I always thought the elbows need to be touching your body, but I also found that 45 degree was the best position for easy push ups. Now it explains why.
From personal experiences, do what feels right, after few repeated mistakes your body will complaint & send signals if you're doing it wrong. Pay attention to those signals and then correct accordingly.

I'm now at 130 pushups a day since its March and the results are insane. When I started a year ago, I could barely do 10 pushups, now I can crank out 60 pushups and hold my breath the whole time. I know that's not healthy but it shows the endurance I've built

My shoulders look odd when I do push ups and it’s really bothering me since I’ve noticed. I don’t get any pain but it’s like my right shoulder just moves by itself whereas my left shoulder stays in a more stable position 🤦🏽♂️ any tips or advice on what to do?
@@anasbel9266 I’ve got to see a chiropractor and he suggest that we do posture adjustment and overtime of repetitive stretches & exercises it will be more even. See a chiropractor and go from there!
Thank you for this. I need to improve my push ups in 7 days for a test, hopefully your video does the trick. This is the first time I've struggled with them. I struggle keeping my body straight and going low enough. While I've been training, I've not been going low enough and the front of my shoulder/arm pit hurts when I do them, I assumed I'd damaged my shoulders. Apparently it's my form.

Between all of the guys on CZcams telling us what not to do in the gym, I’ve about decided to just quit going all together ha.
