    Watch the whole 20 minute set for the best performance you will ever see! I knew nothing about queen or Freddie Mercury until I saw the movie Bohemian Rhapsody back in 2018 and I have become a massive fan since then. I could watch them perform all day. You should also check out their Wembley 86 full concert. It is 🔥 also, he did not die shortly after this performance. He went on to live another six years. RIP Freddie ❤

    I had heard of Queen obviously but never really heard a lot of their music. My dad had Bohemian Rhapsody on TV a couple months ago. First time I knew/heard their whole story. Then about 2 weeks ago I looked up the whole live aid performance. I literally cried. Freddy is incredible, so unique and can control a crowd like no other!

    GUYS….
    FYI, THE MOVIE IS FULL. OF. INACCURACIES. (I guess they changed things to “make it more interesting “).
    One of the BIGGEST FALSEHOODS was that Freddie was NOT officially diagnosed until TWO YEARS AFTER Live Aid. He also NEVER. LEFT. THE BAND. As-a-matter-of-fact, just a few months before Live Aid, Queen had helped establish/then headlined the FIRST-ever (STILL annual) Rock In Rio music festival to audiences of approx. 300,000 at each show. (To compare: This Live Aid audience was “only” about 78,000.)
    The film also made it seem like Live Aid was their “big finale”, which is WRONG… They did their biggest-ever tour the following year, inc. being the FIRST-ever Western music band to play behind the Iron Curtain. And then, even tho the band retired from live touring for Fred’s health, they recorded material for THREE more awesome albums… and FREDDIE RECORDED AN ALBUM OF OPERA!
    P.S. Freddie was actually sick during the Live Aid show, tho: He had a TERRIBLE throat infection, and his Dr. didn’t even want him to do the performance. When Queen’s set was over, Fred took a swig of vodka/said that “his throat felt like he’d been GARGLING W SHARDS OF GLASS”.

    • @ellet6560
      @ellet6560 Před rokem

      Also, the movie portrays Freddie as a pompous diva who walked about with an air about him as if being superior to his bandmates. Nope. Of course all bands have "hash it out moments" while recording but they all, including Freddie, had a great deal of respect for one another. The four each contributed equally to the band and Freddie was the LAST one of the four to embark on a solo project. Plus, the guys never broke up and had just wrapped up a tour a few months prior to Live Aid. I hate Biopics!

    This is so awesome. I'm so confused on something I don't know why this came up but I used to have this friend and I felt we were close. I don't know I saw something. The point is I don't get how someone can hate and disrespect someone and try to get them down but I run into these things that everything I've ever talked or has came out of my mouth this used to be friend of mine Says everything I've said and has believed everything I've said. So it makes me wonder how anyone can do that. I'm not being smart that baffles me so much and makes it that sad I guess. Oh well I'll never get it. Thanks for the cool vid man yeah your right the way he commands the stage is amazing.

    Gotta do Queen’s 20 min. set list which has gone down in rock history as one of the best live performances by a rock band! The “who’s who” of rock n roll were all there & each artist was given 20 min to perform! Queen practiced using giant white clocks to keep them within the 20 min. If an artist went over the time,💥 power was cut off. 😮

    I am a Londoner who was 31 then and 68 now. The crowd? "Officially" LOL.....there was 72,000 which is nonsense. That old Wembley stadium held 100,000 in the seats and terraces(standing) and even if the 30,000 behind the stage and on the hidden sides were empty (I don't know) then that is 70,000 PLUS EVERYONE ON THE PITCH itself! There MUST have been 100,00+. lol Freddie was under Doctor's Orders NOT to sing and that was NOT A Queen crowd but they were one of 20 Acts that day but they stole the show and came back, hours later, for one more song in the darkness.

      The scripture doesn't single out homosexuality. It includes all sexual immorality, such as adultery, plus greed, slanderers, swindlers, drunks & thieves. All sin is equal in God's eyes & Freddie stood before God just as we all will. Remember that only those without sin can throw stones; none of us are clean enough to judge another.

      @Elle T Freddy Mercury's was gay so it is talking about him! Homosexuality is mentioned so it's talking about him! There are plenty of verses that condemn that lifestyle like Genesis 19 where God destroys Sodom and Gomorrah because of Homosexuality! Basically it's a sin and God is angered and grieved by it! God is Holy and must judge sin and because Freddy did not know Jesus he did not inherit the Kingdom of God as 1Corinthians 6:9-10 states!
