Thank you for the great video. I will be able to replace them myself. Out of curiosity. Do you know how many miles the intruder had?
    Thank you again!

I don’t know how many miles it had or if I did I forget. Sorry about that.

Thanks a lot mate, I’ve just changed them fast and easy, those bastards were going to charge me 500 pesos for this quick and easy job, will spend them on beer

Awesome!! They are pretty easy to do. The money is better spent on beer anyhow :)

@@TSWGarage614 dude my gas pump stopped working but somehow my bike still works , it’s a 2007 intruder s83 , the problem is the cold start in the morning I guess the fuel evaporates in the carburetors and there’s no pump to fill them up

Have you tried to remove the fuel line from the Carb (the one right under the tank) turn on the key and see if you get gas? Maybe the relay also? Unless that is how you know the pump stopped working. This is going to be a dumb question but I am going to ask, you are using your choke when it is cold, right?

@@TSWGarage614 yeap using choke when it’s cold , the pump just not make that pssss sound when I turn the ignition on, the relay supposed to cut the fuel when turn off isn’t it?
      Sorry for malo English

But if the relay is not working the fuel pump will not work.
      This is from the manual.
In order to supply supplement fuel when starting the engine, by turning the starter switch ON, current is sent directly from the battery and passes through the de-compression control unit and is reached the fuel pump relay. Fuel pump relay controls operation of the fuel pump.
      After starting the engine:
The current generated at NO. 2 Ig . coil (front cylinder) flows to the fuel pump relay's control circuit. The control circuit receives this current and send signal to the SCR, turning it ON, When the SCR turns ON, current is sent from the battery through the fuel pump relay, thus operating the fuel pump. For safety purposes the fuel pump stops automatically when the engine stop producing ignition spark and the signal from the coil is not sent.
This is for the 1996 Intruder but should be the same for yours, or I would guess it would work the same. Basically when the coil sends a signal the the relay the pump works and when no signal from the coil it turns the pump off. That is how I read it anyhow.
