that? I'd love to see more Final Fantasy cross over into Kingdom Hearts. That's half of what makes it what it is.

1: Nomura claims that the Final Fantasy characters were specifically implemented for fan recognition in older games as they had no idea if Kingdom Hearts 1 was even gonna sell very well; That's not to say he hates Final Fantasy characters in Kingdom Hearts, but moreso he thinks they're not necessary to keep the story going.
2: No, it's not; Historically speaking, Final Fantasy characters in Kingdom Hearts have rarely been that important to the plot with some exceptions here and there like Hollow Bastion 2nd Visit in Kingdom Hearts 2.

I feel like once Nintendo announces the next Nintendo console either later this year, or next year, I guarantee you, we'll be getting native Kingdom Hearts games ported. Because by then, the next console will be more powerful than the Switch already.
I can't wait for Soriku to find out about Xigbar still being alive. Really looking forward to the Lost Masters ARC itself!!! ALL SCENES with Strelitzia in Quadratum, of course (if they go there!) LauriamMarluxia and Strelitzia seeing eachother again. Need my girl Larxene/Elrena. And I still want to know about all things Demyx. Too many characters to name, you know the ones, they are the same you're all looking forward to seeing again. I hope to be blown away by at least SOME NEW news during my upcoming vacation in April... there's such a draught when it comes to anything Kingdom Hearts News. I just wanna get my hands on a beta test of Missing Link, well, I'm passing the days now with NBA All-World... and I'm not even a basketball fan! Progress goes excruciatingly slow but hey, at least I'm productive... plus I'm constantly offering Hospitality to visitors by bringing them to their appointments 5 days a week as my working job so I'm getting plenty of Daily Steps in. And of course: an actual reveal of Subject X. Sorry, but I'm so over the many theories about her, I want answers, not more theories!

You forgot Demyx! I get the feeling he's also from the world of Quadratum like Luxord since he isn't shown in Union Cross like Laurium and Elrena. And if Demyx/Dyme doesn't show up in 4, I'm going to be very disappointed
Rould & Dyme… I feel like all these comments are how people feel about KH3. If the story writes itself and it’s GOOD let it be. I miss when HMK made lots of KH theories and posted almost every week about it. So much content from χ, union-χ, Dark Road, Re:Mind and Melody of Memory we can play with
100% riku and Kairi will be there but i hope we get to see more of a Sora and Riku duo story..its well deserved since they are best friends and Kairi being the one who loves Sora will find inner strength to find him for once instead the other way around…it would be so good if they finally let us experience the Destiny Island trio live and fight for the sake of each other

I have to say Demyx. That guy is too unknown and just pops up when he wants to. Your telling me he won't have a part is just crazy. Like he's always a side character who he doesn't want the spotlight, but there's so much we don't know. He's to hoping we gives a plot twist to it all. Hell I'll even take a back story to learn who he was.

I'm still a little surprised that Ventus won't have much to do in KH4, giving that he had a BIG role in union x and the one who physically attacked Stelitzia.
On the other side, I am wondering what role Lauriam and Elrena might take, it will be weird seeing a good side of them both as grown ups this time.

Are you forgetting neku and the promise he made in dream drop distance. Nomura confirmed they're not the same place considering world that ends with you is a fictional Shibuya while sora is in the real world but come on we all know that dude is coming. I don't think people understand how big the references are to the world that ends with you. EDIT: I also don't think people understand that world's are pronounced as SEKAI in the Japanese game which means universe in English every world in kingdom hearts is its own universe different time flow and even the grand console woman in bbs talks about in the dev file she over sees the universe and that should be clear a reality is a completely different plane of existence 💯 percent

I don't know why but I keep getting this strange feeling that they're going to have this big reveal that Demyx is actually the MoM and has been not only deceiving us the entire time but watching everything VERY closely, always being close but never really interfering, just going with the flow of things until it's his time to act.
I don't think that makes any sense since we specifically saw the Master of Masters in Quadratum at the end of Kingdom Hearts 3, which Demyx is NOT in.
@@dragonbornexpress5650 We also saw Riku in Quadratum at the end of Kingdom Hearts 3. The secret ending videos aren't always 100% accurate, but even then who's to say that he didn't move back and forth between reality and fiction at some point? Demyx's appearances in KH3 are pretty spotty if I remember right. (It's been a bit since I played through the game, really should replay it soon lol)
@@traviskroeg1856. Then there's another question: Why WOULD he be traveling back and forth between Reality and Unreality? This theory is way too easy to poke holes into. I do think Demyx knows more than what he lets on, but I doubt he's the Master of Masters.

Personally it feels like they strongly hint on a detail or two like Luxord being from the realm of fiction to entice everyone but keep everything else close to the chest until the next game comes out and blows everyone's minds with what they reveal.

Even if Young Xehanort does return in IV as a good guy, I have a feeling Sora will have a hard time trusting him, as he did with the reformed Captain Barbossa.
Of course. That distrust is hardly unwarranted, especially so for Xehanort given all of the crap he did. Wouldn't be surprising if Sora even attacked him early on out of rage. (Which, again, is hardly unwarranted.)
The two characters I wish to see the most in Kingdom Hearts 4 are Ava and Brain! Since Brain has decided that he wants to be the virus in The Master of Masters plans because he knows much of it in the book of prophecies and he probably knows the existence of unreality and made his way there and the fact that Ava was missing in the Foretellers reunion with Luxu indicates that she has plans of her own and does not wish to do the Master's biding. I believe that these two will play a larger role in Kingdom Hearts 4 serving as a guide for Sora to be watchful and be wary of The Master of Masters. Hoping to see more union x and dark road characters to appear and make small cameos will be appreciated
I was thinking of Ava too. I think we also need to see a lot more of Ienzo too...I feel like he's kind of connected to Brain, being that they (in their respective times) are the smart ones.
Also since HMK mentioned Young Xehanort, I'm gonna go out on a short limb and also say Young Eraqus. Just due to those two being closely connected.

Kairi, Lauriam, and Elrena (and Strelitzia) are the characters who I am very invested in going into KH4 and the Lost Master Arc.
Yozora and his guys still have a ways to go to earn my absolute investment.
Roxas, Xion, Axel, Ven, Aqua, and Terra are my favorites, and I would absolutely love more games for them, but if they have a hiatus for a couple of games before that happens, I'm fine with that too.
I mean Nomura did say that the Foretellers would straight up be obstacles in Sora's way in KH4 (reintroducing them even). For Subject X, I'm leaning more toward her being the wild epilogue scene moment of KH4, similar to Luxu in KH3.
I think based off of all the other games that Kairi is going to have a bigger role than ever before, and maybe, they might drop some big information about her just like they did in Kingdom Hearts 1. Plus, the farther along the series we get the more we see of her. That's something I can't wait to see.
What about Demyx?
I think it would be awesome if they bring Ansem seeker of darkness and Xemnas back too but not as enemies but as alleys and not as a heartless and nobody but as their own people, I know that they got destroyed in kingdom hearts 3 but they have died before and came back and Xehanort finally died at the end of kingdom hearts 3 and was send to might come back as a ally so why not his heartless and nobody. As for Ansem and Xemnas become their own people well if Roxas and Namine become their own people separate from Sora and Kairi so why not Ansem and Xemnas become their own people separate from Xehanort especially since Xemnas is a nobody that is made from two people being Xehanort and Terra just like Roxes being from Sora and Ventus and you can say that despite being a heartless, Ansem is in a similar situation. As for them being alleys well to me anyways they seem to already begun to change when they were defeated near the end of kingdom hearts 3, Xemnas went from the emotionless villain we came to know him as to someone who regret his past actions when he got his emotions back and most likely to want to find redemption after getting another chance at life and Ansem already realize that the real organization 13 will lose after he lost Ansem the wise in twilight town but accepted his fate and realized that there is more out there to seek then just darkness and may have a redemption arc similar to Riku. Finally I would like them to come back because I think there is still room for character development for them both, Ansem more so since he has less screen time then Xemnas.

Part of me wants to see some of the Dark Road characters appear in Scala ad Caelum... as secret bosses or other sorts of boss fights.
If no one else, I want to fight against Baldr. And I would prefer to play as Kairi or Mickey for that battle.
We never got to actually fight Baldr gameplay-wise in Dark Road. So I would really love to fight against Baldr in 3D. And, of course, Baldr would be assisted by his enormous Heartless: the Hringhorn.
Nomura himself apparently confirmed they won't be returning, but a Lingering Will style fight for any one of them would probably be the best route. (Which doesn't even have to be in Quadratum; They likely got sent to the Final World after being killed.)

I wasn't expecting them to play any significant roles in the future, but just to cameo in flashbacks.
The only one of them that could logically be made into a secret boss fight in the vein of Lingering Will (in my opinion), is Baldr. Not only wielding a Keyblade, but also his Hringhorn Heartless.

Young Xehnort was in Shibuya?
Seemingly. Nomura posted some art on "X" shortly after the release of Dark Road's final episode which seemed to show a much younger version of Xehanort walking around in Tokyo. (The most common theory being he's in Miyashita Park, specifically.) Couple that with Xehanort's talk of a 14th lifetime to explore the new world during Dark Road, and it seems like Xehanort is gonna end up in Quadratum.

I really hope that the Master’s failsafe plan for the Foretellers involves Vanitas getting his own body somehow. I would love to figure out how many of the 13 darknesses are actually alive at the point of 4. Like are the seven within the foretellers already gone due the Keyblade war? Does that last one from Union Cross, who spoke to Luxu during the True Dandelion scene, show up in Missing Link and seemingly dealt with. I NEED to know how many because I’m hoping that they each get their own body like Vanitas, and that there is a way to take them down without them actually reforming with their host like Vanitas did in BBS.
Well, by nature, True Darkness can only be killed if it's given a form, typically an unwilling vessel. The whole thing about the Foretellers is that their hearts were trained in such a way that they'd be able to contain True Darkness within their hearts while not succumbing to it's effects at all, allowing them to retain complete control of themselves. It's never said that True Darkness, when within a vessel, ever really fades so it's unknown if they can even have their own forms unless they get the same treatment as Vanitas.
That aside, Vanitas already has his own body anyways since Xehanort forcefully extracted him from Ventus before the events of Birth by Sleep.

I think we see ansem sod come back but not as himself but in the same way he did in chain of memories and kh2 through riku. I believe riku would struggle against yozora and will need help from his connections through ansem because I believe part of him is still connected and riku will struggle with his keyblade just like sora because they are far from there reality

Unknown; Presumably lost after he became a Nobody.
I have a feeling that (just a small one ), sora will disagree with the master of masters plans and deem it too sacrificial, as heroes mainly sora tend to do, and that maybe even the four tellers reuniting with the master of masters siding with him , and being the new antagonists .

For both the first Missing Link trailer and the KH4 reveal trailer, the voice pattern was matched up to be Sigurd's; How he's speaking in the KH4 trailer despite being from ancient Scala is a mystery. (In the most recent Missing Link trailer, it's not him.)
What if the wild card is what saves Sora?
Too early to tell; By nature, a wild card doesn't reveal it's effects until it's used, meaning literally anything could happen.
I think I have an idea on what Luxord's real is. How does the name RUDOL sound to you?

I'm not sure I like the idea of Magia and Aegis being similar to the Turks... the way Rex talks, they seem more like Yozora's friends than his lackeys. No disrespect to the Turks of course, those guys are cool, but I've been picturing Magia and Aegis as the Prompto and Gladiolus to Yozora's Noctis and Luxord's Ignis.

I don't think that's gonna be the case. We get a good look at her Somebody personality during the events of Union Cross and, while the arrogance is toned down immensely, she still doesn't really give a shit about other people for the most part. (As her Chirithy directly calls out.) Even when she DOES start getting more involved in what the Dandelions are doing, Elrena very much only seems to care about Lauriam and his quest to find Strelitzia, which would likely continue even after getting recompleted thanks to Sora.
I want that our blonde will help Sora.
There aren't many returning characters I care about in KH4. I'll probably like the story but not care about the characters in it. That's fine with me.

Don't get me wrong, cool characters and solid antagonists but I just feel like their time has passed. Plus, it feels pretty lame to keep having a character come back after you thought you've killed them more than once.
Seeing as how important information was previously stuck on mobile, I imagine Square Enix will now do that with NFTs moving forward. UGH
For me personally i hope there's more new characters than characters we already know cause i want Kingdom hearts to be completely new story

What would be absolutely brain busting is if the balance between light & dark is the source of Yozora’s power. If that is disrupted, his power could overwhelm him or cease to exist.
