I swear I wasn’t gonna pull for Firefly but after playing this quest, I surrendered all my Jiaoqui savings and got her. Before I was like calling her stupid for the way she keeps risking her life to change destiny but then it reminded me a lot of Kiana from HI3. Like she’s such an idiot and idiots don’t know when to give up, you have no choice but to admire their brave stupidity. 😭 And then that subtle homage to HI3 from Archeron really hit too close to home. I was in shambles. This was truly PEAKnacony.

Did she spend like... 30 seconds just eating food and reading chat instead of watching the cutscene? Also, why is the first Malos encounter entirely cut out? Why not show that, but show multiple cutscenes where absolutely no reaction is happening or words spoken?

I love Childe so much. He's such a "Real One" to instantly realize that we were trying to distract and delay Arlecchino and helped us do it. It also shows how well he knows us to know that we wouldn't stand a chance in Hell of keeping Arlecchino occupied without his help. Something that really stings about Shania’s situation is that her father is implied to be the descendent of the Founder Reid, Panacea, while her mother married into the family. He lived up to the example set by his ancestors Reyn and Sharla, even implied to be in good terms with house Vandham despite their political differences, but her mother was so obsessed with the family name that she ran it into the ground and killed her daughter for it. In Aionios, this is their legacy.

God Xenoblade is so peak with how everything is connected to each other.

Future Redeemed is truly wonderful as a conclusion to the Xenoblade series, but it also lovingly makes references to Xenosaga through name drops and the falling star AND Joanne Hogg who sang the ending song of Xenogears all the way back in 1998 was brought back to sing this ending song (she's in her 60's!). Super bummed to see these characters go, but I'm excited for the future of the series. After two failed attempts in Gears and Saga, Takahashi finally got to conclude a story on his terms. :')

I love how the concept of "If we can't save the world someone else will." It is exactly what Rex tells Jin, as long as they pass on their legacy and will, even if they are not there, someone will achieve it. And it is symbolic that it was his daughter Mio's group with the help of the descendants of the city that they helped found.

I see you haven't had enough (I understand 🙏) But hey ! What about giving Xenogears and Xenosaga a try ? they're both from the same author (and they're legendary !) And there is also Xenoblade X, less story oriented but definetly worth a try And.. maybe, if you replay the end of Future Redeemed afterward, you might be able to understand some interesting lore and implications on the Xenoblade universe and what could be the next Xenoblade about. I don't wanna spoil anything so let's just say that Xenoblade reuses concepts from Xenogears and Xenosaga that have been way more developed and explained there and can be transposed to the Xenoblade universe. And perhaps there's more :p

I wanna highly recommend playing xenosaga, not just of the slight connection to Xenoblade, but just cause the character writing, foreshadowing and cutscenes are just as good as Xenoblade in my opinion, although it is a touch more convoluted
