PVP Hunting Guide - D Scan and How to Find Content - Eve Online

- Hey everyone, I created a video to show people how I hunt and find content. I go over the things I always check every time I jump into a new system, Where krabs normally hang out, how to use your dscan tool to find ships in space, and some in game and third party tools to find where people are in space. Guaranteed the fastest way to become loved by your corp as you provide them with kill after kill out on your roams. Also a bonus fail clip of a very tanky ishtar.

been playn for bout 3weeks n i just couldnt quite figure out how to use the dscan to find where ships are, but that looked pretty simple thanks! :) ..that battle was still pretty close, i was suprised ur little ship did so well.. proof bigger isnt always better

I normally win more then I lose against ishtars in the kiki but that was a very well tanked ishtar, he was a little slow but played it right. Alot of people panic and dont swap to light drones.

I'm amazed the bots were on grid that long. They usually warp within seconds. Also, the garmur is the best scout/hunter 😊 or keres the damps are killer
Yeah usually very frustrating can hit them first scan and in warp to them in like 4 seconds and I usually watch them warp off as I land lol and the garmur is a beast hunter/scout. Sig radius is a little big though and can't solo an ishtar =( i use stilletos on my alts or a blingy male if I'm mainboxing tackle usually. Even rapid lights struggle applying.

2:28 I would say that there is at most 3 people in the local
5:15 notice the distance on your d-scan when hunting, the last 2 havens that were scanned were too far away.

Hello. How do you do this with calm face? Kikimora is quite expensive and you lost one without even thinking of running away. How do you fund this?
Do PvP kills yield fortune?
Lol yeah I blow alot of isk pvping. You can make decent isk from faction warfare, otherwise pvp doesn't pay that well but I am a station trader I've made like 250bil the past 2 years so it's not a big deal losing ships anymore.
Why didn’t you turn off the mwd when he sent out the light drones? It helps you outspeed the heavies, but against the lights it just makes you a bigger target cause of sig rad
Well the lights track you just fine at that speed, but I still had rat aggro that I was avoiding with my mwd. Not to mention the drones mwd cycle off and they get a few seconds of missing sometimes. Still mitigate more damage leaving it on.
TBH the state of ishtar bots doing this to hunters, being able to kill anything that can catch them and warp off before anything threatening, is a huge part of what killed the game over the past 5 years. Sub 10k uniques is a weird fucking world.
Yeahhh Ive largely given up on hunting krabs. A T2 cheap fit ishtar is able to tank a silly amount of DPS, they are able to apply a silly amount of DPS with their drones which is very difficult to mitigate. Even if you do kill them you're lucky to get like 8 mil in loot as theyre so cheap. Anom rat aggro changes so that you now take full room rat aggro as soon as you land in the anom is absurd. All on top of them only having to pay the slightest bit of attention to easily be able to warp off to safety. Game is STACKED towards the krab.
@@Bulldagshunter Yeah I used to do it with a retribution, but they buffed ishtars. Then I did it with a hecate, but they buffed ishtars. etc.

Yeahhh its super sad you basically need a specialized t3c to be able to kill an ishtar these days, then you just get baited and hotdropped. But yeahh they certainly have catered to the masses. @@AronFigaro
how did you break the bots?
I was in local for like a half hour recording and screwing around. I think some bots dock up for like 20 mins once a neut enters local but they... cant? or dont check if a neutral stays in local? Not the first time ive noticed that sitting in local for an extended period.
how do you kill an ishtar using a kiki?
You need to be a little bit lucky with not taking too much rat aggro/ecm rats and its much easier not in drone or angel space where they are tanked to explosive. But full spool with mystic is about 580 dps up to like 660 overheated. Which is enough damage to kill an ishtar.
