Excellent video to fortify & support my efforts to explain to my Catholic family & friends they are not "going to Mass but going to a Protestant worship service" and that it is urgent they depart from attending & especially receiving, what I call "dirty bread", because the hands giving it to you are filthy, be they priest or, God forbid, lay-person & then, from their filthy paws to your filthy hands. I'm 71 & brought as a Catholic, our mother & our catechism nuns taught us why the Catholic priest's hands are consecrated. It's tough getting those poor Catholics who were not, at least, 10 yrs old in 1962 to grasp much about Catholism by telling them they are neither catholic nor protestant but, are The New Adventists, as Pope Francis calls his new church - The Church of the New Advent. Other challenges I have convincing "former" Catholics & the New Adventists, is Protestantism is still a heretical religion & remains outside the Catholic church. But this is a strange thing to me, they are able to grasp that dogma-(hope I'm using the term correctly, if not pls correct me-TY)-quite easily, but have more difficulty accepting there is no salvation outside of the Catholic church; but then again, they and the church of the new advent were children growing up together, the church of the new advent being the older sibling, naturally.

Please repost this talk given by Michael Davies. Everyone should hear this to find out what happened to the Catholic liturgy of the mass.

The modernists think that the Latin mass is simply a tradition, perhaps to be sentimental over, but not one that has a role in the present. What they don't understand is the truth contained in tradition. The Novus Ordo mass does not adequately display that truth. The activities at my local N.O. Mass are 'all over the place', not focused.

Why don't you just translate the Tridentine Mass into the local vernacular and get rid of the Novus Ordo entirely?

@@tracygriffin4439 That's already approved, but it doesn't matter significantly anyways since almost all of the sayings in the Tridentine Latin Mass is quite inaudible to the participants.

It's not that the modernists misunderstand, it's that they want to destroy the Church.

@@amediocrecatholic7398 most of the priests don't know Latin and are intimidated by it. A vernacular form of the old Mass would make it much easier for them to make the switch.

I disagree with Mr. Davies about the value of Pope Pius XII's "Restoration of Holy Week" which he promulgated in 1956. To me this "restoration," which removes a whole lot more than it restored, seems designed only to reduce its aesthetic and inspirational value.

I agree. He started the work that was carried on by John 23 and Paul VI. It was unnecessary and tempting Providence. We have paid the price with mass worldwide apostasy.

Can we get a list of the Vatican II experts? If the things said in this lecture are true, it is 100% certain they acted with purely malevolent intentions
