For me, the most important among these 3 components is the "Ego" because as explained, it is the APPLICATION of the two other components. In reality, the most important is not the learning itself, but the urge to apply it in real life.

At first I thought that the most important among the three is the superego since it acts according to what is right and wrong which is what we mostly need in terms of decision making but as I listened more to the explanation I decided that Ego is the most important since there are things that we should consider like the stop light example in the lesson. If we wait for the go signal when we can cross the road because there are no cars we can waste so much time and can't meet our schedule so thinking of other things to consider like our time will help us decide to cross the road when there are no cars even if it is still in stop signal. Ego balances our 2 other personality to avoid doing bad things and at the same time by doing good things.
Was it PTOLEMY who proposed the Geocentric Theory (earth being the center of the universe)?
for me the important thing in a 3 components of human behavior is EGO because he is balancing of the satisfaction between Id and Superego

In my opinion, because Id is our most natural instincts, it speaks our figurative heart feeling. So, the most important thing is to have a higher sense of super ego and a balanced ego. :)

Ego is the most important since it balances the other two. As humans, we aren't made to be slave of our desires thus we shouldn't let the id dominate and as we grow we acquire different ideas of how our world works, we meet different opinions, we are enlightened to what's IDEAL and have a touch of our conscience through the perfect Superego. The ego mediates between the two (id & superego). Through the ego, we can meet our needs while listening to our moral compass.

-Ego is the most important among the 3 in the Freud's psychoanalytic theory because it acts as the mediator between the id and superego. Ego affects the human behavior in a way that it satisfy id's desire but in a realistic and socially appropriate manner (superego). Ego balances the behavior of a person.

In my opinion, the most important of the three components depends on how old a person is or in what stage of life he/she is in. For infants and toddlers, it is naturally important for them to satisfy what their id tells them to do. Toddlers act according to their needs and desires because they are unable to differentiate what is right from what is wrong therefore they are not capable of acting upon the two components. For children, it is more important for them to satisfy their superego because they are only acting based on what they learned from their parents and society. Children tend to behave normally satisfying their superego needs because they are not yet capable of thinking rationally or realistically. For us adults, deciding based on our ego is the most important because we are already capable of making decisions or actions that both encompasses or satisfies our id and superego. We are already capable of making realistic actions or decisions that a toddler or a child is incapable of doing so under certain circumstances.

Super ego
What differentiates a good person from a bad person is having a strong super ego. A strong super ego will result to a self-controlled behavior. A weak super ego means not knowing what is right/having low morality, as a result that person will not conform to moral regulations established by our society. That person likely to become selfish, greedy, impulsive or in other words the Id will manifest and his/her Ego will only justify the action. Investing in our super ego would help us in becoming a better human beings.

Sir tanong ko Lang why did the people accept these new discoveries despite being contradictory to what was widely accepted at that time ??
Accepting new principles in this era requires years for those former intellectualist to believe the heliocentric model. People only moved to heliocentric model when it was widely researched and studied. Even the Church did not accept this model. So, for people to transition from geo to heliocentric model, the former needed to be proven wrong. And after many years, on certain grounds, geocentric was wrong. And because of it's strong evidences, people must learn to accept it and that Christianity also designed that sun being the center is God's will for life on earth to occur.

Sir,good day?I just want to ask why do you think church and science are contradicted to each other?
Dati kasi since nakapainfluencial ng Catholicism, madaling naaccept ng tao ang turo ng church because it is in connection to God's word daw. Kaya mababa pa yung level nila ng accomodation ng bagong principles. But as time goes by, malalaman rin natin that science and Christianity are complementary. Though faith (religion) is above reason (science), wala tayo masyadong makikitang discrepancy sa kanilang dalawa. And For me, science is a proof of God's creation and supremacy.

The Catholic church does not contradict science, put in mind the theorist who theorized the big bang was a Catholic Preist.
The big bang is proof of God's existence explained in a simple and scientific matter.
