Well with the prophecy we heard, maybe she’s terrified it will come true in the end and she will be left alone, so hides that fear with this over the top personality
@@alxr-pg3d675 there's a prophecy in Fontaine that basically states that all the Fontaine people will be gone and Focalors will be left alone, you see it at the beginning of trailer
@@midnashadow8439 Not just that, but from what we know of the situation so far from the Pari quest, the Oceanids basically all dislike her. Kind of a similar situation to Nahida I think, where they miss the old Hydro Archon.

@@alxr-pg3d675 mhm but it's also true vice versa, there's a chance it's real and not knowing whether or not it will happen is even scarier. In a fantasy world like Genshin, I think prophecies would come true more often than not

Furina was crying because of the prophecy telling that all of the people of Fontaine will be dissolved into the waters, leaving just her alone, with tears. :*(
It's very interesting, the concept of a trial as a performance. If you look at today's society, especially in the U.S, a lot of major court trials are televised or streamed on CZcams. It has almost become a performance, a form of entertainment for people to watch while others lives get ruined. This concept really ties back a lot to modern day society, unfortunately.

As a player who played since the beginning, Im happy that I still have the excitement that I had when I first stepped into teyvat. Genshin really comforts me throughout the years and I can't wait for more content. Im going to be busier for the next months but at least I'll have more contents to enjoy
Surprisingly I haven't seen as much love for Furina, a lot of people either didn't really talk about her at all or don't like her brattyness.
Couldn't be me though I haven't been this obsessed with a character since Mona back when I first started playing, I haven't spent any primos since Kirara in preparation for the archon and boy o boy am I glad cause she is perfect in every way 💙
Also I am unreasonably excited for the party screen animations LOL, I can't wait to go through and see them all

Given all the hints surrounding Freminet being an artificial human, and the clear links and many similarities between him and Albedo... And now him sounding near identical to Albedo... I'm fairly confident in my assumption that Freminet is another of the numerous failed Albedo Prototypes!

I'm betting either they already have it before we get there, or Focalors has set things up so their attempt to grab it will inevitably require doing things that will help to save her nation and people... and that she didn't want it for the time being anyway. Like Morax but less contracts and more hostage negotiations.

My guess about the prophecy is that the system that judges in the court will deem the nation as a whole guilty.

I want her to be one of my favorite characters. The problem is that we still don't really know much about her beyond that she's a very visible figure and if she isn't stupid (so far we have not seen a single archon who is) she's going to be deliberately playing to the hostile eyes outside the nation. And that Fontaine is in a very long-term trap that she quite possibly inherited. I'm willing to believe that Furina really is a brat: the problem is we don't know how many other people Focalors might also be being and we've certainly seen characters self-aware enough to deliberately control and exploit awareness of their visible flaws. (Say, Herta.)
On the one hand, this program pretty much ruined a lot of my speculation about Fontaine's inexplicable energy crisis. (Hydro is not an element associated with a lack of regeneration.) On the other, Furina seems to be deliberately choosing not to control her courtroom and we've recently gotten another reminder that Hydro is an element strongly associated with both revelation and deception... and Nahida finds her interesting (which at the very least should mean difficult to predict).
My greatest hopes for the storyline are that things are being remixed to conceal that her entire plan comes into play after things finally break to control the exact directions of the collapse, and that the siblings are really the opening act while Focalors waits for her own magic show to start. The problem is that while I'm sure there's a great story there to be told, I'm doubting the actual writers thought of it.
...So we'll still have to see what she's like.

I agree, but we've had a couple years now to see how people coming into this game react, and it turns out most of the ones who know what gacha games are like come in wanting to "pull the best characters right away" and assume that any character the game gives you must be garbage. This is stupid, but I've seen that there's a level at which masses of player perception erase reality. This may be needed - and if not, we'll finally have tried it to check.
