I found Epic the Musical 2 years ago and have wanted to create an animatic ever since! I am super happy to finally have the time to do so now. (:

I feel bad for Odysseus, people call him stupid, and hate him because people die because of him but could he do against, for example Scylla? Or how could he have known Poseidon was coming for him? I think Thunder Bringer is enough and I don't him to suffer anymore after Thunder Saga. We are supposed to root for him and not hate him through and through. Also love this song, I think I am enchanted by Calypso.

Theirs a theory that Percy Jackson is the reincarnation of Odyssey so he met calypso twice and plus she’s his greatest what if. Also odyssey is an aspect of the eternal champion making him a bringer of balance which Percy brings to the gods
The son of poseidon (who hated him despised him made him lost in sea for more then a decade rivals with athena caused many problems for him) isent that a coincidence! (Also percy is freinds with a daughter of athena?? Good theory ngl
@@-ayesha- right and if you’ve seen epic the musical I find myself shipping odyssey’s with Athena saying if he wasn’t Loyal to his wife a d she wasn’t a madien they would be together and look a s behold Percy fatal flaw is excessive loyalty and he falls in love with Annabeth who ironically looks the most like Athena plus just like Athena and odyssey they both fight and argue like them and in the warrior of the mind I remember a younger odyssey saying best of friends to Athena now that’s a coincidence

Why is this song not in the soundtrack? I’m trying to find the musical too, is this not a full production or?
The musical is actively being made. The official soundtrack is just all the songs that have been polished so far.
There are only two official albums available for the musical right now, with the third coming on Christmas. They’re called Sagas, the Troy Saga and Cyclops Saga can be found on any streaming platform. The Ocean Saga will be available the same way
When will the rest of these songs be put on Spotify?

@@insaem7550Her father was a Titan so after the war calypso was banished to live alone in the island where she spent her entire life alone (basically a glorified prison since she can’t leave) dreaming of having someone else, of not being alone. She had hope. She believed odysseus was what she’d been dreaming of. Calypso was simply lonely. This was the only person she’d ever met. Odysseus was pretty much her only chance at love.
Her father was a Titan, and she supported him during their war with the gods.
As punishment. She's been imprisoned on that island. Entirely alone. For the entire rule of Zues. So, she spent thousands upon thousands of years, hoping for company by this point.
