Great lesson Jeffrey. I’ve managed to get the pattern nailed - but rather slowly right now. Would love to know how to play a simple ending in A to go with it. Thank you
You could take this one in C and transpose it:

On your C and A strings, one after the other play the 4th fret, 3rd fret, 2nd fret then a hammer from open C to the 1st fret. Finish it off with and open A.
Okay Jeffrey, I haven’t checked your link out yet as I’ve only just seen the message, but I confess the ‘transposing’ thing is making me fearful! :) However I will check it out after trying your other suggestion, which looks doable for me, so I’ll let you know how I get on after I’ve given it a little time to work on. I’ve got this now Jeffrey, including the blues ending. I think I’m playing it right, ie after the final E7 then straight into the 12-note ending. It’ll get smoother from practice I’m sure. Thanks very much. 😀

There are handouts from Nov. 8th, 2023, Oct. 30, 2023, Sept. 19th, 2023, June 7th, 2023, and especially May 5th 2023 that are picking pattern related. The May 5th one is what I recommend you download and print out.
Some may be patron only and some free to the public. If you go back further, there are lots of other handouts for picking. Let me know how you fare.
