    The Simplex+ & Simplex Lite have a few differences besides performance...
    Simplex+ runs 12KHZ while the new generation of Simplex run 15KHZ.
    The Simplex Lite does not have the ability to pair bluetooth headphones so consider that if it's important to you.
    The Simplex+ comes stock with the 11" round coil while the Simplex Lite comes with the 9 x 5" coil.
    Simplex Lite has a little more simplified tones compared to the Simplex+.
    Just wanted to do a simple comparison, let me know if you want something more in depth. :)

      Hey Austin, I would bet on it: Finding Silver Coins in a Park: that the original simplex+ @12khz and a SP22 DD coil in field mode and iron volume off would go deeper than the Lite and BT. :)

    For years I’ve wanted to detect and dig, but just never did get around to it. Finally did a ton of CZcams watching and ordered the Simplex Lite to assure that I like it and if I don’t, I’m not out a ton.
    Pretty much the consensus across most boards was that the lite is a fantastic starting point. This video confirms that as well. So now I’m even more excited for it to come in 😂

    Morning another great video. I've been on the plus for about 4 years now and love the machine.
    Don't get me wrong I'd love to upgrade to the legend but can't afford it at moment.
    I will always keep the plus though as it is an amazing machine.
    Just one thing I noticed during your videos on the plus, you probably already know this but you don't need to scroll through all your menu to get back to detect mode, when you have changed your setting in menu, just hit the up button and it will return you to detect mode.
    As I say you prob already know that though

    Hey yeah I simplex + and it will let you know that there is a target in the ground but felt that it was difficult to avoid digging bottle caps on the beach and ended up selling it. But other than that it does work but it is sparkie around salt water wet sand. A frequency shift and maybe you can run both at the same time.

    • @carolrice2063
      @carolrice2063 Před 9 měsíci +1

      You will need to go ahead and look at the Minelab Detector's and if he is just starting out Detecting then the X-Terra Pro is a totally good choice for the Beginner's Detector and the price of it is more than half of the top end Detector's cost at $269 dollars and it's a Multiple Choice Frequencies Detector that the competition is only using 1 frequency and I personally have had a bunch of Detector's over the 50 years of Detecting and Minelabs Detector's are more than what I was expecting to get and I don't know why that It took me so long to get one.....

      @@billweser8931 And it will be a great target competition between the two Detectors if you choose a New Minelab Detector and well the next time you go to the detector store to get his own Detector do try out the X-Terra Pro and anything Minelab but especially the X-Terra Pro and take some of the Steel Target's and Aluminum Targets, that you have found with the Legend Detector with you and try them out before you actually buy the Detector for the son -in-law and I have traded the Simplex + off and got a Equinox 600 but the numbers are different than what I'm use to and the X-Terra Pro is great and I have also taken some Steel Target's that the Simplex+ told me that there's a great target there but it wasn't even close but the X-Terra Pro doesn't sound off on them And also the Equinox doesn't either And I love the X-Terra Pro ❤..

      Good choice but Xterra pro has very unstable vdi and Simplex not

    • @carolrice2063
      @carolrice2063 Před 9 měsíci

      @@petervandenbosch6353 not Really that unstable when you get to know what it's trying to tell you about what it's found in the ground and I have the X-Terra Pro and I ❤️❤️❤️❤️ IT and I can't stand the Simplex Duck Hunting Tone's another second and that's also from personal experience when I was using the Simplex + and NOW that I have the X-Terra Pro I'm not digging up ALOT of the Simplex Iron Quarter Tone Targets that the Simplex told me that there's a Valid great target there but it was nothing else but Junk Iron and the X-Terra Pro Jumpy VDI is the only detector that is actually telling me about the target and then I would not be digging up ALOT of target's that are Junk and I have also noticed that ALOT of the people who are claiming that the X-Terra Pro is that no good don't even own it or even tried it out, but just going By what some people have said about it and I have lowered the Sensitivity down below 20 and in fact I'm at 12 Sensitivity when I first turned it on and I don't need to be able to Dig a hole to China Anyway and using the Full Sensitivity without any kind of ground Feedback and that's why the Jumpy VDI is there And I have since raised the sensitivity up to 18 and Now I can get Targets that are in the 10-12 inches deep but I don't need to be able to Dig that far deep without the Groundskeeper saying and possibly stopping by and asking questions about the big hole and I have found out That the X-Terra Pro it's a Very Very Powerful Detector that I don't need to be at Full Sensitivity just to get a target and when I was using 12 Sensitivity. I was surprised that the targets was in the 6-8 inches deep and the jumpy VDI really told me that there's a junk signal target and I don't have to take the time and Dig it up and then Carry out more than enough Junk Target that the Simplex told me that it's a good target Tone but it wasn't even close and the X-Terra Pro Came out and I have eliminated 2 Junk Carry Bags from my Belt and that's why I love the X-Terra Pro and it's jumpy VDI that's telling me about the target and then I have dug up some of the jumpers and the X-Terra Pro was right 👍 on the money for the junk signal target and the Simplex everything that is metal sounds great but then no discrimination of the target is and I tried to use the All Metal Mode on the Simplex and it's a 5 button push to it and then it's a single tone threshold style Tone that told me nothing else about the target but then on the X-Terra Pro, I can get to the all metal mode with a single button push, 1 Button Push 🤔 and I also have the ability to hear from the detector and the different Tone's of the target and I have the ability to change the Tone's settings from 2 Tone 5 Tone All Tone's And Depth Tone And that's not possible with any kind of Simplex as far as I know today at this moment and then I have heard that the Simplex lineup is so much better than the Minelab Detector's and I'm still waiting for the answer from the same people that have never touched the X-Terra Pro and are only going By what the Other's people have said and Not have actually Used it and the X-Terra Pro JUMPY VDI isn't a Single problem once you know what it's trying to tell you about the target and the Coins will really sound off and not just be lumped together like that of the Simplex lineup and the high, medium and low Tone on the Simplex settings that is so much Old School Technology 🤣🤣 AND until you have the X-Terra Pro in your hands you will never know how much that Jumpy VDI is a totally beneficial to determine what I will dig.

      Simplex Lite, Vanquish 340 seems to be OK.. if you can afford a little more the X-Terra Pro is pretty good for the price. There's a lot of detectors out there it kind of comes down to what areas you are searching & a little bit of preference too.

    Los tres modelos de simplex(lite.bt.ultra)la profundidad a la que llega es la misma, solo cambian alguna cosilla como los tonos ,el bluetooth,pero no gran cosa,el simplex viene con un plato que a mi parecer es mejor ya que detecta en sitios donde el plato grande no cabe , además es mas preciso el plato pequeño,sin duda el lite es mejor en todos los aspectos
