Uncredited silent footage, circa 1945, of various vaudeville and circus-style performances including dancing, acrobatics, slapstick comedy and more. Also includes extensive footage of the British Navy marching in a street parade in Melbourne. One shot appears to be Elizabeth Street, featuring trams and the Flinders Street Station clocktower.

Thanks for a good bit of Melbourne history.
The vaudeville style acts fit in with what the Melbourne Tivoli in Bourke St was famous for until its closure around 1965.
Others may have more definite views.

A quick search found that / the Royal Navy battleship HMS King George V, of the British Pacific Fleet, berthed at Station Pier, Port Melbourne on 29th in 1945.
