Tired of your old jeep renix wiring?

Over the entire year I have been working on the wiring and dash for the Jeep Comanche. I added the needed components to the 5.3 engine to include spark plug wires, starter, intake seals, sensors etc. built and installed the clear dash. spent at least 40 hours figuring out and connecting wires. drank about 6 gallons of diet dr pepper. build fuel lines, set up the fuel tank and verified engine oil pressure. Now let's see if this engine will start.
My goal for the end of the year was to have the engine started and I am relieved because I didn't know up until this point if the engine harness or engine for that matter was going to be any good. now that we're successful, that's a couple thousand that I don't have to spend replacing anything. on to bigger and less aggravating projects.

Well this is a cool project! Looks like both a headache (at least at times, part of the journey) and lots of fun! I bet every stage where you get something significant to work is really rewarding. That engine looks friggin’ clean too. Did you just dress it up outside or did you refresh the internals as well?

Definitely a rewarding experience. The engine is all stock besides a shorter/backwards intake and moving the accessories around. I'm leaving it for now because I'm thinking I'll have plenty of power for this little truck. I've got plans for another project that might take a cam or other upgrades but I don't wanna get ahead of myself.
