A cool concept, though who knows if the Land Of The Dead connects to the Final World at all; That being said, we do know Hades can summon hearts from the Final World to the Underworld for as long as he wants, so maybe the Land Of The Dead could be the Kingdom Hearts equivalent to Elysium from Greek mythology in a sense: A paradise for the spirits of the dead, but maybe those who are in the Final World can choose to go to the Land Of The Dead if they are pure of heart rather than being pulled out of the Final World into the Underworld by Hades. It would certainly be interesting storywise since this is how Lauriam could possibly reconnect with Ephemer after such a long time since the end of Union Cross, but it also allows the developers to throw in dozens of references and cameos from across the series or even more than THAT.

@@titaniumdragon6719. Glad we're on the same page; Come to think of it, this kind of idea would also make for some interesting gameplay. Maybe, depending on what domain in the Land Of The Dead Sora or whoever ends up in, the playable area changes to resemble places that the domain owner considers special or dear to their heart; For example, going along with that Ephemer idea, maybe his domain changes the area to resemble Daybreak Town because it's a place that he considers dear to his heart since it was literally his old home prior to the end of Union Cross. However, maybe the Land Of The Dead was originally DEVOID of darkness, including the Heartless, until fairly recently; Again, going with the Ephemer example, maybe he was originally at peace in the world until, for whatever reason, his sorrow from seeing the Union Cross protagonist "possessed" by True Darkness all those years ago combined with witnessing the literal end of the world suddenly resurfaces on a massive scale, causing him to temporarily fall to darkness through consumption by grief in those old memories, and a situation like THAT is what finally caused the Land Of The Dead to be infested with Heartless. This would not only explain why the world is suddenly crawling with Heartless, but it would also make the gameplay AND story more interesting as a result: To have these pure hearted individuals throughout the Land Of The Dead suddenly fall to darkness temporarily from memories of the past through some sort of unknown cause; In Ephemer's case, being consumed by sorrow and grief from the traumatic events he experienced back during the end of Union Cross.
Also Zootopia's structure with the different districts is perfect for a world to run around and explore
Running from Sahara Square to Tundratown would be amazing. Would also be a great world for interacting with npcs and making a bunch of unique ones that's one of the big things about the movie how all the individual animals are living their lives alongside Judy and Nick
I'd be beyond ecstatic to see Atlantis and Treasure Planet. Criminally underrated movies there and two I LOVED to death when I was a kid

I think the cast of The Gaurdians of the Galaxy would make a great cameo appearance just like the Final Fantasy characters such as Cloud and Auron appearing at Olympus.
@@paganavenger8920 that would be awesome, but I have a strong feeling that it would take a LOT of work to get the MCU linked to KH. If they could do that, then they could and should do Star Wars too, plus Xemnas’ “ethereal blades” are already literal lightsabers.
That’d be a dream come true though to have Marvel characters in the KH universe, I just don’t know if they’d ever be able to pull that off

The more I think about it right now, the more excited I get. I just feel like it’ll happen, if not in KH4, then certainly another release in the near future.
There’s been so much Zootopia talk that I think they’ll just have to do it. I’ll hold picket signs outside Nomura’s house until he does it.
I wanted to see an actual Lilo and stitch world that takes place In Hawaii since in birth by sleep the world takes place in outer space that takes place in the opening of the movie where stitch escapes and lands on earth But it’ll be cool to have space and Hawaii to be in that world. My story plot idea will take place after the first movie where it’ll be similar in the Peter Pan world when Wendy was kidnapped I wanted to be similar with Lilo when she was kidnapped and is taken to outer space and is up to Sora to help Stitch and fight against Gantu and hamsterviel that are using unversed while the heartless make an appearance. Stitch would somehow remember fighting the unversed along side with Terra Aqua and Ventus in birth by sleep final boss of the world would be hamsterviel riding on a giant robot Unversed. Hawaii would be the final area to the world and the second visit there will be a secret boss that’s a giant tiki masked heartless in Hawaii
My most wanted World for KH4 is Zootopia. Zootopia is my favorite film of all time, and it being announced for KH4 would make me evoke the same tears of joy I had when Sora was announced for Smash Ultimate.
I strongly disagree about Zootopia being in KH4. Maybe in a later title, though.

This was a purrfect Top 10, thank you HMK. I agreed way too much with this list and the reasons why. I'm hoping that if Treasure Planet makes it in, then that's how you go from Unreality World to Unreality World. While classic Gummi ship is used for Kairi and co.
Personally, I’d love to see Storybrook from Once Upon a Time. I envision it as taking place in an alternate universe where all the worlds have gone dark except for one, Storybrook, due to Queen Regina’s curse bringing everyone from their world into Storybrook. I say it would have to be an alternate universe because we would see different versions of characters we already know such as the Queen and Snow White. Would be cool to have Emma Swan on your team while fighting heartless in the street.
Alternatively, I think it would’ve been cool to see Kingdom Hearts show up in the show back when it was on. A live action version of Sora and the gang could’ve been so interesting in the Once Upon a Time universe.

I'd love to see Facilier summon new Pureblood heartless variations to mess with the party as they navigate the bayou. Since he communes with shadows, there could even be a magic mirror esque boss fight with the "Friends"
That would be soo cool. I kinda would like that Dr. Facilier would only use pureblood heartless, and that he could do more to the story as a whole instead of just his own world.
seeing how Toy Story was in KH3 and how Star Wars might be in KH4 i can totally see Treasure Planet happening
With Princess and The Frog what if Dr. Facilier can in a way travel between both realities in a way because of his powers, like he sends a spectral version of himself over to unreality to speak to his friends on the other side
Not a bad concept. He could even use this ability to tempt other characters into making bad decisions with the promise of making their dreams come true, which would be a direct parallel to how he manipulates people in the film by playing on their desires.
I think i like that idea very much. Like, he knows the unreality of the situation, and while it may not be the other side, it IS an other side, who's to say what sort of other darkness-based enemies can we encounters too.
I think when it comes to the Disney worlds chosen by Nomura himself in every Kingdom Hearts game, he chooses Disney worlds based on the following factors:
1. The Environment of the world and the gameplay mechanics.
2. The themes that the specific returning and new Disney worlds based on that Disney or Pixar film have in common to the theme of the specific KH game they're in (e.g. Friendship, Trust, Connections, Promises, etc.) - Which is debatable
3. How does this particular Disney world fit in the games story from an aesthetic and thematic standpoint and for Sora's character development.
4. Disney and/or the fans giving Requests and suggestions to which films they want to see added in the game to Nomura and the team (e.g. Big Hero 6 in KH3, Hunchback in DDD).
That being said, as much as I would love to have a world based on The Emperor’s New Groove, Atlantis and especially a Treasure Planet world I realistically don’t think those films will be in KHIV If I’m being honest with everyone and HMK, because even if many fans clamor and demand for their appearances, their inclusion will all fall down to whether Nomura, the development staff at Square Enix and Disney, especially the former really want to have that particular film as a world for that KH game along with if the film itself (e.g. Treasure Planet, Atlantis) would tie into KHIV’s theme of the game.
Secondly, while the majority say "Death" is the theme for _Kingdom Hearts IV,_ Nomura revealed in an interview that _Kingdom Hearts IV's_ main theme is actually "Contrast between people from different Positions" so I expect the likes of _Zootopia, Raya and the Last Dragon, Moana, Princess and the Frog_ and possibly _Encanto_ as among the possible new Disney worlds cause those films fit that theme that Nomura mentioned.
Think about it:
*Zootopia:* Difference in positions between Judy as a Cop to her Boss Chief Bogo, the Predator vs. Prey.
*Princess and the Frog:* Tiana and Facilier Difference in social Class from Charlotte and Charlotte's Father.
*Raya and the Last Dragon:* The different tribes wanting the Dragon gem causing it to break and Raya and Namaari's bitterness and distrust from one another from each of their Tribe's POV.
*Encanto:* Mirabel not being gifted while her other family members are gifted and Abuela Alma is at the top, while at the same time Mirabel figuring out why the miracle is dying and the magic within the house (Casita) being in danger.
Even the main setting of Quadratum being set in the "Unreality", could lead to another live-action Disney world making an appearance besides just Star Wars (retelling Return of the Jedi) and Tim Burton’s Alice In Wonderland could be an excellent choice for another Live-Action Disney world. Why this particular film, well because Nomura had mentioned in past interviews that it's one of his favorite Disney movies (specifically Live-Action Disney films) and he loves the character of the White Queen (Anne Hathaway's character), plus the environment and the world of Wonderland (Underland) itself could provide ties to the Unreality (The World of Fiction) while at the same time be a different interpretation of the Wonderland that Sora visited in his own realm, along with the fact that the film mirrors Sora being in Quadratum and questioning himself if it's a dream or "reality", similar to the older Alice when she arrives in Underland. Not to mention the film touches on the adult Alice trying to regain her sense of Wonder and belief which she lost by the time she’s an adult as the Mad Hatter says so himself, _"You’re not the same as you were before. You were much more….muchier. You’ve lost your muchness."_

I would not like to see this, I loved the addition of Pixar, and am more open to worlds like Star Wars and marvel but an anime world in no way is true to the series and makes no sense. However I always dreamed of a Ghibli or Spirited Away world and hearing Yoko’s take on one summers day as a world theme. I think Ghibli would fit kingdom hearts so well, something like Naruto on the other hand would make no sense on any front lol.

This does give strong tides with studio Ghibli so it would be easier for them and SE to gain permission to incorporate them in the Kingdom hearts. This would be a good move to drum up more Interest in Studio Ghibli movies which Disney would also profit from since they dub the movie.

I don’t know if this’ll happen since it was only in Dream Drop Distance but I want a return to Symphony of Sorcery. The world in DDD was really good, but they only used half the segments from Fantasia. The biggest one I want to see is the Rite of Spring since Sora could fight a T-Rex, but I think a dancing minigame in the Dance of the Hours segment could be fun. Also give Chernabog a proper rematch and not just a dive segment.
Sora will have to find something new to travel to different worlds since he no longer has the Gummi Ship.

Well, he could discover a way to change his keyblade into vehicle like how Ventus, Aqua, and Terra or he could figure out how to make light corridors (a light version of the portals the Organization used to get around worlds).
How I think it would play out is Sora first learns how to Formchange his keyblade into a vehicle then once the player's completed a world, he then makes the light portal to warp there, maybe at a save point or something.

I have literally asked for every single movie on this list for years. I would also add Sword in the Stone, Wreck-It-Ralph, Brother Bear, Brave, Inside Out, Soul, Wall-E, Cars and Bug’s Life!!!
The variety of worlds on this list is really good, but there are three franchises that I’d love to see: National Treasures (Live-Action, WALL-E (Animated), & Bedtime Stories (Live-Action).

One of my biggest questions is how they'll include the gummi ship (if they do at all). Will Disney worlds exist in space outside of Quadratum? Will every Disney world be played through the eyes of characters still in the KH side of reality and Sora's playable story be contained to Quadratum? Only tine will tell.
We don't really know, though Gummi travel probably isn't a thing in Quadratum since it's a different dimension with it's own set of rules.
Unless Sora learn on using keyblade glider but that will make it boring as gummi ship are essential in main KH. Here another important thing, will Sora fly solo or strelitzia follow him as a party member or somehow goofy and donald manage to get to Quadratum...
@@tetsuyaken1235. I suspect Strelitzia is gonna have some plot importance, though how exactly I have no idea. She would definitely make for a good party member both in terms of gameplay and story; Even if it's her data version, that still means she's incredibly out of time as she was put into the lifeboat in Daybreak Town before the apocalypse truly began, so she has no idea what happened to the world after she was sent to Quadratum. Also, it's still worth noting that Lauriam directly says that Strelitzia is even stronger in magic than he is, and we've already seen Marluxia's magic level in Chain of Memories.

I’ve heard there were rumours at one point that a sequel to zootopia could be made with birds and flying animals coming into play. But personally at this point I see it more as a Disney+ release. I hope it would theatrical.

Honestly, I thought 3 was a proper setup to have Treasure Planet because of that door that could lead the heroes/villains anywhere. To Kingdom Hearts for Xehanort....
But KH4 is also great for it. Sora trying to find his way back home would be a nice story for that world.
OOO this list sounds amazing!! I am not the only one that wanted Aladdin King of Thieves to be a KH world for Agrabah, since KH3 was in the works! That world would be so much for Sora to explore! Plus Black Cauldron, Atlantis, Treasure Planet, Princess and the Frog, Pocahontas, and Emperors New Groove are great choices on the list for those being great underrated disney movies!!

my dream world will forever be Meet The Robinsons ngl! The whole idea of "keep moving forward" and having to come to terms that things in the past will never be fixed can really work as a world! Also the idea that Sora thinks of Bowler Hat Guy as the villain but later realises he shouldn't judge a book by its cover could really do alot for his character i reckon. PLUS the movie is a childhood favourite of mine and i'd cry if it got in ngl :'D

DEFIANTLY an unrealistic idea, but just the thought of Sora meeting the white witch and wondering "dang, Elsa, when did you get so tall?" without realising hes in a completely different world makes me chuckle any time i think about it.

I’d like to see an Encanto world in the future. Maybe you could have a boss fight against Bruno’s Heartless brought by his gift from an alternate future where the darkness of being alone turned him into a Heartless.

This is the ideal list of worlds for me. It's a perfect mix of new and old Disney properties that tie into what Nomura is setting up with the Kingdom Hearts story moving forward. We will probably see Star Wars as a world, which I'm fine with, but I hope the rest of the worlds are taken from this list. Seriously, if they manage to get Treasure Planet in there with all the beautiful visuals we got from KH3...it'll automatically be the best Kingdom Hearts game for me. Well, that and if we got a cameo of 2B and 9S shopping for T-shirts in Quadratum...but that one is just a personal wish because I love NieR Automata way too much. I hope someone at Square Enix watches this though. I mean, we have to take in consideration that there may be one or two worlds returning from KH3...but this list is just perfect. I don't even like Black Cauldron but it would be so cool to see Sora navigating through the narrative of that film. I feel like Moana, Zootopia, and Coco will probably get in. I'm not as sure about the older properties listed...but I want them all. The Aladdin return in particular needs to happen. Great list! God bless you!
I said this in many other videos, but I think Turning Red´s world would be a good addition to Kingdom Hearts IV. Having Mei and her other friends (Miriam, Abby, Priya and Tyler) fighting alongside you in your party and seeing Mei transform into a Red Panda by her own choice when it´s necessary (when for example, when a special ability bar for her is full), having either a story that loosely follows the plot of the movie or, the one that for me would be much better, a story set after the events of the movie (like Toy Story´s Toy Box world which was set between the events of Toy Story 2 and Toy Story 3) and seeing Mei and her world important to the plot and the story. I watched that movie and for me, it´s was really inspiring, so, I really want to see her world included. It will be really fun and exciting!

I agree HMK. Treasure Planet is long overdue to be featured in Kingdom Hearts and I think it's time for it to be in the franchise
1:15. My sister and I keep on asking this on a regular basis: Why is Emperor's New Groove still not in Kingdom Hearts? The first movie even came out 1-2 years prior to the release of Kingdom Hearts 1, so they're practically sitting on a gold mine!
Soul eater is owned by square Enix btw and that plays on souls and hearts etc.. that would make amazing world

More than any of them, I would like to see Raya and the last Dragon in Kingdom Hearts, it was the best Disney movie since Moana and would fit soo perfectly
This is a very solid list honestly. I've ALWAYS wanted a Black Cauldron world and King of Thieves would be so cool and a change of pace for an Agrabah world. These could be really to explore in terms of environments as well. Imagine the cool tricks Sora could do. I'm still so curious how navigating Disney worlds will work with Sora in Quadratum.

Only other world I can think of, although it doesn't quite with the supposed themes of KH4, is Disney's Dinosaur; I've just seen a lot of cool fanart of Stygimoloch Sora. Honestly, it's just the aesthetic, and Dino-sora fighting dinosaurs is just too much of a fun idea not to utilise at some point.
Coco - The Land of the Dead, if that happens, it would be the best world in Kingdom Hearts 4.

Another side of me has Dr. Facilier making his deal with Riku or whomever and flashing their memories back at them (You know your friend was always there for you and anyone else he met. He pushed through when it all seemed lost, never letting people see how disappointed and broken he could have been when someone else did it better [Shadow Man shows him everything from Riku becoming a Master to Sora convincing him to come back to the ways of good]).
I know that this is insanely unlikely, but I would LOVE a world based on the Nier series in Kingdom Hearts💗
well Treasure Planet was once planend for Dream Drop Distance......so maiby Nomura had way bigger Plans for it and dropped it for a later game ;)
When i was kid i watched treasure planet almost everyday it was so good!
Treasure planet was supposed to be in dream drop distance. I just have a feeling if it wasn’t included in that game it might not happen at all but never say never!

@@quinnhouk5369 but Toy Story is a lot more loved and remember than treasure planet. With the exception, I think only Disney worlds from 2009 onwards will be used. Considering tiana from the princess and the frog is one of the new seven hearts.

Two more that I can think of are Robin Hood and Encanto. For Encanto darkness can manifest from each family member’s insecurities which turn into heartless that Sora has to defeat.

Speaking of Disney box office bombs that deserved to have a more spotlight as a world in Kingdom Hearts 4, I would like to see John Carter as a world in this game given that KH 4 is adopting a more realistic art style because not only would it be cool to explore the world of Barsoom aka Mars but also the fact that Sora can gain new abilities from that movie like super jump & strength, having John Carter & Jeddak as your companions as well as riding on Woola and you could even make the story a follow up to the film’s ending by having Sora team up with John Carter who return back to Barsoom to reclaim it back from the Therns who are also working with the Heartless. The only big downside to it is that it probably won’t happen as Disney not only like to pretend that movie doesn’t exist (even tho they were the one that purposely killed the movie) but also much like another Edger Rice Burroughs’s character Tarzan they lost the rights to John Carter and reverted them back to the Burroughs estate, still I’m holding out hope that Nomura can find a way. Personally I would also like to see Sky High and The Rocketeer there too as well.
Honestly I just want The Lion King to come back. Being able to run around as Lion Sora in an openworld pridelands sounds incredible.
It'd be dope if Sora had his concept design in a Zootopia world. Would be a cool little Easter egg for devoted fans.

This is a great list. You named a lot of good movies for KH4. As for me though, I’d love to see some Disney shows to be in there like the Owl House, Amphibia, and SVTFOE. But the number one show I want in KH4 is Gravity Falls. The show’s overall dynamic and characters fit perfectly with the nature of Kingdom Hearts. Another thing is that Bill Cipher would make a perfect villain for the game. I’d just love to see Bill use the power of the Kingdom Hearts to unleash Weirdmaggedon and spread it to every world.
I'd like to see them bring more live action Disney movies to Kingdom Hearts. We had Pirates of the Caribbean and we had the original Tron. Let's see more.

I'm still genuinely convinced some of the writers as Disney are writers for Kingdom Hearts. Worlds like Zootopia and Moana make so much sense. And with how KH3 tied the themes of movies like Frozen exploring how those closest to you have such strong connection to your heart, to Toy Story and Big Hero 6 exploring finding hearts in places where you wouldn't expect.
I think it's much more likely that a lot of the staff at Disney are big Kingdom Hearts fans.

I want a Treasure Planet world SO BAD, but i think that if they're gonna do a world with ships, cuz Disney probably doesn't want them to do Pirates anymore, it'll probably be Moana. The actual Treasure Planet blows up at the end, so it'd make going back to the world difficult if the main area you'd get to explore is destroyed. Moana would be easier to pull off, it's newer and could still be traversed easily after the main story. So while it hurts my heart, cuz Treasure Planet is my favorite movie, I don't think they'll do a whole world for it. Maybe it'll come into play with the Gummi ship, though!

I genuinely think that Sora won't go to any of these worlds. I think he's stuck in Quadratum for the whole time and it will be Riku (in the Gummi ship at the end of KH3) with Donald and Goofy going through the Disney Worlds, maybe even showing us the year that has passed since Sora went missing (before the Data battles and Yozora battle)
Except Riku at the end of Melody of Memory ends up traveling to Quadratum to bring Sora back to Reality.
@@dragonbornexpress5650 fully forgot about that... but what I meant is that KH4 will see where Riku went in the Gummi Ship in that year Sora was missing. So pre-MoM, pre-DataKH3, cos that's after a year of searching. Just judging from the KH4 trailer, Sora has been in Quadratum for 7 days already so there will be lots of solo Sora for a whole year alongside the events of Riku and the rest searching for Sora for a year. It's not properly explained what happened in that year, so that's my tenuous theory.

Counterpoint: Time in Quadratum could be a similar situation to when Aqua was trapped in the Realm of Darkness for 10 years, yet it was more like days and weeks to her; If we take this kind of template, then it's possible that Sora's been in Quadratum for 7 days while entire months have passed in Reality.

if we get Marvel they should do one of the Avengers movies, I really like to see how Sora and co react to the Thanos snap and see how Sora or even Riku react to some of their friends and Marvel heroes dusting away, which means if they do Infinity War, Endgame could be in the next title
however I think they should start with the original Avengers movie first
for returning worlds i want Pirates to come back and focus on the Blackbeard (makes sense for them to do him first instead of skipping him and go directly to Salazar)

Treasure Planet is my favourite Disney movie with no doubt. And while I'd love it to be a KH world, I'd hate Disney ruining it with a live action adaptation.

If we're gonna be exploring themes associated with the afterlife, then I would include Soul on the list. Concept of what makes a soul, the various departments, being able to crossover and wanting to live. Plus, the whole world of the souls makes an easy departure from the realism of Quadratum.
Inside Out is another world that would introduce a unique world design and kinda give a deeper look at Darkness starting to take hold of a person. Would also be a fun world to provide contrast to with the bright colors and designs as opposed to the darker storyline.
Finally, Encanto would be cool as you could do it following the main plot or do what they've done in previous games, where you're an outside observer to the movie plot. Like instead of mainly interacting with Mirabel, we meet Bruno first and watch things from inside the walls of Casita and fight off heartless while fixing the cracks. And Sora learns from Bruno about how removing himself from the situation doesn't always help like he intended, but even then, he couldn't completely leave them behind.
Agreed with all your points and theories on how things could fit but for some reason I still have a hard time believing there will be animated disney movies in KH4. I think animated worlds will be limited to cutscenes on worlds they already visited with Donald & Goofy and Sora only visits worlds like Star Wars, Marvel, and Live-action versions of Aladdin, Lion King, Maleficent etc and go for the unreality theme for this release
Two of those are probably not happening, though the reboot Maleficent movie would be very interesting since, rather than the iconic villain that she is in the original Sleeping Beauty, the live action version is much more complicated with her being more of an anti-hero rather than a villain. Not only would this be good for world variety, but it would also make Sora start to question what is truly light or darkness while also learning about how people in one universe can be completely different in another universe. Alternatively, this could cause Sora to draw parallels between the live action version of Maleficent and Xehanort: Both with good intentions, yet both use methods that are questionable at best to make those intentions a reality.

I think Disney is probably trying to forget Pocahontas exists. Also have we not had enough British stuff lol, rate we're going KH5 is gonna have the British Empire conquering the worlds as its plot

I’ve thought about a Pocahontas world before and tbh they don’t even need to include the British settlers in the plot of the world. It’s their inclusion that makes the movie problematic. But Disney worlds have excluded major aspects of the film’s plot and cast before and still made it work for the game. I think they can focus more on Pocahontas and her relationship with her tribe while still keeping the core of what I imagine they’d focus on narratively to fit with the game’s story. It’s not entirely out of the question and it’s not as if it wouldn’t work at all. I’d love a variation of this world that just showcased and represented indigenous American culture solely, that sounds like a great idea for a KH world. Also they’ve included every major Disney Renaissance film except Pocahontas, I lowkey want them to just round out the whole list lol.
Pocahontas, Moana, TPATF, Raya, and Frozen 2 are definitely worlds I want to see.

Honorable mentions from me for kingdom hearts 4 and missing link would be Robin Hood and the great mouse detective, both from the bronze/dark age of the Disney animated series cuz on one hand from the promotional art for missing link looks almost identical to the busy streets of London just by the atmosphere it brings and it looks perfect for solving some mysteries through the foggy town, and on the other hand to Sherwood Forrest in the kingdom of Nottingham where Robin and his merry men are overthrowing the corrupt prince John, stealing the rich and giving the poor, there’s a certain vixen who could look almost like master Ava and that’s maid Marian, weather Ava was disguised as Marian or not just so that she was in hiding for so long that she was considered a lost master, or Marian and Robin would be candidates for keyblade wielders under Ava’s guidance just like the dandelions and make their world and story repeat itself just to go under training in order to keep the light alive and fight the darkness.
