though I had some problem with sea water It also czcams.com/users/postUgkxa-FNYUOM93a388gi9a4brtSCEVmrHgJH land for finding any things very easily. (thought it would work as normal due to it being water proof within certain parts of the detector), on dry land and sand worked well. My first one, so still have lots to learn

Thanks so much from UK. I have been detecting 40 years and seen 'em come and go, I've had the best trust me. I took a break for 3 years but I recently got the bug again and decided not to buy an Nox 800 this time, I got a Simplex and you know what, I have no regrets. It is, as you say, simply fantastic. I saved a fortune here in UK ( the retails at£275) and wow, it's worth every penny. I could afford the Equinox 800 but for what I want ( fields and farmland) it is fantastic. I loved the honesty on your video and you expressed your opinion like an expert presenter- well done. I Love ya man. Have subbed and will look forward to future vids here in UK. Happy diggin! Brgs J.

Seriously, If I had the choice again (and $) to go with a Minelab or a Simplex+ for the second metal detector I ever bought, it's a no brainer! I started for about a month with a Bounty Hunter and was finding more than I could imagine. So I stepped it up to the Simplex +...best decision I ever made! I started out detecting field, so I always used "field mode"...MISTAKE! Go with "All Metal Mode" and listen to your machine closely while following along with the numerical display. I increased my finds by at least 5 fold and depth you can get out of the machine on "All Metal" is insane. I've dug colonial coppers that sounded like they were 2" down and were really 14" down with this mode. YO HAVE TO KNOW YOUR MACHINE! Take your time to get used to all the different settings, nuances, issues, and great things about the machine, and you won't believe what you start pulling out of the ground. I've detected side-by-side with Minilabs' and in almost every case I've ended up with WAY more GOOD finds than my buddies using their 1K machines. Simplex+ is the way to go!

@@BUSTER.BRATAMUS The Legend was not available when I bought my Simplex and I've read many conflicting reviews on the Legend. Just about every review you will read about the Simplex is a good review. I've found many good relics on permissions that have been searched by pulse induction and multi-frequency detectors many times. That is why it's a superb machine in my opinion. I guarantee I could find something with my Simplex that was missed by a Legend.

I got my Simplex a couple of weeks ago and have found three Indian head Pennies and many relics including a metal spoked baby buggy wheel and axle collar yesterday. The only backfall? is that it detects so deep that you have to watch out for the underground pipes and cables. (If the tone is in a line, it'll be fine.) I agree with the faster swings. Cover more ground!

Quick question brother, how essential are headphones? Do you recommend, or could I get away without them? Big difference in price unfortunately

The simplex is the next detector i will be purchasing. Started out with a whites eagle spectrum and a tesoro silver sabre 2(which i still have both and use often) then bought the whites dfx which i didnt like at all and sold very quickly. It looks like the simplex detects at depths that nothing i've ever owned would even come close to. My only concern about the simplex is with the battery, i've read that it is inaccesible and requires a return to the factory to replace(hope that isn't true and would be a real pain if that is the case) Look forward to owning the simplex and trying it out....great review!

I am glad I found this. I have a Garrett pin pointer I’ve been using with an old Whites Prizm 2 and did not have any interference. The Simplex+ just hates it no matter the frequency. F1 is best but it’s still annoying. However I got a pin pointer with the Simplex+ WHP package. So I popped the battery in it and no interference. 👍 I did not know what the different frequency’s were used for. Thanks

I believe there is a mute option with the Simplex+ now to help turn off that interference while pinpointing

Fantastic review! Liked and Subscribed! First timer here, and it was down to purchasing this or the Vanquish 440. I went with the Simplex+ after many, many review videos but your's sold me. I like them both but I prefer the professional and modern design of the Simplex vs the Vanquish. The Vanquish seems to be a champ too but it looks kind of like a kids toy next to the Simplex. Also the fact that the Simplex is submersible to 10', in its price range is very impressive. I live near the beach in Florida, and i've also been a diver for over 18yrs so I think I could really take advantage of that. I also heard in another review the Simplex breaks down so small that you can fit the entire thing into an average size backpack? Well mine was delivered yesterday and it does fit in my favorite old backpack! It just has about 6" of the coil section pole sticking out between the two zippers but everything else fits just fine and secure, as well as all of my other gear. Pretty excited to fine some treasure!
