G'day love your video mate you sold me on this hammock tent, the blue mountains in Australia the ground is tough as shit so hopefully the pegs go alright. Also refreshing hearing your accent dont get that yankee nasal sound in my ear was able to watch the whole thing. Love the vid mate will be watching more of your content.
Thanks mate ,in retrospect I think I’d go for a standard hammock with a tarp instead of this . Ah great I hope you enjoy my proper camps thanks for watching 👍🏻
@@wombathead87 yeah it’s great mate nowt wrong with it just I imagine getting changed and that would be easier in wet weather under a tarp that’s all . Great hammock this tho
one of these plus a large A frame tarp above this on a seperate line, can keep all your stuff underneath you nice and dry in the rain and a small fire under you off centre traps heat in during the cold
@@alessioolivieri5460 well iv only ever used the nightcat hammock but the rain fly means you have no where to get changed or put your bag of it’s raining,I recently bought myself the dd tarp and it’s great so in future I’ll use the hammock body and the dd tarp
You’re laying in the hammock straight and AFAIK you’re supposed to do it diagonally- spread the weight and get a flatter lay. Neat review, I’m considering buying it VS a traditional hammock with a ridge line and separate mosquito net and tarp - modularity also means versatility… idk
Ahhh that makes sense thanks for that mate I’ll do that next time I use it 👍🏻. Yeah I think i will end up getting a tarp to do the same and loose the fly
Say brother...put a marble in the bugnet, and tie it down to the ribs...it shouldn't hurt the netting and problem solved..but everyone's correct.they should of made something for it .
Super vídeo perfect thanks you so much ... I am from Panamá
Tyvm from Canada . Buying 1
@@user-mv3vu7bu6p I think in retrospect I would probably buy a stand alone hammock and a tarp , although it is convenient that it’s all in one
@ROBOLOGY.wildcamping I'm thinking of a kompound hammock from onetigres, ever try 1
@@user-mv3vu7bu6p no iv never used one of those, I hear good things about the company tho , and dd hammocks are supposed to be good
Such an adventure , nice tips too bro. Hopefully in the future I get to explore and as I learn from you
Exactly what I need for my roadtrip !
Another great video mate 👌
Thanks mate 👍🏻

@@ROBOLOGY.wildcamping good point didn't think of that. Cheers again .

Hahaha it’s not 2 bad when you get comfortable
Nice1 m8

Yeah I think I’ll use just the hammock and bug net and then a tarp like you say mate
Apart from the horrendous heavy metal.intro, your video is excellent. Well done. By far the best detailed review of this hammock/ tent setup. 👍👍👍
Haha thanks a lot mate 👍🏻
Do you suggest night cat hammock or DD traveler + 3x3 tarp for a 1.75m person? The price for the setups is the same in my conutry
I would go for the dd tbh mate
@@ROBOLOGY.wildcamping thanks for the response, can I ask you why? Is it more comfortable or what?

may i ask how tall you are so i can compare heights before i buy one for myself
Yeah I’m 5.8 mate , if I was you I would go for a dd hammock and tarp instead of this tbh

Yeah good idea mate I’ll try that
Bargain for the price rob,but not for me,tried a tarp,nah,tried a hammock,double nah 😂
Tent all day for me,looks good though 👍
Yeah it’s not bad at all , haha yeah I’m still a tent man but I will use this in the future enjoyed swinging about in it .
