Thrift Store SMC Pentax 55mm f1.8

A quick look at my SMC Pentax 55mm f1.8. I've had this lens for a few months now after getting it as a birthday gift, and it has become one of my favorite lenses. I love the way photos come out when using this lens.
I paid an average price of $50 CAD, but even at that price I would still recommend picking up one of these if you come across it.

I bought a SMC Takumar 55/1.8 (m42 mount) 15 years ago for $18 US. It's one of my favorite lenses due to the smooth bokeh and how it "draws" people in a soft, dreamy way. I liked it so much that I acquired a 2nd copy a few years later for $24.

I can see myself doing the same thing if I come across another. The dreamy way it draws subjects with the soft backgrounds is the same reason why I like it so much too
