- Here is my review on the Night Cat 4 in 1 hammock. Yes a 4 in 1 hammock. One of a kind and perfect for them woodland camps. This is my own personal review and I really like this set up. so many ways to use it and best of all it is waterproof like a tent.

enjoy!
Got mine in April and set it up and left it out till June. It did not leak. For the doors I use a magnet and washer to hold it open ! 👍👍😁
Great idea for the door that. I like the hammock and the quality of it seems spot on too. Thanks for watching!
Nice mate good review !!! It's a propper piece of kit isn't it. Nicely demonstrated.... I was wondering how you'd fund it being tall but looked nee botha..... let's get the cats together 🤣👊
It's stronger than what I thought it would have been. No splits, tears or anything. Yeah mate perfect size and really comfortable too.
Yes we been to get a woodland camp done with them and a date set definitely
Nice hammock and great review. Thank you for sharing 👍
Thanks for watching 😊
Allllll the cats
Looks class that mate, defo something I'd use
Well the last thing I need is a 5th hammock but you nearly sold that to me there 😂 god sake why am I such a camping gear fiend 😄
Great video mate, look forward to checking out some more of your content
Haha its an absolute cracker. I love using it and will be alot more in the summer. Thanks for watching and I have also subscribed to your channel!
Nice review. Never done a hammock camp before, looks fun to try 😊 wonder how it holds up in the wind?
I love a hammock camp and more so in the summer. Usually the wind isn't bad is the woodland but it should be fine. If anything a tarp over the top down to the floor nearly would stop the drafts from getting up too
Subbed. I want one of these hammocks sites wierd though. Keep jumping from shipping to UK then says US shipping only. And on ebay people are trying to sell these for over a £100 when you can get one for £75 on site.
I like the idea of this cocoon, but condensation is an issue. Also a separate tarp allows your to take shelter before setting up camp, and while cooking.
NightCat now has a flat lay version of this. It looks nice but way heavier. Only for moto or car camping imho.
I just ordered an Amok, for bike touring.
If I were to go backpacking I’d go with a Crosshammock.
I'm intrigued by the lay flat hammock...................
@@lauriebloggs8391 saw on one of the hammock fb groups that many people had their lay flat nightcat hammocks break here and there. Mostly the poles. One person even after THREE USES ONLY!
So yeah… I do not recommend it (though I don’t have that one). My Amok is super sturdy and reliable. Very flat and comfortable so far tbh
Thank you, I hadn't heard that. The Amok is undoubtedly the RollsRoyce but beyond my budget and too bulky.@@pedroclaro7822
loving this hammock tent... Do you have a link as to where you bought it please ??
I love the set up. It offers so much. Ive seen a lot of outdoors channels reviewing this and have heard rumours that nightcap have been handing them out like toffees, is this an affiliate review? Reason for asking is I want an unbiased review. Cheers. Jimmy
Yeah night cat ask if you want one to which I only accept based on if its something I actually use. Its a non biased review as I owe them nothing to say its good. I like this Hammock and the only bad thing I could find about it on the first look at it is that flysheet door as the toggles are the same width as it so it doesn't really hold it up. I have 3 hammocks and this is actually really good when I compared them. The materials seem of good quality which is surprising for the price of £75.
Can you sleep in it shifted off-center by like 20 degrees like you would in other hammocks without touching the outer hull?
Yeah the outer Hull is a big distance away from you inside. It's so spacious.
@@MarkOutdoors_ thanks :) Holy **** I don't need this thing but I want it.
Do you suggest night cat hammock or DD traveler + 3x3 tarp for a 1.75m person? The price for the setups is the same in my conutry
I prefer a hammock and a tarp set-up as you can put you bag and other item under a tarp aswell as your hammock and it Will all still be dry if it rains.
@@MarkOutdoors_ thank you very much! A lot of people gave the same suggestion as well!
They do a Lay Flat version................
They looks so good them do.
Nice one 👍 How many times did you fall out 😂
Actually I did once 🤣 forgot to open it right up before stepping back 🤣🤣🤣
@@MarkOutdoors_ 🤣
Have you tested if it’s fully waterproof?
I did with a hose and it didn't let any in. But it would take a real world test really. The only exposed part is the bottom so if the rain was to come in at a angle with hard wind it would get wet.
I'd imagine you'd have the typical calf pain. And assume you can't sleep asymmetrically.
Best comfortable sleep you can have.
@@garrygadget I feel the same way about my overly priced Warbonnet Blackbird XXL. Although I'd be inclined to try the Amok hammock.
A peg that is not much different from mine
Very short though
Still out of stock
I believe then underquilt will get wet if it was to rain. A regular tarp will be better
Had one, ripped and broke within 3 weeks, very flimsy tent attachment, went back to hammock and tarp.
I have returned to a hammock and tarp as I find the extra cover of a tarp is better for keeping your gear dry under it.
