The Cake Boss Has a New Food Truck at The Linq Las Vegas

- Buddy Valastro has opened his newest restaurant in Las Vegas, the Jersey Eats food truck at The Linq. The menu includes a "ripper" hot dog and a cheesy "sandweech." It's the latest eatery from the star of the TLC series "Cake Boss" and it's located directly across from Gordon Ramsay Fish and Chips at The Linq Promenade. The celebrity chef's other restaurants include Buddy V’s Ristorante, Carlo’s Bakery, PizzaCake, and the Boss Cafe.

Thanks for another great review of Buddy V's! My favorite hot dogs are Chicago style. The hot dogs you both were munching on looked good! The Linq Promenade should have more outdoor seating. Having a meal on top a trash is not too ideal.
You're missing it, guys. When you eat from a place called "Jersey Eats," chowing down on the top of a garbage can is very appropriate - urban, gritty (LOL). Seriously, the stuff looked delicious. Catherine, your makeup is elegant. Thanks, guys - as always, and yes - take us wherever YOU'RE curious to go. Enjoying your company and enthusiasm.
Linq promenade is a great place to grab a quick bite. Looks like another potential place added to the list.

Growing up in Jersey, nothing better than Zeppoles down at the shore in the summer time. Beach all day, shower, boardwalk games and some night time zeppoles.

#EatMoreHotDogs It didn't look like the dog was cooked enough to get a good 'rip'! The sandwich looked good and I'm a Monte Cristo fan, but not a big marinara fan. I'd give it a try since their marinara looked different. The Italian beignets looked deep fried tasty! Another great video Derek and Catherine!
That dog is an in and out not a ripper. Technically a ripper, but needed to be cooked longer. You’re right

Definitely would love to see Haut Doggery in a video from you two. Great stuff!! We have "ripper" style dogs in Connecticut too, but they are definitely darker in color, crispy in texture, and ripped in a couple of places. My favorite toppings are BBQ sauce, cheese, and crispy onions. Sorry to have missed the dirty fries right along with you. Great videos, thank you for taking us along on the journey. That zeppole (?) reminds me of Dutch oliebollen. In the Netherlands you can get those plain like that Italian thing but also with raisins and currants in it.

My wife and I sat on the steps behind you when we got our haute dogs, seating is non-existent if you don't dine in. It looks like we're back to the linq again just for that food truck! Hopefully by our next visit they'll have some seating. All 3 of the items look so good!

Check out the yard house at the Linq. Happy hour had great prices and great food. We loved the boneless wings whiskey black pepper and the poke nachos..sooo good and cheap!! We ate there 3 times during happy hour.

You need to hit Haute Doggery. Try the chicago dog. And yes nowhere to sit after getting food from the truck. Had the same issue when the chicken food truck was there.

I love hot dogs, so knowing the best places to go for them when I visit would be nice.
Y’all got duped, that’s technically a ripper but that’s an “in and out” meaning it’s fried and cooked, but not fried more than a short time. They didn’t cook it enough to call it a true ripper. Ripper is darker and is more texturized. That dog deserved at least another 5 mins in the fryer. If you ever come out to Jersey, try Rutt’s Hut in Clifton. That’s the ripper spot, they do it right. In my neck of the woods, Mutz is said like “mootz”. But it’s all the same 😂 I just wish Buddy did it right since he’s from here. My inner Jersey is screaming!
