Tracie H. here. I done something similar with my granny square quilt that I posted in the group. I took poster board, marked out the size squares I was using, laid the lightest weight fusible I could find over the grid, and placed my squares on top of the fusible before using my pressing mat to press the squares onto the fusible. Love this method, makes points line up perfectly.

Hey Becca!!! What a cute and fun way to use up your left over fabric. I’ve only used the Ten Sisters grids. So far I have made 2 quilts using the grids. Loved how quickly the process went. Actually, her curtains were not English paper pieced. She does a strip scrappy method, similar to how you would start a trip around the world block, then cut apart and randomly arrange the cut apart strips so that they show in squares once complete. She has a video that actually talks about how she put her curtains together, and YES, they are definitely lovely! ❤

I had a collection from the last five years of all my fabrics that I’d cut 4-8 x 2” squares as I got new fabrics and throwing them in tins “for one day”…. I finally started sewing them in July and after a couple of weeks I was 80% done ….it was fun, I just put (the 90s) Charmed on, got out 3 of my fave machines, my old Dressmaker Toyota, my beloved Bernina 1010 and my basic Brother …. and just swapped machines as I felt like it, sewing and having fun! I just don’t know how to finish it off yet 🤗 I didn’t use the interfacing way this time, I tend to onky do that for pixel quilt blocks as I thought it would be too heavy… and the ironing is brutal at this small size 🤗
