Metal Detecting is a good way of chilling out, its a good bit of therapy, fresh air, long walks. Its also a bit like those unboxing videos you see on youtube because even though you have an idea of what's buried below your feel you're never really sure. I love watching people such as Aquachigger, NuggetNoggin, Dr Tones, Addictedtobleeps, Si Finds, DALLMYD and Digger Dawn. I've been Detecting with Deep Digger Dan during his digging the coast 365, that was fun. I used his XP Deus... Very light. I started out using the Garrett Ace 250 and then added a Nel Tornado coil. After that I started using a Nokta Makro Kruzer and some how managed to find so much more on land I thought had been detected to death. Silver coins, WWII badges and bullets and down the beach I've even found GOLD and Silver Rings. In my latest video I've finally found a Roman Coin and A Saxon Strap End. Great tips arron, esspecially the headphone power one. I was unsure about that being new to nokta makro and all. Would love a bit of a VDI/audio tones walk through demo type thing as I still think I'm missing stuff in the field due to not hearing it correctly. I seem to be brilliant at locating large bits of farm machinery but the coins are eluding me so far! I've been advised to stick with it and persevere which is what I intend on doing, but a little help would go a long way.😊

Great vid! Just got a simplex today. On the back of the arm rest, there looks to be a spline of some sort that something may attach to. Do you know what that is?
The spine... as yet no. The section on the back of the arm cup is for the battery pack you can buy so it can be run off AA power cells if needed.

Thanks for the tips Aaron.....one thing i need to ask is when " pairing ".. i have managed to get the headphones up and running but unlike in the instructions where it says " blue led blinks every second " my light is flashing a whole lot faster than that... is this an indication of a problem ?. any ideas ? tia.
Not that I know of, if it beeps 5 times after a full charge and stays connected it should be ok

Hey does the simplex work with other water proof headphones besides the nokta brand? Also how do you feel about setting ground balance to 0.00 for beach hunts? Other sources recommend this, have you tested 0.00?
Only Nokta Makro wireless headphones sadly, yes 00.0 has been tested on the beach and it has been fine for me 👍
So the only difference between Field and beach mode is the 3 discrim notch??
No the recovery speed of beach is quicker I believe... but field is deeper
Why the back side speaker is open is it waterproof?
