- CSX Train w Barking Seals Being Followed By CSX Train! Also: We Chase a NS BNSF Train! + More Trains! 6 Trains in all in this action packed train video filmed in and around Dun Kirk NY on July 17th 2023. First, we have a very cool train Chase. This train was a Norfolk Southern train with NS and BNSF power. And we chased it for about 2 miles down-the-line. This was right next to the Ralston Purina dog food plant in Dunkirk, New York. This train had mixed freight on it. And you can hear the
horn as he goes over the railroad crossing. Next, we have a big CSX mixed freight manifest train with barking seals as it goes over the railroad crossing this was in Pomfret New York the train was about 2 miles long, it was a really big one as it headed East. I heard a horn I turned around and there was another train coming on track 2 or track one I should say a train eventually passed the 1st train that went by first. Next, we have a CSX trash train that takes New York City's trash to Ohio. Also, it had some manifest freight cars on. It's also this train starts out in New York City and heads of Columbus, Ohio. After that, we've seen the second half of a Norfolk Southern freight train. I didn't get there in time to get to the beginning of the train. It was a big double stack intermodal train. And lastly, we have another CSX. Trash train with New York City's trash. Like the other one in this video.

Great train chase between the CSX M368 with the DPU Alright and CSX I158...
The M368 was a cool train. I like the new blue box cars 😊. It had lots of lumber cars too. Not to mention the box car with the super cool graffiti! 😊😊😊
I wish those "boys" would lose their passion for scribbling those railroad cars. Defacing those freight cars with enamel paint. It looks ridiculous. That is one reason why the public is forbidden to enter upon railroad property.
It is stunning how much refuse is hauled by rail.

Pacing shot alright! Even NS is not immune to barking seals. Sounds like CSX has both barking seals and hungry dogs at the dog pound. That's a lot of critters on one train. You can't catch them all but you seem to catch more than most. Excellent video as usual, enjoyed it greatly!

"Huuuuge-Ahhh" favorite M368 had a couple interesting "Fallen Flags", despite the abusive graffiti...unmistakable Bay Line with the distinctive-yellow "arrow band" @5:29...Golden West boxcar @6:14 had quite a makeover with two "Tuscan Red" doors that don't even match 🙄!! Re: your pointing the camera to the ground (on your walks)...I was thinking...how else will you be able to spot those "railfanning" turtles???? 😄🤭 👍👍

CSX m368 had 179 cars although watching thr video it seemed like much more. Looked like the trees and brush along the NS rails that WWoT chases trains is getting thicker. A few more years and WWoT will be hard pressed to video the train.

hey trains i got good one for ya! i was talking to guy in the car dept here at the drug store yesterday and he told me a drag stopped and swapped the power around the head and trailing engines, he said he heard 2 days after that happened that a skunk had got into the cab of the lead engine somehow a few days before this stop and sprayed it down good and this crew demanded to stop and swap them around they couldn't talk the stink!! by the way have ran across NKY railfan yet? he's out of jawtooth territory!
