- When I bought my cutlass I wasn’t planning on doing so many upgrades so soon but the car had its own plans so far I have repaired some rust primed the body replaced the whole suspension and brakes to coil overs in the front on tubular control arms and rear had tubular trailing arms and sure lift air bags, We rebuilt the engine and trans and have some interior to install along with sway bars but it’s all been done in my garage and I’m super proud to be able to say that!
I own a 68 Cutlass Supreme. Only have had it couple years but I love working on restoring it. Can't wait till its finally in tip top shape, probably be 10 years from now lol. But I'm excited for it. So heres love from a fellow Olds owner. Awesome car. Thx for sharing.
YOU SHOULD DO A HURST OLDS CLONE SILVER AND BLACK . WHAT MOTOR DO YOU HAVE . 68 IS A GREAT BODY STYLE IS IT A BUCKET SEAT INTERIOR .
those front buckets you have are out of a 68 GTO, i have the exact same set for my 68 Cutlass. what makes them interesting is they are 68s with head rests. very rare option that year, option code 571 at an additional cost of $52 when new, adjusted to todays money would be around $400, its quite obvious why almost nobody ordered them back in 68, seeing how almost no cars at the time even had head rests.
Cool project man.
Love to see the rebuild of that gem…
It’s an ongoing process that I think I’ll never finish 😂
nice to see someone work with what they had and not Ls the car. I picked up my 243,00 mile 68 4-4-2 a few years ago, $4500 turnkey. Wasn't even looking for it, but two prior interested buyers screwed up and now I have it.
Great save!
This video and cutlass is awesome!!
That thing is sick bro 👍👍
Sick? You must need to go to the doctor
Keep the original rally wheels paint it midnight blue with black rally stripes on the hood and rear deck lid and put trumpet exhaust
Amazing!
Sounds good
It's clean I been looking for 1
It’s not as clean as it looks in pics but it’s fun to drive!
It's clean but yes I bet fun as fuckk to drive
Nice car
Great, love it.
Its come along way
Be cognizant of winter road salt kicking up onto the undercarriage and accelerating rusting. I know a couple of guys whose prized cars remain garaged until all the salt has washed off the roads.
Nice job... keep up the good work
Is that car stock height? Just wondering because I have a 71 cutlass and it looks much lower
It had higher springs in it I’m thinking from a wagon. I’ve lowered it since
How much you put into this…?
Where did you get the tubular control arms and spindles.
Control arms I got off eBay. Spindles came with my great stuff brake kit. If you need part numbers I can check for you
@@Ericuribe09 yeah I would like that how much was the brake kit I got a 69 I'm working on
I went with vented rotors and braided lines so it was 750$ but it starts at 500$ off summit
May ash How much cost to you all the part (labor?)
How do I know you aren’t my wife using a fake account?
@@Ericuribe09 check my account and see how many years it was active?
Check all my randoms comments on video games/car detailing stuffs? Was asking because i want to jump on muscle car scene and looking how much i need to spend (at least ball park). Thanks im advance thought
@@Carlos.Rivera Im just messing around. Im around 10k inn. Including the purchase of the car that isn’t including labor cause I’ve done everything myself.
@@Ericuribe09 alright... nice job
@@Ericuribe09 .....as a woman, I wouldn't mind at all a hubby with this hobby to focus on--assuming money allotted for household expenses wouldn't instead be getting plowed into a muscle car and then there's an empty fridge. Gorgeous vehicle--I did in fact see the potential and definitely appreciate a fine looking muscle car. Yes, one of the rare women who do--thanks to having grown up all around Boomers who loved these tricked up cars.
