Richard, I really want you to feel better!! I know exactly how bad it is to be/feel weakened. Rest is truly the only cure, along with Divine Intervention. I’m certainly praying for you!
Thank you Johnathan. Richard appreciates it.

Thank you Donald 😊
The Chevy looks and runs awesome!! You and Christina did amazing work, Richard! 🔧👍 Whoever buys this car is going to get a nice car to restore back to glory, or make a restomod. 😎 I hope you're doing well, Richard! Continued great health for you! 👍👍
Thanks Davida.p! Richard is doing great! A viewer is actually coming to look at it tomorrow 😊
Sending you healing prayers and thoughts. Always love watching y'all get these cars running again!
Thank you Rich! Much appreciated 🙏
Glad to see you back to health Richard. and Christine, your enthusiasm is a breath of fresh air. Thanks as always.
Thank you Kevin! We appreciate you watching!
This wonderful old car has soooo many possibilities !!!!! I can just imagine if someone buys this car and does a full restoration on it how fantastic it would be !!!!!
Right on!
Fabulous video. Thank you Richard for taking the time to share. We care. Beautiful car. I love the car. I wouldn't do much to it. All I need of it is that it be safe and dependable.
Thanks Davis. We appreciate your support!
Richard, watching this video scared me. I'm only 45yrs old, I've been having problems, just no warning getting deathly sick throwing up, weak, no energy, went a cardiologist she done a bunch of tests, well I have to get my mitral valve replaced, I'm scared to death. I thought I was in good health never had a hint of heart problems. Need all the encouragement I can get.
Terry we understand. Richard has always been healthy as well. It's a very scary thing to find out. Many of our Viewers commented they'd also had valve replacement. In fact, I believe someone commented on the valve you mentioned in the comments today. We've discovered it's more common than we ever realized. Please keep us up to date when possible. Take care and God bless.
You can sure tell the resemblance between Matt and Richard. So glad Richard came through the surgery so well. Seeing a slightly pudgy Tortie giving the Chevy a "cat scan" was funny. Christina is a very unique kind of lady. So dainty but yet not afraid to get in there and get her hands dirty helping Richard. This couple knows what it's all about. Seeing all of that water makes me wonder if there is a leaking window seal somewhere.
Thank you Richard! 😊
Great episode! Love that car. Cleaned up really nice. Also wishing you "positive vibe's & a speedy recovery" on your surgery Richard.
Thank you as always.
3D part worked great. More importantly, glad to see you're doing well Richard. Best wishes to you & Christina!
Thanks Woody! Appreciate the support 🙏
Best wishes and a speedy recovery Richard. I'm sure you'll be up and better than new in no time. Thanks very much to you and Christina for your brilliant videos!
Thank you Colin! I am almost back to full speed.

Thanks Doug! I hope you get to experience the pain and glory someday 🙂
@@christinarust6957 I've been dealing with cancer tumor but I really enjoy your videos 📹
I want to wish Richard speedy recovery we love your show
So glad to see you are back Richard and pray to, that you are beeing at good health ❤
Thank you! He's doing fantastic! Appreciate you watching 😊
I’ve told you in the past that I’ve had a couple heart attacks and triple bypass. I wish you nothing but a full recovery. I know the thoughts of this type of surgery are overwhelming but a lot of it has become routine. Best wishes Richard and Christina from your northern friend.👍🇨🇦
Thank you Dan! We appreciate your kind words and support 🙏 Take care !
Great old Chevy! I love that color also. Good seeing you again, Richard and Christina, and prayers for complete healing. I love seeing Christina get right in the old Chevy and help out with the clean up. Great job!
Thanks Ronald! We appreciate your support 🙏
Christina Great Job On The Interior!❤
The carburetor mount made 3-D was awesome. I suppose the parts are pretty strong. And yes Christina time does fly detailing a car. You did a great job getting it looking a lot better. You guys are always a great team. Richard that trunk is so solid. Also good job on the fuel tank and reinstall. Runs great. Thank you for sharing.
💯👍👊
Thank you Terry! That 3D part is very cool. Lots of possibilities for things to be made that are difficult to find.
Godspeed Richard! I look forward to many more years of your adventures.
Thanks Joe! As do I:-)
Keep it coming guys I really enjoy your videos and want more
Thanks Brian!
Love this style chevy. Some chrome reverse rims and a $400 interior. The glass and trim really look good. 👍
Ahh...you watched the $400 interior makeover. Thanks for watching, much appreciated!
Good to see you up and about. Best wishes.
Great to see this video and to see you getting back to what you love doing.
Great video. I especially liked the info on dropping and inspecting the gas tank. Helpful info on cutting tubing without crimping the metal. I’m looking forward to your next video.
I always learn so much from him! Glad you agree 👍 Thanks for watching!
I really enjoy tour videos. I am battling pancreatic cancer. these videos take my mind off of the chemo side effects.
You have some tough times, but hang in there. We will keep the videos coming.
A Joy to watch a Good show
Thanks Robert 😊
I use a product called 30 second cleaner. Found at most home improvement stores. Spray it on and let soak for a few minutes then hit it with the pressure washer. It will remove black mold completely. I work on boats and don't bother with anything else. Works better than any other products I've tried.
Thanks Mike. We'll need to try that.
Thanks!
Your cat is doing a"cat scan" on all your hard work. I love your 1950 chev😊
Hahahaha!
Cool car. That paint defect below the rear window is common among cars that used lead filler in the body panels.
Oh, that makes so much since! I remember point out the lead line, in that area on the black Chevy.
Good work Christina and Richard getting the '50 Chevy cleaned and running great. When I was a kid in the '50's, my Dad had a '50 Chevy that looked just like that one. He also had a green '50 Chevy Fastback. I used to stand up on the backseat floor and watch him start those cars. Great memories!!!
Glad this video brought back some good memories, Vincent.
Stellar... glad to see you back in action.
Thanks. It is good to be back.
Simple green is also good for clothing. If you get grease on your pants or shirt spray some on and throw in the washing machine with other laundry on a regular wash. That stuff is great.
Mr. Clean magic erasers work wonders on getting off crud.
So glad to see you healthy again and gaining your strength back. Continue with healing and allow your body to recover. Blessings to all.
Thanks very much Spencer.
The only problem with plastic parts in the engine bay is that after time going through all them heat & cool down cycle the part becomes brittle and breaks.
Matt said it was a special material, not exactly plastic. There were also other technical phrases used🤔🤣 He said it should hold up fine. Guess we'll see. Thanks for watching.
Your efforts and time is highly appreciattd best part of your videos is you dont gi fast
Thank you for the nice comment.
I´m glad, that I subscribed to your cannel Richard. You and Chistina do really good work!
Thank you for your kind words. We appreciate it!
You and Christina did a great job on the old 1950 Chevy. This model and color hold a special place in my memory, as an English teacher of mine in a high school in Knoxville always drive one.
Thanks for sharing and keep up the good work
Glad you enjoyed it Ray. We love it when a video brings back good memories.
Keep it coming i enjoy the vids motivation for me to get out here an work on my old rust buckets Keep It coming man 💪

Another great video, Christina is doing such a good job.
Thanks! She is working hard for sure.

Yes, a rare dealer-installed option!
I somehow missed this episode when it came up, so here's wishing you a speedy recovery, Richard! Love your channel. Cheers from Michigan!

Thank you very much Robert. The car has already been sold. The first person to see it bought it right away.
Good luck with your surgery. And may all go well and have a speedy recovery.
Thank you Jose. I am doing very well.
I love the rare option of the straw broom hood prop. The eventual purchaser will get a great basis for whatever they choose to do with it.
Hi John. Dealer-installed only!
God bless you Richard you'll be in our prayers. I know God will take care of you i feel you and your wife are such example. I think He is Proud of the way you are. Xo

Mr. B. Here ! 👀😎👍. Simply Green good product ! Richard and Christina good to see you guys ! I have 58 Olds I used EZ House Wash was from Home Depot removes mold & sap ! Love the clean look on your car !
Thank you! You know I'm surprised how much we've ran into tree sap issues on cars this year. Definitely need to make a note of that product! Appreciate you watching 😊
@@christinarust6957 Mr. B. Here ! 👀😎👍🍸 you are welcome ! Also De-Nature Alcohol works as well !
A lot of hard work there cleaning and doing the fuel tank, it is a nice car, looks solid. It will make a nice project for someone! Well done again Richard and Christina 😊
Thanks Andy! We appreciate you 🙏 ❤️
Concentrated vinegar is the best thing to remove mold. Get the 30 percent for agriculture and commercial cleaning.
The front of that old Chevy looks a ton better without those front bumper guards. Those 2 door coups are smaller than I remember them being. That car has a nice overall size to it. That original looking upholstery has a good stylistic visual appeal that would have looked darn good when new.
I personally do not like the bumper guards. Agree with you 💯 Thanks for watching much appreciated!
Richard it's great you got checked out and are on the mend and you can count on Christina to take on things like the great cleaning job that made such a difference in how the old Chevy looks get well soon and stay safe Karl from eastern Canada
Thanks for the support Karl!
Cleans up nice !
I had mitral valve replacement 2.5 years ago. It's been good. You'll do well.
Thanks Gary! We appreciate your support 🙏
Hole in the middle of the seat is where I used to put me beer can or bottle.
Glad you are better. Much enjoyed the old Chevy...
My sister got a new heart valve and she’s doing very well. Prayers for you!!!
Thanks Jeanie! Glad to hear your sister is doing well.
Richard I hope everything's going well with your health. I don't know if you've ever tried a product called La totally awesome it's usually sold at the Dollar Tree but lately you can find it just about anywhere I cleaned up a set of heads on my truck with that add man oh man does that stuff work well
Looking very decent. It will make someone a nice affordable driver or they can take it to the next level
Hope you are feeling better!
He's doing wonderful! Thanks for watching!
Great video, just subscribed to your brothers channel. My father in law had a '51 and dropped a corvette engine in it 👍
Richard all the best and prayers🙏 for a speedy recovery from northwest NJ
Thanks very much for the support. Matt thanks you too!
Glad to see you back richard i missed you i hope your feeling better i realy enjoy your videos
Thanks! It is good to be back!
You could take the lock assembly for the trunk to a locksmith and maybe he can make a key for it,
True! Didn't think about that. Thanks big dog!
As a veteran of war those cars help keep my health in good spirits, I'd love to restore it like that veteran wanted
Right on.
Great vid, love the '50 👍🙂👍
Thank you!
HI CHRISTINA AND RICHARD ,, YOU DOING A GREAT JOB FOR BEN ..RIP ,THANKS FOR YOUR SERVICE SIR,,.. DONT GET THE BLEACH IN YOUR EYE BALLS STING!!! THE CAR LOOKS GREAT!!! GREAT GAS TANK INFO. RICHARD HOPE YOUR FEELING BETTER .. PEACE TO YOU BOTH!!!!
I really enjoy watching these videos that you and Christina post. They bring back a lot of memories of when I would help my Papa and Dad work on old and newer cars at my Papa's shop. I semi-restored a 1970 Datsun 510 2DS at his shop in 1995. It still runs and drives to this day. I bought my first can of Cre-Oil a few months ago and it is fantastic. I just bought two more cans of it today. I'm glad that you're doing well, Richard. I'll keep you and the family in my thoughts and prayers for continued healing.✌💪🙏
Thank you very much Leonard. We are glad these videos bring back good memories. All the positive thoughts and prayers you and the viewers are sending me has allowed me to recover very quickly.
Glad to see that you are back and doing well. Good job on the old Chevy.
Thanks! It is good to be back.
Great video, and that car runs really well! Your brother's 3-d part is awesome! Hope you are recovering fast!
Thanks Ron. I am getting better each day. 75% there.
Glad you are recovering well that's a pretty serious operation.@@whattherust
God bless you and your family love the content and i pray your surgery goes well and you feel better soon 🙏
Your support is greatly appreciated!
Use Comet too remove all rust on the body and paint 🎉🎉 will also clean chrome bumpers! 🤔👍🎯😎😎
Bleach sure did the trick. Something that might work well is the spray "cleaner with bleach" products, I used to use the Clorox brand but find that the store brands work as well for less money. There must be some good detergent in the mix with the bleach, it works. That stuff is one of my general cleaning go-tos.
So true! I was using bathroom cleaner with bleach at the end! Thanks Gary!
Thanks as always Richard & Christina. The '50 Chevy reminds me of a '52 Olds 88 we had in Cuba. Also had a '59 Impala. Greetings from California.
Thanks for watching! I'd love to visit Cuba someday. Thanks for watching much appreciated!
Nice work great car
Thanks Clark 😊
BonAmi on a sponge, cleans and buffs at the same time
Richard, good to see you back on your feet! :D
great work on the little big chevy. :) amazing what 3D printing can do these days. ^^
tying the side panels up is a cute solution, but it works... wonder for how long. as you all know nothing lasts as long as a provisorium. :)
Christina, losing track of time while working is what (wannabe) artists like me call "getting into The Zone". The Zone is when the right side of your brain takes over, which is the creative half. the other is the rational one... the creative half has no sense of time, so once you snap out of it you always wonder where time has gone. :) I've cleaned cars out myself, and it's time-consuming as well as satisfacting. :)
I hope the car sells well, and gets restored without killing much patina. though the seat covers and the carpet look pretty modern-day to me... which is a kind of patina as well, con sidering it's been worked over in the 90's. here in germany that could actually count as genuine, too, due to it's age.
Thank you! It is satisfying, as well as interesting. I learn so much about the car, brand, maker, etc. by cleaning them.
@@christinarust6957 and sometimes, colour. "Wait, this used to be white? I had no idea!" XD
Hi Richard & Christina, Greetings from Scotland, firstly, glad to see that you came through the procedure successfully Richard.
Don’t be in any rush to get back to full throttle. Take as much time as you need. I’m looking forward to the upcoming videos.
That’s a really nice car. The exterior came up beautifully and it sounds very smooth when it gets up to temperature.
Christina, that was a fine job on the interior. It’s hard work, and sometimes a bit soul destroying. The limited space always annoyed me , but the result certainly showed it was all worth while.
You both work well together, and it’s obvious you have a passion for what you do. I’m sure it gives you both a good feeling when you compare the before and after.
Keep up the great videos ….& all the best to Richard in his recovery.
John
Thanks very much John. I am getting better each day. Soon I will be completely through it.
Rich , on most tubing cutters you can find an extra cutting wheel under the dial that you turn to tighten it, fun fact!
That is good to know! I'll check mine!
Sorry to hear that it will be OK my wife just went thru double bypass surgery a month ago.
