Simply put: in our society, we have social disorders, disorganizations, and disasters that affect our lives. Science, then, to aid us in our pursuits of adaptation and survival, creates instruments or technology that will improve our human condition and increase our likelihood to resist the challenges in our society, such as PCR tests and vaccines against COVID-19.

Science always creates new and innovative ideas. Technology heavily relies on theories on physics, chemistry, astronomy, biology, etc., thus Science dictates the Technology to perform the execution of those ideas and also to conform to the scientific revolution. These advancements in Technology shape the Society on how to live and communicate in a brand new way; ergo, it defines us of who we are in our period.

What is the interrelationship between science, technology and society?
The study of science, technology and society is an interdisciplinary investigation of the relationship between scientific progress and societal forces, and the role of technological innovations in our society. It explain the reasons why certain scientific programs and projects are funded than the other projects, the response of the non-scientific community to certain scientific discoveries, and the role of technology in our day-to-day lives.
